I realized we hadn't ordered yet, so I pulled Royce to the counter to get two bubble teas.

After sitting down, I casually mentioned this.

Royce immediately held my hand and asked seriously, "Why have you had a rough time?"

"Because someone hasn't been paying attention to me lately."

He was busy when I called him, and he barely replied my messages.

This was the first time since we got together that he had ignored me for so long.

"Even back in school, you never left me hanging for this long." I felt a bit hurt, "Is it because you proposed and I said we should talk about it later, so you're mad?"

Royce sighed deeply. "Not mad, just a bit confused."
