I frowned. "She's so young, she needs to go to school... It's probably just the adjustment to a new city."

"I think so too, but... I'm not sure how to handle it. Briar seems increasingly strange to me."

"Kids are like that, they have their own little thoughts." I shook my head. "When I have time, I can help you check out some schools."

"I'd appreciate that... Actually, I think Briar and Brett should be in the same school, but when I mentioned it last time, you seemed unhappy."

Leo frowned, clearly bothered by the topic.

I nodded, not pressing further or responding to his comment.

"Old accounts? Didn't he work at your company before? How can he investigate without your consent?" Leo was surprised.

"Exactly. So he's been hanging around the company, probably hiring hackers or trying to bribe remaining employees."

I sighed. "There are still some people left from when Brandon was in charge. I can't replace them all at once."

A company overhaul required new blood, but I couldn't recruit that many people right now.

As long as Brandon's people weren't too problematic, I would let them work for now.
