“I motion the she wolf and her…. puppies…. Leave immediately.” Said Alpha Tim, pounding his fist on the table. “This is no place for a woman!” He snarled, getting agreeing jeers from many of the others.

They were basically about ready to riot until the council as well as the advisor had to snarl at them to be quiet. They couldn’t hear anything that he said at first, because of the ruckus that was made.

“The informal motion is denied.” Said the Head Advisor tiredly, with his eyes white. Alpha Phillip seemed to be bored and tired of all of us today, and I couldn’t blame the old man. Meetings like this were usually every six months; we’ve had at least three or four in that same length of time.

“This meeting was created that the excessively large pack of BeastMoon be discussed, not comments on who should and should not be here.” Said my father on my left. My Uncle was red eyed on my right, where my mate would be…. I was thankful that they came with me, even though they didn’t have to. As the Crown Prince, he ruled us all in grandfather’s stead, and my uncle was just as powerful. If dad said anything, honestly, they would have to go by his ruling. It was really that he never did that because he didn’t like the pissing off the council.

“I motion it be divided, all Betas become Alphas, and BeastMoon can remain with the she wolf, and her puppies.” Chuckled Alpha Nickolas of InkMoon. He came all the way from Chicaga for this. The bastard. I held in a snarl, but the glare I gave was enough to kill.

“That is entirely too extreme,” Growled Ryan, standing up. “And as you know, most of them would not be able to hold up against a true Alpha. I motion we leave his pack Alone.” He was motioned to sit down and his neighbor, Alpha Paul of VioletMoon, scoffed.

“You only say that because you fear a dead man.” He said with a frown, sipping his coffee. “He’s worm food.”

“Look at his pups,” he motioned my basket filled with my wiggling, slightly squeaking babies. “I dare you to tell me in two decades that at least one of those pups won’t be a Prince; one capable of getting revenge on anyone who contributed to touching their father’s legacy.”

“That doesn’t matter.” Said Alpha Cecil. “And they should be destroyed carrying the mark of the Horned One. Look at the horns, they should not exist. It is law” He snarled, and my Uncle Connor reacted before any of us could.

“You don’t have to worry of the Horned One if a finger is laid on their fur!” He snarled with an intensity I’d never seen. He was always calm, yet here he was, with a boom that made me think grandpa was in the room. Every head, even the High Advisor’s was bowed. My father and me were proud, sitting high. As royal blood, we were immune.

Tyson tried getting out the basket, and I let him crawl on the table to my uncle. He picked him up, and held him in his arms, and Kaizen crawled to me while Grace went to her grandpa. They were sleepy, but didn’t like being around so many strange smells and noise.

“Impressive brother.” Said dad, holding my now sleeping pup in his large hands. He really nearly hid her in his claws, feeling protective of his grandpup.

“Thank you.” He said clearing his throat. I didn’t know what to make of them so casual, but I would let them take the lead on this. They intimidated where I no longer could. If my mate were at my side… they would have never said anything so bold.

“That’s enough.” Said Alpha Phillip. “My ruling, for Lady knows the sake of peace, is to leave the pack of BeastMoon alone. His pups are pardoned, so they will not be a topic. Also, his pups are his heirs, they will become the Alpha, Beta, and Gamma of this pack, and if anyone is stupid enough to fight a wolf born only the wolf, don’t call me when you’re ripped to shreds.” He said in agitation. He shook his head, rubbing his temples. The elder had a headache from us, and there was an uproar.

“This is an outrage, who holds a territory for a pup?” Snarled some of the Alphas, but it was my turn to have my outburst.

“These ‘pups’ are our future. They Will be raised and grow to be powerful warriors, though now they don’t look it. Now they’re adorable and squishy… but they won’t be soon. If I were you, I wouldn’t cause any of them to have a hatred, but I can’t control any of you. All of you are bigger and stronger than me, but what do I know, I was only mated to the Beast, a scary campfire story. One no one wanted to believe was real… I wonder how many scary stories these pups will create if they grow to have a vendetta.” I said this calmly, and I didn’t yell nor act out loudly…. And the room was silent. They held stern faces, knowing that I was RIGHT.

“These pups would grow to be the next Alphas… ones who are horned wolves and the King’s direct blood” Said dad casually…. I outwardly shook a second at that thought, and all the elders looked at me. Even I was a little afraid of what I birthed…. But they would love their mother. They would protect their pack and mates.

I looked my small pup Tyson in the eyes, they were still gray-blue. They were full and their little bellies were fat as they slipped in and out of nap time, because we were too loud. “Izzy your words hold more power than you know.” Said my father with concern.

“I know dad….” I said quietly, putting them in the basket. Alphas gave me looks of hatred, but they would have to be silent. I still was a princess, and I hated pulling that card, but I would for my children. The fear of Bryson the Beast, the Bloodborne One, Son of God of Judgement Zuviel, the Horned One, still rang deep into their minds. They would not challenge my father or uncle either. Nor would they try to touch them since they Know that they have multiple kings’ favor.

That was also important. They needed all these things… the last thing I needed was them stolen out my bed or killed when we had our guards down. Even now, my uncle never relaxed in his chair. He was waiting for someone to try him. I’d never seen his eyes golden until now.

With my pups safe and my pack protected from these meatheads, I relaxed only a little bit. I had the basket so close to me that I could reach down and pick them up, but I chose not to. The meeting ran by quickly after that, and we went home.

Next week, we would bury Bryson as he is, with no preservatives. He would rot without the ice, but I was slowly becoming ok with it… I can’t hold on to his body, it isn’t fair to him, because he won’t be able to rest without rights.

I held my face stern, and my gaze cold at the men who would try to take what was mine, and they sat uncomfortably around the oval table, refusing to acknowledge my power any longer than they had to.

We left with me in the middle, holding my children, and my father in front, with my uncle behind me. I rode in the backseat while they were in dad’s new blue Camaro. He had given Baby Blue to my brother, but honestly, there was nothing I could do with a muscle car as a mother now, but I wouldn’t have driven it like a madman anyway. I just wanted it because it meant so much to dad…. And I looked up to dad. As a kid I wanted to be just like him, down to the beers with Uncle Connor on Fridays.

I would never tell him this though, it would blow his head up too large to drive, but I think he knew. I think that’s why he punished me so much as a kid… that and I was a little shit who chewed all the furniture.

I wondered how long they would teethe, since they were only the wolf. I also assume that they would be … so much more destructive that they wouldn’t have human forms until puberty. I would also have to probably organize teaching them wolf mind linking, and understanding English. They would have to be bilingual at a young age, instead of learning it at home later after they shift.

They would also be incredibly strong. They already smell Charred, meaning they already have their powers. I don’t know how I would raise them with power like that… I would have to ask Eric what he did with dad and my uncle, because I wouldn’t be able to dominate them. I would have to raise them with compassion and reason, not force. Their strong bond with me would probably be the only thing that would save any poor bastard that pisses them off.
