I wailed in agony as I laid there, praying it would all be over, but he wasn’t quite ready to go.

"You were going to ruin everything for me, you know. Do you realize how long I’ve been waiting and how hard I’ve worked to get to this point?" He sighed and said, "And you were going to ruin it all," while pointing at me.

"I don’t even think you will be of any service to me anymore," he grumbled under his breath, "now lie there and suffer," and then laughed when he saw me in this state. I couldn’t understand why he was so upset with me.

If it was the cheating alone, I would have understood, but he had been cold and brutal to me since the day we got married.

He looked at the blood between my legs and said, "I will now lose my authority over you. Hm!" He paced agitatedly and said, "I need to play the major card immediately."

It wasn't the knife in my stomach, but the beatings had already caused me enough damage.

"Even if you get out of here, I need to find a way to make sure you never return to our lives again," he grunted.

"What did I do---to deserve all this? What did I do wrong?" I made an effort to stifle my speech. He had gone really overboard today, which is strange because I knew it wasn’t because I had cheated on him.

He halted in front of me and knelt down, groaning, "What have you done?" His voice grew louder, and he said, "It’s not even you, but since she got away, you had to pay the price."

Who got away?

I raised my face, and our eyes met. He had tears of agony filling his eyes.

"Don’t think you are a victim. Everyone in this fucking pack is a killer," he yelled, and it was the first time that I noticed how he was acting.

"You all killed her," he grunted, poking his finger in my cheek.

"I’ll see to it that there is no place left for you," He stood up and moved out of the room.

"Please t--ake me to the hospital," I still requested, and he stopped at the exit to turn around and look at me.

"They never took her to the hospital," he shrugged and left.

"Ughhh!" I gave in to the suffering when it got intolerable.

I bit my bottom lip and said, "I can’t die here. I won’t die."

I could hear my voice getting heavier. Even I felt the goosebumps spread across my skin from the strength of my voice.

I started to feel lighter, but as my bones started to crack a bit, I suddenly felt a sharp ache.

"Arghhh!" My nails were growing, and I also noticed that my wrist was twitching and making noises. I was transitioning, and I understood what was going on.

I clenched my mouth shut and groaned, "mmmm."

I took several hours even to change, but I was now standing.

I stood up as I felt an odd heat inside of me. I believed I could take on the entire world. I am confident that my transformation is complete, and as I made my way to the door, I learned what sort of werewolf I was.

My wolf had fiery red eyes that shone through. My physique was somewhat stronger and larger than any she-wolf I had ever seen, and my tail was spiked.

She was not only stunning but also incredibly powerful, and I was astounded by my wolf. I surged for the door and busted it down because I realized it would take more than a closed door to keep me inside.

I was beginning to wonder if I was even an omega.

I howled, which I’m sure the entire pack heard, the instant I stepped outside and felt the fresh air on my face. Due to the death of my child, my body was still in anguish, and going to the hospital was the only way for it to start getting better.

I don’t have to ask anyone to take me to the hospital anymore, at least.

I ran for hours until I started to lose energy. The finest part of working with my wolf was the emotion. It gave me some time to unwind after the recent loss I had to deal with.

I no longer had any of the initial vigour I had, and I was now barely able to crawl to the road where I could call for assistance.

My wolf let out a ‘Ahhh’ and began changing back. Returning to human form caused every bone in my body to hurt.

The awakening of my wolf astonished me. Sadly, it didn’t occur when I could rejoice in it.

My eyes started to close, and I laid my body on the pavement. Now that the joy of having my wolf is over, the pain of losing my kid has overtaken me once again.

"Hey! "Look at that she-wolf," I heard someone say as they turned to look at me. Most likely, a couple was out for a stroll. Once she arrived at me, her steps grew louder.

"Let’s take her to the hospital," the girl said as she tightly encircled my body in her big coat.

After realising someone had discovered me, I fell asleep. I let go of my resistance to sleep and relaxed my muscles, since the worry of going unnoticed had subsided.

By the time I began to awaken, I could smell an odd medication fragrance.

My body ached, and I was unable to move, letting out an "Ahhh!" with my lips.

I was unable to fall asleep once more due to the machine’s blaring. I was trying to remain awake so I could look around.

"W----here am I?" After much effort, I managed to form a sentence. The machine next to my bed was beeping, and I was wearing a hospital gown. Even with my wolf at this time, my body was still considerably weaker.

The woman standing next to me was the doctor checking on me.

"Stay resting, you are not healed yet," She didn’t appear to be a threat to me, and the concern written all over her face showed that.

"What the hell happened to me?" I said, as tears started to well up in my eyes and itch. Although my mind was working hard to suppress the recollection for my own safety, it appeared as though I was somehow aware of the memory that may have revealed what had occurred to me.

"You had an abortion," As a tear ran down my cheek, she made a mournful tongue click.
