“Are you sure she said Draxton?” Caspian asked as he paced their bedroom. His lips pursed and hand on his chin. He only stopped his pacing to ask Alexia questions.

“Yes I’m sure.” Alexia had been surprised to hear the name. Caspian had mentioned it before but she didn’t say anything in front of the other ladies.

After they had wrapped up lunch, Alexia linked Caspian that she needed to speak with him when he had finished.

When he arrived at their chambers later that day, she relayed their conversations and thus beginning his pacing. He was immediatly on guard as if his home had been invaded.

She wondered if he would leave a hole in the rug as he went back and forth.

“And he is her uncle?” He asked. Stopping and turning to look at her for confirmation.

“Yes” The answer to a question that had already been asked multiple times. Her eyes watching his motions as he resumed his pacing. Back and forth. Back and forth.

“It could be a coincidence?” The confidence lacking in his voice speaking mostly to himself.

“Maybe I should try to get to know her better?” She offered.

A low growl was the only response he gave.

“Then how can we find out for sure if she is involved or not? Or if its the same Draxton?” A hand placed on her hip.

Another growl of frustration.

She threw up her hands in defeat. Abi had seemed so meek and mild that it seemed preposterous that she could ever be involved with something that could cause so much devastation.

"Ok." Caspain stopped to stand in front of her. "First, we do not tell anyone. Second, we make sure this is just coincidence."

"Third?" A change in pitch in her voice.

"Third, I pay a visit to the dungeons." He voice was wrapped in violence as if he had zoned onto a threat.

With a kiss on the cheek, Capsian left his mate and headed straight to the dungeons. He was coiled in pent up energy. He linked Gabe to meet him.

Through the halls and down the long staircase that led to the dungeons, he made his way through the gloomy coridor. The smell of musk was suffocating. The dungeons were old, built by his ancestors many moons ago. He did not bother to update them, if a wolf was placed in his cells he wanted them to fear what could happen to them.

Guards stood at attention. Their backs extra stiff from the look on his face. He walked till he stood in front of a door. "Open it."

The guard fumbled for a key before swinging the door wide.

The prisoner that remained inside scurried across the floor to the back corner as if he was trying to evaporate into thin air. The unlucky soul that Caspian had found first between the two rogue prisoners he held in the dungeons.

With one hand, Caspian picked him up by the neck and dragged him out of the cell. The gurgling noise of the prisoner struggling to breath echoed throughout the corridor. Other prisoners did not dare to make any noise. The dragging continued till the king found a vacant interogation room where he through the prisoner into immediately, hitting the wall.

"I am in no mood to play games." A chair thrown againist the wall crashing above the head of shaking wolf. The time in the dungeon had taken it's toll on his body. Weak and scrawny. Reeking of the odor of the dungeons.

The prisoner struggled to breathe.

"You and I are going to have a chat about Draxton." Each word clipped.

"I told you all I know." He rasped before the king flung him againist another wall.

Enzo watched on as the king released his pent up rage.

"Are you going to let him kill the rogue before we get the information we need?" He asked as he breezed passed his friend.

"Better the rogue than the furniture. Mahogany tables are expensive." Enzo said not moving a muscle to get between the king and his prey.

Gabe arrived just in time as Capsian's temper had almost gotten the best of him. Barely being able to convince the king to let him handle the interrogation, Gabe began crouching over the broken body of the rogue. "So tell me about Draxton's connection to the eastern Kingdom."

"The eastern Kingdom?" Barely able to raise his head in surpise, blood running down his temple. "I don't know anything about Draxton and the eastern kingdom.

"I think you know more than you even know, so what do you know?." A silver dagger on sheathed for Gabe's hip as he twirled it between his fingers.

"He was exiled from his pack! He wants to take over the kingdom!" Eagerly giving information.

"What else?" The dagger was used to clean beneath the beta's nails.

"He's crazy! A-Always rambling about things that do not make any sense." Eyes darting to the dagger.

"What kind of things?" Slow calm questions.

"Just things about the moon and how it is all powerful. I always assumed he was obsessed with the goddess. A loyal worshiper."

"So he is religious?" The doubt in Gabe’s voice.

"I-I guess so." The prisoners eyes darted back and forth in uneasiness. Looking for the answers Gabe sought

"What else?" Gabe spured him to continue.

"What else? That's it!" Sincerity in his eyes. "I did not interact with him personally that much. I was a nobody."

"I think you did." A low huff of exasperation escaping between Gabe's lips, holding the knife into the light causing the rogue to shrink away.

"What else do you want me to tell you? Like the one time he was drinking and rambling." The prisoner was grasping at straws trying to escape his captor.

Pausing. Gabe assessed the prisoner. letting him catch his breath as the bruises Caspian had inflicted had began to rise to the rise.

"Rambling? Rambling about what?"

"Nothing that made sense. He kept slurring his words." Panting the words.

"What were the words?" The interogation pushed forward.

"Just 'moon of the white blood'. They were very slurred so it was hard to understand." A confused look on his face as he answered.

"Why do you care about the ramblings of a drunk male?" Sweat streaking down the scrunched brows of the rogue.

"That's none of your concern." The words flat as Gabe rose from his position, allowing the guards to come in and treat him. "Get the other one." An order to the guards.
