Alpha Calvin

I slowly walk out of the tree line with Alpha Ashton firmly in my sights, he's tall but not as tall as me nor is he as muscular as me and I may not have fought against him before but I've heard the stories, and I'm fully aware of his reputation as a strong Alpha and of how wolves tend to run from him rather than at him.

Unfortunately for him, I'm not just any wolf and I don't back down easy, he doesn't frighten me, and he's going to find that out tonight. Those children are innocent and I won't stand by while he does the unthinkable to them, I will give my life to save them if I need to and I know that every member of my pack would say the same and is willing to fight right now.

"Good evening Alpha Ashton." My voice booms in his direction and across the forest with more force than I originally intended, not that I give a fuck. He turns to face me and I watch a flicker of surprise and concern briefly wash over his face when he realizes who I am but he quickly masks it and I bite back a laugh when he stands a little taller and puffs out his chest.

"Good evening Alpha Calvin. I must say it is a surprise seeing you out here this fine night."

"I was thinking the same thing when I saw you coming out of that tunnel Alpha Ashton." I spit out his name with disgust and a grin when he shows me that he clearly heard it but I don't give a fuck, the sick fuck is an embarrassment to all Alphas and doesn't deserve that title. "What are you doing out here in an underground tunnel at night?"

He starts mumbling out some lame-ass excuses that I ignore but I dont miss the slight nod that he makes with his head nor do I miss Coby heading back inside the tunnel, even if I hadn't caught sight of him moving in the corner of my eye the sound of the door to the tunnel creaking when he opened it would have alerted me to what he was doing.

"Do you really think I dont know about the children that you have inside that tunnel?" I point towards the door as my voice rises. I'm done playing games with this twat and his lame-ass excuses, I also dont trust Coby in there with the children. he could do anything to them and I'm not willing to wait around and give him a chance to hurt them.

"I dont know what you're talking about Alpha Calvin." He gives me a dirty grin but he's bluffing, he knows that I'm on to him, and he's a bigger fool than I thought if he thinks that he can divert my attention and make me walk away.

"You have one chance to hand over those children or I'm going to tear you apart!" The words leave me in a growl that I can't control while Colton becomes harder to hold back.

"You can try and tear me apart but you will fail." He's cooky I'll give him that.

"Oh, you have no idea of what I'm capable of, especially when there are children involved you sick fuck!"

"What I do with my time is my business, not yours!" His voice rises as he starts getting frustrated and if I wasn't so pissed at the reason for this argument I would properly laugh at how squeaky he just sounded.

"Hand. Over. The. Children. Now!" I ground out the words surprised that my teeth haven't shattered with how hard they are grinding together as my temper hangs on by a very thin thread.

"Nope." He pops his 'P' in a cocky manner while he crosses his arms at his chest. He looks towards the tunnel and the men that are surrounding it then looks back at me with a cooky grin.

He may have numbers on his side but I have strong-ass fighters and even better than that I have pissed-off wolves on my side who will fight like never before to save those children.

"Do your worst Alpha Calvin." His sly grin as he speaks is the last straw for me causing my last ounce of restraint to crumple. I let out a loud growl as I allow Colton to step forward in my head ready to get out but not before I hold up my hand and punch the air.

It's the signal for my men to come out of their hiding spots and before I've even finished shifting I hear the snarls and growls of my men as they shift into their wolves and head towards me while the look of shock and horror on Alpha Ashton and his men's faces is enough to have both Colton and me laughing.

Did the idiot really think that I was out here alone?

"Let's go!" Liam bellows out the second he sees Cal's signal. No one needs telling twice including Alpha Tito and his men as everyone instantly lets out growls and snarls as they shift into their wolves.

"Stay safe baby," I shout out to Jack before I shift.

"You too darling," He shoots me a wink before jumping in the air and shifting into his wolf Taz causing me to laugh as I feel Alfie losing his shit in my head wanting to shift to be with his mate. "Go for it, Alfie."

The moment I finish speaking I feel my bones start to move and my body heats up as Alfiensteps forward in my head and takes over. I jump in the air and allow him to shift before landing on all four paws right next to Taz.

He looks across to me before licking across my whole cheek which Alfie quickly returns with one of his own before we both face the front and let out growls as we run with all we have towards Cal as Alpha Ashton's men turn around from facing the tunnel and shift into their wolves then head for us.

I dont get very far before I see a wolf heading for me, the first of many I'm going to guess. He's larger than me but I dont let it faze me as I focus on his moves. When his body is just inches from me he jumps in the air in an attempt to land on my back but unfortunately for him I already saw the move coming and I swiftly jump over and turn around so that I'm facing him before he even hits the ground.

He turns around to face me letting out a growl of frustration before diving forward toward me again, he dives towards my right side and I use the moment to push myself to my right and barge him off his feet.

I jump forward at him trying to get to his neck but this time he's the one that sees it coming and he quickly escapes my move before butting me in the nose with his head the fucker. I quickly shake it off and jump onto his back and bring my paw down onto his head.. hard.

He lets out a whine and I use his moment of distraction to bite down on his neck wasting no time in shaking him with so much force that his fur and skin tear apart and just seconds later his whole neck tears apart and he lets out a loud whine as he takes him last breath.

I spit out the piece of flesh that's still in my mouth while looking around at the war that's in front of my eyes and I swear that this fight has gone from zero to one hundred in just seconds. I can already see body parts and blood on the ground and as much as I pray that it's none of our men deep down I know that there's a good chance that they are our men and it makes my heart skip a beat.

A loud snarl catches my attention and after a quick look around me, I see Johanna one of our warriors fighting two wolves while a third is heading her way. I dont fucking think so! I storm their way quickly reaching them and throwing one of them off of her and towards a tree, the wolf hits the tree with a loud thud and falls to the ground lifeless.

I turn my attention to another one of the wolves on top of her but before I can do anything a loud earth-shaking growl brings everyone to a stop and my heart racing inside my chest.
