Pregnant With Four Alphas' Babies: A Reverse Harem Romance Chapter 243: A Whole New Life
*Kelly*
Eli warns me in the mind-link that he’s getting close. I brace myself so I won’t startle and make noise, and when he moves in behind me, ducking down behind the airport’s front desk with me, I nod without looking back at him. I’m too focused on the conversation in front of me.
“When do we get paid?” demands the guy whose name I’d deduced was Ralph, his mouth turned down in a frown.
“I dunno,” says Jim, the other guy I’d been watching. “King Gene said we had to keep ‘em for a while longer.”
“How much longer?” Ralph asks. “I got bills to pay.”
“And I don’t?” asks Jim. “Just shut up and do your job, and the payout will be so much that you’ll never worry about money again.”
Apparently, that’s enough for Eli, who has called in the others and now stands up confidently and walks across the room. Ralph and Jim freeze; it’s obvious that Eli is a powerful Alpha, and they know they’re done for.
“Yeah, you won’t be mind-linking anyone for a long time,” says Eli. I guess he’s blocked them from reaching out to Gene.
Eli nods at Trevor, who leads the frightened shifters off without even requiring handcuffs. They look positively terrified. They should be.
“I kind of feel sorry for them,” I say half-heartedly.
“Yeah, because kidnapping you is such an innocent thing to do,” Eli says with a scowl. “Are you okay?”
“Of course, I am,” I say. “I just wanted to find out what the hell is going on here. I still don’t know, other than realizing that Gene is involved.”
Eli nods. “We’ll get a lot more information out of them back at the castle,” he says. “Is there anyone else here we should worry about?”
“There were some guards down below, but they’re all passed out. You can probably just bring out a team to collect them,” I say.
“The team is already on its way,” he says. “Down below?”
I nod, pointing out into the general area of the airstrip. “There’s some sort of an underground bunker out there where they held us,” I say. “And something weird is going on around here. They’ve held that girl, Kara, down there for years. Is she okay?”
“As good as she can be,” he says. “Let’s get the hell out of here.”
By the time we get outside, other vehicles have arrived, and I show everyone the bunker entrance. Trevor loads Jim and Ralph into an SUV and assigns some guards to watch them while directing a team to get into the bunker.
Eli and I get into another SUV and take off, leaving the teams to deal with the criminal element.
“And I don’t even get a hug,” I say, winking at Eli. I know he’s mad at me for going back to find out what’s going on.
He just shakes his head and looks at the road ahead.

I can’t stop crying. First Tristan comes in with Trisha, and my heart feels whole again. I hold my beautiful baby in my arms and feed her while Tristan sits beside us, one arm wrapped around my shoulder and the other stroking little Trisha’s beautiful curly locks.
We’ve barely gotten settled when Reece comes in, and he lifts little Reeva into his arms. Tristan cradles Trisha on his shoulder to burp her, then stands up so Reece can have his seat while he lightly bounces Trisha across the room.
I giggle through my happy tears. It’s such a beautiful sight to watch such a strong, powerful Alpha be so gentle and caring.
“I’m so glad to see that look on your face, darlin’,” says Reece, gently handing Reeva over to me for her feeding. “You look positively glowing, like the Goddess herself.”
“Shh,” I say. “I’m no goddess, and I don’t want to make her mad now. She’s given me so much, and I’m so grateful to her.”
“So are we,” Tristan whispers from the corner of the room as little Trisha falls asleep in his arms.
Mark walks in the door smiling. “Now, here’s a sight I’ve waited too long to see,” he says.
Tristan immediately shushes him with furrowed eyebrows, then lightly bounces Trisha a little more.
“After all that little girl has been through,” I tell him, “I’m sure she can sleep through anything.”
Tristan laughs a little and sets Trisha down in her little bassinet just as little Reeva has decided she’s already had enough to eat. It’s a challenge to keep four little babies happy, but I wouldn’t trade one second of it for anything in the world.
“I’m so happy that Kelly is fine,” I say. “I feel horrible that we let her rot in that hole while we had to find the babies.”
“I’m sure she completely understands, darlin’,” says Reece. “She knew that these little ones needed us first.”
“I suppose,” I say. “But I still feel bad about making her wait.”
“I guess she’s made a couple of new friends,” says Mark.
“I’m excited to meet them,” I say. “And I’m so sorry about the mess I made for the maids. You’ve told them I’ve apologized, right?”
Mark chuckles. “Don’t worry, baby,” he says. “When I told them what you did, they all volunteered to have the honor of cleaning up after the, and I quote, ‘badass future Luna.’”
All of us laughed at that. I still can’t believe that was actually me who took revenge on Barbara, but I guess I’m stronger than I’ve ever known I could be, especially when someone messes with my babies. Retta is in the dungeon now, and no doubt she’s heard what I did to Barbara. I’m going to let her stew on that for a bit before I pay her a visit.
I’ve got more important things to take care of first—my beautiful babies and my wonderful Alphas.
A moment later, the gravity of all of it sinks in. “Future Luna,” I say, and I let out a breath at the thought of it. It’s all a bit overwhelming. As the daughter of an Alpha like my dad, I’d never imagined that much would come from my life other than scrubbing sewers and doing everyone else’s dirty work. But here I am, with so many blessings from the Moon Goddess surrounding me.
There was only one thing missing, and I barely had the thought in my mind before he walked in the door.
Eli.
I smile wide and he matches it as he approaches, his beautiful red hair glistening in the soft lighting of the nursery. I’m still so mad that those awful people shaved little Ethan’s head. It was so sweet how he matched his dad! I hope it all grows back very soon.
Eli walks around to the other side of the glider chair and gives me a soft kiss, being careful to not disturb little Matthew, who’s currently taking his turn at feeding. Eli then walks over and scoops up little Ethan, who has just woken up with all the commotion.
“Where’s Kelly?” I ask.
“She’s a little… dirty,” Eli says. “She wants to make sure her new friends are settled and then take a quick shower before coming to see the pups. You know she’ll want to hold every one of them.”
“I can’t believe she hasn’t met them yet!” I say. “So much has happened in so little time.”

Kelly’s eyes sparkle as she walks into the room. She looks fantastic, without a single scratch on her, but I know she’s been through so much.
I’m holding Matthew at the time, so he’s the first little one to make her acquaintance.
“He’s the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen!” she says, taking him gently into her arms.
“They’re all so beautiful,” I say. “I can’t believe how lucky I am.”
Reece hands me a tissue, about the hundredth one I’ve gone through since all my Alphas have gathered around me.
Kelly coos at Matthew while she walks around to the bassinets to meet the other babies. As she stops by each one, their fathers introduce them.
“They’re all so incredibly perfect,” she says, handing Matthew to Mark so she can hold Ethan. “Come to Auntie Kelly!” she half-whispers. “Where the hell is his red hair?”
We proceed to tell her the story of those criminals who stole him, and I can see that she hugs him a little tighter.
The door cracks open, and Shelby walks in saying, “Now, why are we having a party without inviting Aunt Shelby and Uncle Adam?”
Adam comes in right behind her. The nearest baby is Trisha, and Tristan reluctantly hands her over so Shelby can cradle her in the corner rocking chair.
I look around at my huge new family and the tears start falling again.
“Darlin’,” says Reece, “I’m going to need to get you a new case of tissues.”
I laugh, and so does everyone else. “I can’t help it,” I say. “I just… I just can’t say how happy I am right now.”
“So are we, little flower,” says Tristan. “So are we.”
I take another look around the room at my beautiful children, my handsome Alphas, and my good friends, who have become a solid, supportive family for me.
I know that there’s nothing that can happen to any of us that can ever keep us from being together. I’m blessed by the Moon Goddess in more ways than I can count, and I’m so excited for the future of my family.
Being a Breeder to four alphas has changed my life… forever.
