Hearing Brandon talk to me like that, I wanted to walk away immediately. I didn't want to argue with him about this.

Honestly, I was already planning to leave, but Brandon blocked my way and said, "Caroline, since we're both here today, why don't we clear the air? I still want to see the kids. No matter what, I'm still their father."

I turned to see Lowell walking over.

"I just came to the police station last time. I can't risk going back and getting another lecture... Why did you call me here?" He said this right in front of me, and I listened curiously.

"In that case, don't blame us for calling the cops on you again and again."

I looked up to see Royce standing in front of me.

He instinctively grabbed my hand, standing by my side.

This was the first time Brandon and Royce faced off directly.

They had seen each other before, like when Brandon broke into my house and we sent him to the police station. Royce was with me then too.
