Werewolf
The White Wolf Chapter 60: After Arguing
The next morning, her body ached from being taken over and over throughout the night. Her sex was swollen from where he filled and stretched her. The entire room smelled of the tangling of their bodies. Caspian’s scent clung to her just as the sheet that was wrapped around Alexia’s body did. The stretch Alexia did as she awoke hurt but felt good at the same time. Her muscles were swollen not from her run but from the way her mate had moved her body.
She was still hungry for more, for him. “Never run off.” He ordered over and over as he pounded into her. “You are mine.” He claimed as his seed spilled into her before he hardened once more, taking her into a new position.
The thoughts in her mind returning to the night before had her wishing her mate was still with her.
Since he was already about his duties, she linked him images to what she wished to do with him later. A sensual growl followed through the mating bond causing her to shiver in excitement. Reaching between her thighs with her fingers, she touched that sensitive area he had devoured the night before. The skin was still feeling the effects of the continuous activities of the night before but was willing. She could not fathom how her body was ready for more so quickly.
Her need made her tempted to run off into the woods again so her mate could chase her down. Thoughts swam through her head of him bending her over a boulder as he mounted her from behind. She would cry out in pleasure at the act. His flesh against hers. The sound of their bodies colliding against each other echoed through the forest. The birds would fly away in fear as he growled.
The thought had her plunging her own two fingers into her core, imagining they were his as she had ridden him the night before till she reached her climax.
Laying on the bed, her chest heaved as she breathed in and out. Slowly her body settled once more.
Finally rallying her strength, she emerged from their bed. Taking a shower she washed away the scent of Caspian that clung to her like the embrace of her lover.
Once she was dressed, she decided to embark on her day but was startled when she opened the door to her quarters.
“Oh! You’re here? Already?” Alexia asked as she came face to face with Harley who it seemed had been patiently waiting for outside of her room. Alexia pondered how long she had been waiting for her.
Dressed in a smart suit and comfortable shoes, she beamed at the queen with a notepad tucked under her arm.
“I am eager to assist!” Harley said with a smile and enthusiasm that made Alexia’s already tired eyes more fatigued.
"Um, Alright then." Stunned not sure of what to do, as her brain was still not fully functioning yet.
“How may I assist?” Persistent as ever.
Alexia would need caffeine before she could even begin to process where to begin her day or what she would need from Harley.
“Coffee.” A demand and plead all in one.
Immediately snapping into action as if she has been waiting her whole life for this one moment, “Where should I have it delivered to?” Harley asked.
While she was pleased with her for quickly springing into action, Harley's question had Alexia contemplating. Her room still smelled like sex so that was a no go and there was no way she would bring another she-wolf into a room that smelled like her mate's arousal. Her office was still under construction and would be uninhabitable.
“Eh hm.” Her lips pursed. “The library.”
As they wove through the palace, its halls were much more lively than the night before. Servants hustled about, pausing their work to give the queen a bow. Harley was hot on the queen's heels.
It did not take long for their coffee to arrive after making their way to the library. Harley served the queen first before claiming her cup of coffee. By the red in Harley's eyes, Alexia guessed this was not her first cup of the day.
In the library, Alexia took up a whole table researching the different breeds of stags. Harley while eager to help, offered no information as the only thing she knew about stags was that they had four legs and antlers. This ended her vast knowledge of the subject.
The encounter she had with the stag, stayed in the back of her mind. Due to their nightly activities, it had slipped her mind to ask her mate. A blush crept up her body as she remembered but tried to shake it off with a cough.
With a stretch of the arm, Alexia reached over to take another drink of her coffee not bothering to look up from the book she was reading. The Library housed so many books she hoped one would help her discover answers either to find more about the stag she had seen or to help her solve the riddle of the rogue's words.
“Is there any particular objective we have in our research?” Harley asked hoping to be more useful.
"Do you know anything about animal migrations?" Alexia asked but only received a quirk of an eyebrow in response. "That's what I thought." Defeat in her voice.
Harley was covered in dust from perusing the bookshelves as she set another stack of books in front of the queen. She set out to search for more books only returning with another stack for the Queen's table. The books she grabbed were an assortment of the different animal diets, breeding patterns, to hunting guides. If the book was about any type of animal Harley would grab it just in case.
"Harley? Do you know where the books on music are located?" Alexia asked her assistant.
"Music? I believe they near the poetry but I will find out." She said before leaving to search once again and only returning when she had another stack of books to add to the table. Alexia assessed the growing pile, they would need another table at this rate. She had a hunch but did not want to speak it aloud.
They hardly spoke but passed the morning in easy silence. Harley fetching and returning books for Alexia.
"If you can find anything about folklore, please bring it," Alexia Instructed her when she returned with another book before leaving once again.
Alexia was left alone to her thoughts as she turned the pages some threatening to fall apart at her touch. Caspian had left before she awoke again and she missed him. They passed the morning in the library and did not stop till lunch. Once again, Harley ordered food to be brought to the library for them.
Harley had tried to eat separately from the queen but Alexia was persistent and felt eating alone would be much too sad for her soul.
As Harley departed from the queen's presence, Alexia drifted back into her thoughts. She thought of the words they had extracted from the rogue and what they could mean. She thought about the stag, rotating between thinking the two were interconnected and of no relation at all.
the library door opened with a clatter. The sound of the assistant dropping a book followed before she scurried back to the queen's side with a look of relief on her face to see the queen mother.
