Listening to Jack as he shares some of his experiences with me causes a surge of emotions to invade my body and mind.I am so happy that he's already sharing some of his life with me even if he didn't mean to but hearing him talk about another guy in that way makes me angry and Alfie's even worse. Of course, I know it's in his past and I'm fucking relieved that nothing happened between him and Jace but still I can't help but take a moment to think about him being with other guys. I wasn't a virgin meeting Jack and I am fully aware of the fact that I am a huge hypocrite but I don't care. He's my mate and I don't want to think of any other man being near him.

The Beta blood that flows through my veins doesn't help me either, the higher ranking that a wolf is the more possessive they are plus male wolves are worse than she-wolves, and there are two males here so we are fucked! On the other hand, I love his story, I love hearing about how well Alpha Calvin and Beta Liam took things and I'm pretty sure I'm going to think the same once I hear Nora's story too.

I suddenly feel a bang of sadness in my heart for the friends I've left behind, my true friends who accepted me without question and supported me until the very end. Hell, Coby even helped us escape and I just pray he's ok and that no one found out.

"So Nora, how did she take it?" He instantly smiles taking my breath away. "She was incredible, just amazing but that's Nora for you!" He looks away from me and towards the river that's in front of us before taking a deep breath.

After I got off the bus that day I decided that it was time to tell Nora, I was pretty confident that she would be ok with it but still, I couldn't stop the nerves, and by the time I got home my heart was pounding and my hands were slick with sweat. Nora was in the kitchen cooking as she always was when I got home from school. "Good afternoon sweetie, how was school?" Her smile always makes me feel warm inside but it doesn't take away my nerves.

"It was ok but they surprised us with a science test last period and I'm not feeling too confident about it!" She steps away from the stove and wipes her hands on the dishcloth that's tucked in her cooking apron as she comes toward me. "Did you try your best?" I nod and smile. "Then that's good enough for me, the pot roast is almost done and we have key lime pie for dessert." My mouth instantly waters as she speaks, this woman is a goddess when it comes to cooking.

The longer I'm sanding here the quicker my nerves are starting to get the better of me and of course, Nora doesn't miss it. "What's wrong sweetie?" Her beautiful face is laced with concern and I hate it. "I... huh... I have something that I want to talk to you about but you're busy at the moment so we can talk later!" I turn to leave the room mad at myself for letting my nerves get the better of me but Nora pulls me back by my arm and spins me around to face her. "Take a seat darling, the food can wait." She walks over to the stove and turns the heat down before taking two bottles of water out of the fridge and taking a seat across from me while handing me a bottle that I happily gulp down.

"Talk to me darling, you know I'm always here for you!" I nod because I do know but I'm struggling to form any words. "Is it school? Have you argued with the boys? Is it a girl?" I laugh at her comment about it being a girl and she smirks at me as if she knows something that I don't. "No, it's none of those... Nora... I..." I run my sweaty hands down my jeans and take another sip of my water. The whole time Nora's just sitting there with a smile on her face and the patience of a saint. Fuck come on Jack just do it already! "Nora I'm gay." I rush the words out while squeezing my eyes shut, the worried part of me waiting for a bad reaction but nothing comes.

After a few seconds, I open my eyes to see Nora still smiling at me "I know sweetheart." Huh, what did she say? "You know?"

"I do darling, I've known for a few years, maybe even before you realized it!"

"But how? I don't understand!"

"My brother was gay. He died a few years ago but anyway he knew from a very young age and I started noticing a few similar trades in you a few years ago but I wanted to be sure so I waited for you to come to me and I'm glad that you have."

"Wow... I... so you're ok with it?"

"Of course darling. Love is love it doesn't matter who you love as long as they treat you right and love you back then I'm happy!" All my worry and nerves instantly disappear and the relief I feel is insane. I take a sip of my water as she starts to speak again "You know Jack, your parents... they also knew." That sip of water is now over the table, and I'm pretty sure Nora caught some too. She laughs while wiping the table but I can't move a muscle or say a single word

"W what?"

"We used to speak about it and they were also convinced that you were gay but they didn't care either Jack, they just wanted you happy!"

I'm pulled from my memories as Ashley wraps his arms around me and I realize that I am crying, the only time I ever cry is when it comes to my parents and I know I should feel weak for crying in front of my mate so soon but I don't, all I feel is comfort as he continues to hold me while one of his hands gently rubs soothing circles on my back.

"Jack, where are you?" A link from Calvin brings me out of my thoughts as I quickly check the time and realize that we are late for the breakfast meeting.

"Shit sorry Cal we got talking and I lost track of time!"

"No worries brother. Come to my floor, we've already got Beta Matthew with us." I let him know that we are on our way and quickly close the link before filling Ashley in and heading toward the packhouse.

We soon enter the Alpha's lounge hand in hand to find Calvin, Liam, Beta Matthew, and both sets of parents there waiting for us. Ashley goes over to his dad and embraces him in a firm hug just before the smell of bacon and eggs invades my nose. I head over to the kitchen unit where the food is spread out and fill two plates for us both and Calvin comes over and makes us coffees.

I set the food down on the small table next to the loveseat just as Ashley moves toward me and I'm quick to take his hand and pull him onto my lap as I sit down.

Calvin doesn't waste any time in telling Beta Matthew and both sets of parents all about his conversation with warrior Zack and his mate and again I find myself floored even if I did already know about the conversation I'm still shocked by it.

"I still don't understand, how is this even possible?" Ashley barely manages to get his words out and despite my confusion, I try my best to push my own feelings aside and concentrate on my mate. "I don't think any of us understand what's going on right now but I promise that we will do everything we can to figure this out!" Calvin says.

"Wait where did you say Kat's grandmother lives?" Beta Matthew looks like he's had some sort of light bulb moment and it's piqued my interest. "She lives up north at the black viper pack," Liam answers. "Well fuck me sideways!" Ashley suddenly spits out so bluntly that it causes Calvin to spit his coffee out all over himself and Liam to hold his ribs from laughing so hard while I'm right there with him.

"What is it?" Calvin asks while still laughing and wiping down his shirt with a napkin.

"My brother lives at the black viper pack." Betta Matthew answers and I can't help but feel like that is a weird coincidence. "That does seem strange, there are a few packs up north and very little chance of them both living in the same pack. "Has Kat got back to you with any news yet?"

"No, not yet Jack but hopefully soon!" Cal sounds positive but I can't help but have a strange feeling about all of this. "As soon as I hear anything you will all know. Now we have training lessons so we need to get to them but just quickly before you all leave Beta Matthew, Ashley I want you to know that I haven't forgotten about Kelly and I want to assure you both that we will do whatever is needed to help you and to start I will call you all for a meeting at some point today so we can sit down and start discussing the

situation."

Both my dad and I quickly thank Calvin before we all leave his floor. Calvin takes my dad with him to training so that he can assess his skill while Liam heads to his office to get some paperwork done. "I've got an hour before my class starts and seeing as you'll be training in my class today so I can assess you it looks like we've both got some free time, what would you like to do darling?" Jack asks as we head down towards the Gamma floor.

"You that's what I want to do!" Shit I didn't mean to say that out loud but fuck it I've said it now and besides, it's fucking true! He lets out a laugh but I soon see his sexy smirk appearing across his face as he stops and leans down close to my ear "Is that so?"

A shiver runs down my body and at the same time, my cock twitches as I reach up a little until I'm now the one whispering into his ear. "It is, I want your ass and I want it now!"

The low growl that rumbles from his chest is sexy as fuck and has me painfully hard in seconds, he takes my hand and starts heading toward his floor without saying another word. I look up only to see a guy in Jack’s bed and I swear I feel a crack in my heart. I look on the ground and see clothes there including boxers and that sight completely does me in as a fog takes over my brain and I run.
