I said, "This looks like a restaurant... but I don't recognize it. What's she doing there?"

From the photos, it seemed like Renee was a regular.

It reminded me of Aurelia's place in Oceancrest City.

"Is there any connection between this restaurant and the one in Oceancrest City?" I felt a possible lead, and my tone shifted immediately.

Royce patted my hand, his eyes filled with admiration. "Caroline, you're always so quick to catch on."

"Don't joke around right now... just tell me!" I lightly pinched his arm.

Royce gave a wry smile but didn't push my hand away. "This place is called Savory Haven, and it's owned by the same person who owns the one in Oceancrest City. It's not obvious at first glance, but it's true."

It was clear Royce had done his homework.

I asked, "Are they a chain?"

"No, at first we thought it was just a coincidence because of the same name. Even if it were a chain, it would typically expand from the main location. Oceancrest City is so far from here, why would they open a restaurant here? But later, we found out the person in charge is a relative, and everything made sense."

But the person Aurelia interacted with and the person Renee interacted with must be different.

I quickly asked, "So who is Renee waiting for? Is this the only clue we have right now?"

"Caroline, don't worry. I'll keep investigating and find Renee as soon as possible. You should stay in touch with Simon and the others, and try to find any clues."

Kelly sighed. "Alright, I'll call Brett's teacher and ask. I can't stop worrying."

Kelly had always been very concerned about Brett, especially after the kidnapping incident. She felt guilty and cried a lot.

"What did the teacher say?" Seeing Kelly's expression, I felt this might be really serious!

"Classmates? Why haven't I received any calls from the teacher?"I immediately stood up. "Why didn't the teacher tell us anything?"

"Caroline, calm down. The teacher said it was just a minor conflict between classmates, and after mediation, it was resolved, so they didn't inform the parents to avoid causing worry."

How could I not worry? For the first time, I hated someone making decisions for me.

Kelly looked at my distressed face and said, "Brett only tells you the truth, probably doesn't want to worry me, so he doesn't say much. You should talk to him tonight. If the school issue is serious, I'll go to the teacher for an explanation!"
