Gamma Jack

I don't know what that dickheads playing at but the hollow feeling in my stomach isn't helping. Why the fuck would he let the women out of the safe room and take Kelly? Why would he say he's a warrior and that Ash linked him when he's not one nor can he link anyone? Hell, he's not even a member of the pack.

"Ash I want you to go and check your floor just in case they are there and there's some fucked up explanation for this behavior. Take Jack and a couple of warriors with you." Cal's in Alpha mode and ready to issue out orders.

"Ok Alpha." Ash sends him a nod before looking my way.

"Tom and Jason you're with us." The guys nod my way before falling into line behind Ashley and me.

"She had better be up here, I don't care what his explanation is, I just need her to be there Jack." My mate's sad look breaks my fucking heart and I wish I could promise him that she is there but we both know that there's a good chance that she's not.

"Whatever happens we will find her Ash. She's our sister and no one fucks with her!" The words leave my lips in a growl but I can't help it. I love that little girl already and anyone who hurts her will pay! He gives me a nod and I see the love in his eyes as he smiles at me then he turns and heads for the stairs with us right behind him.

"Kelly!" He calls out as soon as we hit the floor. "Kelly baby are you here?"

"Kelly!" I call out next but so far all we are being met with is silence. "Everyone split up, check every room." Both Tom and Jason give me eyebrow-lifting looks. "No rooms are off-limits guys also check any cupboards that she could fit in."

They both nod and run off to the other side of the floor. I know they were asking for permission to our bedroom and yes usually that would be the one room that would be of limits but right now I couldn't give a fuck about anything they find unless it's Kelly.

"Kelly! Where the hell is she?" I'm slowly losing grip of the small amount of patience that I have when I hear a loud thud and cursing coming from the kitchen. I run like my ass is being burned and get there in seconds to find Ashley about to throw a glass at the wall.

I step up to him gripping his wrist and take the glass from him. "We'll find her baby." He looks to the floor before pointing to the unit. I follow his movements and see a piece of paper. I step forward and pick it up. Ashley starts to shake and I pull him in under my arm holding him close as I begin to read the note.

I'm sorry Ashley. Please know that I had no choice. I'll take care of her for as long as I'm allowed..

"He has taken her but I don't understand why. We've been incredibly close. This doesn't make sense." He whispers.

"It may not make sense but either way he's a dead man when I find him!"

"Wait a minute... What the..." Ashley's head shoots up looking at me like he's had an idea but is completely confused by it.

"What is it, babe?"

"My dad... He was in the safe room with the others... Where the fuck is he? What if they have him too?" Oh shit! I hadn't even thought about Matthew. Fuck!

"Shit baby I don't know, let me link Cal, and see if he knows." He nods but doesn't let go of me as I open up my mind link and get straight to business.

"Cal, have you seen Matthew? He was in the safe room with the others but Ashley has just realized that he hasn't seen him since we got back?"

"Shit no I haven't seen him, Jack. I'll get some warriors on personally searching for him right away, I'm sure he's around here somewhere. Any luck with Kelly?" His tone alone tells me that he knows that we haven't had any luck but still he's hopeful.

"Thanks, Cal, let me or Ash know if you see him and she's not here. We've found a note in our kitchen saying I'm sorry Ashley. Please know that I had no choice. I'll take care of her for as long as I'm allowed. C. He's taken her and Ash doesn't have a clue why he'd do it."

"Fuck! ok, you guys get yourself back down to the kitchen and I'll meet you there. We'll find her Jack!"

"I know we will Cal. We'll be down right away." I close the link and fill Ashley in on what he said and we quickly round up Tom and Jason and head downstairs to meet everyone else.

Gamma Ashley

My heart is pounding as we head down to the kitchen. I'm tucked into Jack's side and it's bringing me some much-needed comfort but still, I feel like I can't breathe. Why the hell would Coby do this? I don't understand but one thing I do know is that he'd better pray that neither Jack nor I find him because he will be one sorry wolf if we do.

"Any luck with Matthew?" Jack's voice brings me out of my lost thoughts and I quickly realize that we have already reached the kitchen and Jack's straight to business.

"No, I'm afraid not. I've got Smith, Tony, Wilson, and Jessica looking for him and they'll let me know the minute they find anything. Ash, we will find both of them," The look of determination in his eyes as he speaks to me reminds me of why I've quickly become so proud to have him as my Alpha, not that I need reminding.

"Thank you, Alpha. I have a feeling that my dad has been taken too although I don't understand how because no one knew he was here."

"Coby has been here, did you tell him anything, Ash?" I watch as Cal's brain ticks over as he tries to figure this out.

"No, I didn't say anything to him which is why I don't understand why my dads gone and I don't understand why Coby has taken

Kelly. I've known him a long time and he's not the type of person to do this... there has to be more to this but for the life of me, I can't figure out what. Either way, he's a dead man when I find him for what he's done!"

"Have you got the note that he left?" I nod and Jack hands it to Cal while we stay silent and let him read it. "He'll look after her for as long as he's allowed? what can he mean by that?"

"My guess is he means he'll look after her until he hands her over to Hailey maybe or... or the buyer." Jack gives me a gentle squeeze as he speaks while I battle to keep myself calm.

"Ok let's spilt up again and keep searching, there are still places they could be. I've also sent warriors out to start searching the grounds. If we don't get any luck soon then we will meet back up and work out our next move ok?" We all agree with Cal and head off to continue the search.

Jack stays by my side and I know that he's not going to leave me alone to search, as much as I want to tell him that it's ok for him to go on his own and that it means more ground covered I don't think I can do this without him right now so I choose to say nothing and stay close to my mate.

Kelly

"Where are we going, Coby?"

"To see your dad princess." He smiles down at me while he holds my hand as we walk through the forest. I'm not allowed in the forest without a grown-up but Coby is one and he's my brother's friend so I know that it will be ok.

"Why has daddy gone somewhere? He told me that he wouldn't leave the pack house without me again." Daddy always does what he says so why has he left me now?

"He had to go to see a friend but he didn't want to leave you like he said he wouldn't so he asked me to come and get you and take you to him." Coby smiles at me as we walk across lots of flowers.

He bends down and picks some out of the ground and gives them to me. "Flowers for a princess." He bows giving them to me making me laugh. Coby is funny and always makes me laugh when he acts silly.

The more we walk the darker the forest gets and I don't like it. I've never been this far into the forest before and I'm starting to get a little scared. I think about my dad and that helps me to be a little less scared but then I remember something that he told me when I first came to this pack.

Kelly, I will never leave this pack without you I promise princess and I need you to promise me that you will never leave this pack unless it's with me, Ashley, Jack, Beta Liam, or Alpha Calvin or unless I tell you that it's ok. Remember Kelly no one else knows that I'm here and you can't tell anyone else either ok princess? We can't risk anyone outside of this pack finding out I'm here yet. I need you to promise me!"

"He doesn't know," I whisper to myself as I get a strange feeling in my body, it's tingly and I don't like it. I pull my hand away from Coby's and he stops and then looks at me. "what's wrong princess?"

"How do you know that my daddy is at the pack?"

"Hmm, Ashley told me of course."

"No, he didn't, he wouldn't!" He's lying to me. Coby said he was my friend but I don't think he is. He steps closer to me reaching out for me but I jump back.

"Come on Kelly we need to get going, your dad is waiting for you." I don't believe him.

I look around me and as quickly as I can I run away from Coby hoping that I'm going the right way back to the pack house. I'm a fast runner and I hope that I can outrun Coby. I look behind me and see him chasing me, he's not far behind me and it scares me.

I look in front of me and keep running as fast as I can when I hear a loud grunt. I look behind me to see Coby on the floor and I think he's fallen. I want to see if he's ok but I can't, I need to get away from him so I keep running.

My heart is pounding so hard that I can hear it beating in my ears and I'm sweating from the heat I feel but I can't stop, I can't!

I look behind me again but I can't see him and I'm relieved but I know that he will still be looking for me. I'm running so fast that it's hurting when I breathe so when I came up to a large rock I decide to hide behind it so that I can take a break.

I duck down low and try and keep silent hoping that he doesn't find me. I'm scared! I'm all alone out in the forest, it's getting dark and Coby wants to take me somewhere and I may not know where that is but I know that it won't be a good place. I want my dad. I want Ashley and I want Jack. I wonder if they know that I'm missing? I wonder if they are looking for me.

My breathing calms down and I decide to start running again. I need to get out of the forest before it's too dark. I stand up and peek out from behind the rock and boy am I glad when I don't see Coby.

I take one step out from behind the rock when a massive hand comes from behind me and covers my mouth. I kick and lash out as I'm lifted from the ground but I'm not strong enough to get free and I feel tears fill my eyes as I get more scared.
