Pregnant With Four Alphas' Babies: A Reverse Harem Romance Chapter 203: Kill Them All
*Eli*
Brent and Sean have insisted on coming with me, and I’m glad about that. But I’m not glad that they seem to feel responsible for Kelly’s disappearance since they’d left before they knew the girls were secure. They’d been so excited to see whether the rickety old van would make it all the way back to Mark’s castle that they had just taken off driving and didn’t wait for the other car to drive off.
I have told them multiple times that it isn’t their fault, that Mark has insisted that Chris is a strong, capable warrior and whatever has happened, I’m sure he is doing everything he can do to keep Kelly and the girl, Heather, safe right now. Not to mention that Kelly can be a force to be reckoned with as well—I know I don’t want to be on her bad side.
But I guess if I were in the same situation as Brent and Sean, I would blame myself too.
Eustace has also abandoned his attempt at restoring the old van to join us in the search as well. I imagine he feels the same way as Brent and Sean. Heather is one of his pack members, still a child, really, and she’s missing, too.
They all seem to be doing better now that they are out with me looking for the girls and Chris. I’m sure it feels good to be taking some action to find them all.
My feelings, on the other hand, are completely torn and confused. I want my sister back now. But it kills me to leave Rose and my little Ethan behind, even though I know the other Alphas will protect them with their lives.
Ethan… what a beautiful name Rose had chosen for my boy.
Eustace is driving. We’re in one of Mark’s SUVs, and even though our mission is dead serious, he’s got the shittiest grin on his face that I’ve ever seen.
“I… I ain’t never in my life driven something as fine as this,” he says, looking over to me.
I nod. This is a pretty nice, new vehicle, and everything’s so rundown out at that old resort. I understand where he’s coming from. “I’m sure Mark will let you drive several of his cars after we find Kelly and the others,” I say.
“Ya think so?” he asks, taking his wide eyes off the road.
“Only if you watch the road,” I say with a little laugh. It’s not easy to laugh right now, but the look on Eustace’s face is just comical. He’s like a kid in a candy store.
I look in the side mirror at the caravan of warriors behind us. It’s not a huge contingent because we needed to leave more than enough warriors behind to take care of all the threats at Mark’s castle, but I have to say we look pretty impressive in our caravan driving down the road.
“Here she is,” says Eustace, nodding forward at the bend in the road where we’d pulled over when we changed cars before, the night I was racing to get to Rose on time.
I still can’t believe I’d made it just as my little son was born. He’s the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen in my life, next to Rose. My mind wanders for a few seconds to what happened after that… the blood on the floor, Rose not responding. ‘No,’ I tell myself. I can’t let myself go there. Rose is healthy. The pups are all healthy. And they are all safe in Mark’s fortress of a castle.
I snap out of it enough to use the mind-link to alert all the warriors in the cars behind us that we’ve reached the spot, and one by one, they pull over. Once all the engines are off, everything is so quiet and still. This is a highway, but it’s rarely traveled, apparently. In the shadowy dusk we’d been in that evening, I hadn’t given much thought to my surroundings. I’d had too many other things on my mind at the time.
A few warriors who are close friends of Kelly shift so they can look around for her scent. I stay in human form for now, looking around the desolate landscape. Something just doesn’t seem right.
I feel a brush of air as Brent walks up beside me. “We saw nothing between here and the castle,” he says.
I nod and reach into my mind for Tyler. His group is moving slower, checking out any side roads along the same route. ‘Anything?’ I ask him.
‘Not yet,’ he says. ‘A few dirt roads have some signs of recent tire tracks, but we’d have to split up to check them all out.’
‘Do it,’ I say.
‘Yes, Alpha,’ he replies.
I know Tyler still blames himself for the Cora incident, but that wasn’t his fault. He was happy that I’d made it back but was really upset with the deaths of Ben and Liam, not to mention Kelly’s disappearance. When we get through all this, the other Alphas and I will make sure that everything is secure within our ranks. I know Tyler well and trust him, but I can tell that lately he’s felt guilty.
I guess there’s a lot of that going around these days.
‘Alpha!’ I hear one of my warriors in my head—Valda, one of Kelly’s friends who is currently in wolf form. ‘We have something over here, just off the road to the east.’
I run over and see Valda and some others gathered in a circle in the roadside brush. All of them have their noses fixed on something on the ground in front of them. I still haven’t shifted yet, so I squat down to take a look at it.
“Auto glass,” I say, picking up the piece.
‘Yes, Alpha,’ says Valda. ‘Appears to be from a front headlamp.’
Brent comes jogging up behind me. When he’s next to me, he shakes his head. “That doesn’t make any sense,” he says. “I’m sure they’d started driving. There’s no way they could have gotten into a wreck right here, where they hadn’t even taken off yet.”
‘I’m not picking up her scent,’ says Valda, confirming Brent’s suspicions.
I nod. “This does look recent, but I don’t see how it can have anything to do with her,” I say. “And there’s no other wreckage around.”
Even though she’s in wolf form, I can make out the frustrated and frightened expression on Valda’s face.
“We’ll find her,” I say decisively. “Okay. Whatever happened, it happened somewhere between here and the castle. So, let’s retrace our steps and help Tyler out. He’s got some tire tracks to follow.”
I sigh. I’ve been calling Kelly repeatedly in the mind-link, but still, there’s no answer from her.
I refuse to believe that the worst has happened. I will find her.

*Alastor*
I’m positively salivating as I approach the territory of Alpha Mark. Such a minuscule task left for me to do, and then I’ll rule the entire kingdom.
That idiot Gene is the perfect patsy. He’s so stupid that he can’t even tie his own shoes. This almost seems too easy, but I know I deserve this, so maybe that’s why.
I look back at the other vehicles behind me; they contain some of the king’s best warriors, and they’ve all agreed to be a part of something wonderful. The hardest part had been finding which ones I could trust to be on my side, and it turns out that wasn’t a problem at all. Most of them had felt they had a shot at the kingdom themselves until those four despicable Alphas came along.
They’re more than happy to help put an end to them.
What a stupid idea… to breed four Alphas with one woman. Ridiculous. But then, I expect nothing but stupidity from the soon-to-be ex-Alpha King. It’s about the perfect karma that the woman bore four of the little brats, leaving the king so confused that he was more than easy to manipulate.
I see the top of the castle, which looks like some sort of rich man’s mansion, appear above the horizon as we move closer. It doesn’t even appear to be guarded…. They are such stupid Alphas. Their arrogance will pay off in my favor, I’m sure.
I instruct the vehicles to stop and the warriors to prepare to shift.
My simple task… is to kill four bratty pups, a woman, and four useless Alphas.
This is going to be fun.
