Pregnant With Four Alphas' Babies: A Reverse Harem Romance Chapter 67: All In
*Emily*
I rush down the hallway, flying as fast as I can, trying not to lose my footing on the slick floor. I have to get back to my room unseen, but I’m afraid it’s already too late, and someone knows I was hanging out around Eli’s door.
I reach my room and tug on the doorknob only to stop at the sound of my name being shouted down the hallway after me.
“Emily!”
I spin around and see Alpha Mark coming after me. He is walking quickly, with a purpose, and even from a hundred feet away, I can see his nostrils flaring. He’s obviously angry.
“Oh, Mark,” I say, turning to face him. “Thank goodness you’re here. I just ran out of my room. A huge mouse was in there, giant even! Have you seen Mr. Whiskers? Or perhaps you could kill it for me? Would you like to come inside?” I’m hinting that I mean inside of more than just my room.
Mark stands across from me, his arms folded in front of his massive chest. “Don’t bullshit me, Emily,” he says. “I know you were listening to our private conversation.”
“What private conversation?” I flutter my eyelashes at him, pretending I don’t know what he’s talking about.
“The private conversation the four of us Alphas were having,” he replies.
“Don’t be silly!” I declare. “I didn’t even know the four of you were in Eli’s room.”
He shakes his head at me. “Who said anything about Eli’s room?”
I’ve been caught in a lie, and now I have to find a way to back out of it. “Well, don’t you guys always sit in Eli’s room to talk?”
“I know you were outside the door, Emily. We heard you breathing.” He takes a few steps forward.
I back against the door, bracing my hands against the solid wood as I breathe in such a way that makes my bosom rise and fall above the low neckline of my elegant blue dress. I look extremely fetching in this particular gown, and I know it. I see his eyes lower and feel his heavy gaze on my breasts.
Perhaps I can take advantage of this situation. After all, I have an Alpha all to myself, near my room, and I know things he only dreams of knowing….
“What are you going to do, big boy?” I ask him, looking at him out of the corner of my eye as I turn my face to the side. “Spank me?”
He wrinkles up his nose. “No! But I was thinking of sending you the name of my tailor. You really should do something about the awful fit of that dress. If you paid someone to alter it for you, they did a terrible job. Practically everything is hanging out the top!”
He acts as if he’s never seen breasts before, but then I recall that Rose is rather flat-chested.
I sigh and take my hands off of the door. “Listen, Mark, here’s the deal,” I begin. “I know something that you want to know. And if you want to know what I know you want to know, then you’ll get to know me better. Do you know what I mean?”
The Alpha stares at me for a long moment and then asks, “What?”
Shaking my head, I push my door open. “Come in here for a moment so I can talk to you about that bi–Breeder.” I decide perhaps it’s better not to call her what I want to call her.
He follows me into my room, but I can tell he’s reluctant to do so. “What do you want to tell me about Rose?” he demands.
I take a deep breath and stand in front of him with my hands folded in front of me like I’m about to sing at the Moon Goddess’ temple on a holy day. I used to do that, so I know exactly what one should look like when standing in the proper position.
I used to be much more of a good girl than I am now….
“You want to know what the king has planned for Rose, right?” I ask him.
He nods. “Yes, of course, I do.”
“All right then, my big strapping Alpha,” I say as I run a hand along his arm. He looks at it, and I pull my hand away. “Here’s the deal. I will gladly tell you everything you’ve ever wanted to know about my cousin, King Gene’s, plans for the Breeder. If you….” I wiggle my eyebrows at him, hoping he gets the picture.
“If I….” He wiggles his eyebrows back at me.
“Yes, that’s right,” I tell him, assuming he knows what I’m getting at.
“Okay,” he complies and wiggles them again. I am overjoyed that he has agreed to sleep with me until he demands, “So tell me.”
My forehead puckers. “You have to do it first,” I tell him.
“Yes, I know,” he states firmly, wiggling his eyebrows a third time. “There, I just did it again. Tell me.”
A loud sigh escapes my lips as I look at the floor and shake my head. “No, Alpha! I mean you have to….” I tip my head a bit and make a gesture with the point of my crown at the bed behind me.
“Oh.” He seems confused as he mimics that movement. Is he really that dumb or is he just making fun of me?
“No! You have to fuck me!” I scream at him.
His blue eyes widen–I guess he gets it now. “No way!” he exclaims. “No way in hell I’m doing that, Emily!”
I glare at him. “Oh, you will if you know what’s good for you!” I tell him. “Do you want to know what my cousin has planned for that woman of yours or not?”
His eyes twitch back and forth for a moment before he mutters, “I’ll think about it.”
I can’t help the smile that spreads across my face. “Now, that’s a good Alpha.” I rest my hand on his chest, impressed by the muscle I feel beneath his shirt.
Backing up, Mark says, “Don’t push it.”
With a laugh, I urge him, “Come see me tonight, or the deal is off. And bring all of your toys!”
“I don’t have toys,” he says. “That’s Tristan.”
Trying not to frown that I might’ve picked the wrong Alpha, I reassure him, “Well, I have plenty.” I wink at him. “See you later, big boy.”

*Mark*
I walk briskly back down the hallway, thinking I need to tell the other Alphas what Emily is up to. But they will think I’m insane for even contemplating this.
Am I really thinking about sleeping with Emily in order to find out King Gene’s plans for Rose?
No! I can’t do it!
But maybe I can find another way….
“Think fast!” someone shouts. I turn just in time for a basketball to thump me in the side of the head. A roar of male laughter follows as I swear under my breath.
“Tristan! You asshole!” I yell.
“I told you to think fast!” he insists.
I shake my head at him. “You didn’t say it fast enough.” Either that, or I’m too preoccupied to think straight right now.
“We’re going to go play basketball,” Eli announces. “You wanna come?”
“You can tell us everything you learned about sneaky ass Emily while we play,” Reece adds.
“I didn’t learn anything,” I tell them. It’s not a lie. “Sure, I’ll come.” What else am I going to do?
“Great!” Tristan exclaims, bouncing the basketball on the stone floor as we walk out. “I hope your reflexes catch up to mine before we get out there.”
I think they are about to be bouncing a lot of basketballs off of my cranium.
Stopping by my room, I change clothes really quickly, absently wondering where Rose went. Maybe I should’ve slept with her recently like the other Alphas. Maybe if I had, I wouldn’t be even considering this plan of Emily’s now.
It’s not that I want to sleep with her. The idea puts my body in a full-on twitch. But… I do want to know what Gene has planned. Perhaps I can figure out a way to trick her into telling me.
Once I’m changed, I go outside, and without a word from anyone, I feel a ball bounce off the side of my head.
“Seriously?” I demand.
Tristan laughs. “Sorry–it was an accident.”
I don’t believe him, and I want to take the basketball and see if I can make his stomach look like Rose’s will in a few months by shoving it up his ass, all the way through his intestines.
But instead, I just glare at him, grab the ball, and start the game. I am on Eli’s team, which means I get a chance at revenge by beating Tristan.
But as we play, I’m distracted, and I keep missing shots.
What the hell am I going to do about Emily?
