Werewolf
Rejected Their Broken Luna Chapter 74: Chap-74*Bite My Ni*ple*
**Cynthia Dion:**
"Arghhhhhh!" I screamed when he bit my nipple. Soon after hearing me cry, he gently licked my tits to calm me down.
I moaned when he gently kissed my cleavage and ran up to pass kisses all over my mark.
He stopped when his phone kept ringing in his back pocket. He raised his face and watched my lips for a few seconds before he answered the call. He didn’t get off me; his eyes were still wandering on my face.
"What happened, Maleeka?" he inquired, and soon his expression shifted, a slight frown creasing his face.
"What?" He shut his eyes and clenched his jaw.
I noticed he shifted his body slightly, creating space between us.
"I'll handle everything. Please don't cry, alright?" His voice lost some of its spark after the call.
He ended the call and, without wasting a moment, he moved away from me and leaped out of the bed.
I sensed that something had occurred, so I followed him, grabbing a gray hoodie from the closet.
He paced around nervously, his hand raking through his hair. My shirt remained tucked in his pocket, swaying as he moved about.
"Is she okay?" I inquired when he remained silent for a few minutes.
"You tell me," he paused and turned towards me, "where's your phone?" Instead of addressing his previous statement, he continued with his questioning.
"I don't have it with me. They didn't give it back to me after the wedding," I replied truthfully.
He began to search the room, as if he didn't quite believe me.
"You don't believe me?" I asked, feeling disbelief wash over me. But it wasn't the right question for the moment. None of us trusted each other. To me, he was the person who sought revenge for his sister by wrecking my life, and to him, I was the one who disrupted his and his sister's lives by playing games and trying to take Mr. Holt away from Maleeka.
I sat on the bed, observing him search the room. I wanted him to investigate thoroughly, and then, when he couldn't find anything, I planned to confront him. He would appear foolish then, or so I thought. However, my confidence was shattered when he reached into my school bag and pulled out my phone. My heart sank in my chest at that moment. I stepped away from the bed, frowning, trying to comprehend what had just transpired.
"This is your phone, isn't it?" He waved it in front of my face, nodding in realization.
"I have no idea where it came from," I mumbled in confusion, attempting to retrieve my phone from his grasp as he began to unlock it.
"Oh! It's got fingerprint protection," he remarked, trying to make me appear dishonest for claiming that my father didn't permit me to carry my phone. Yet here I was, with my phone and a fingerprint lock.
"Unlock it," he handed it to me, but I hesitated. I was sure I'd never set a passcode for it; my father never allowed that.
"It definitely isn't my finger--" I stopped speaking when I saw that he wasn't convinced. So I pressed my finger against the screen to prove I was telling the truth.
And what do you know? It unlocked.
"Really?" He grabbed it from my hands, shooting an angry look my way for catching me in a lie twice in a row.
"Atticus! I honestly don't know where it came from. You have to believe me," I pleaded, my nerves getting the best of me as I watched him inspect the phone.
He paused just as he found something and then turned the screen toward me.
"What's this?" he inquired, displaying a text conversation between Mr. Holt and me from a day ago.
"Allow me to read it aloud for you," he took the phone back and began reading it.
"Mr. Holt, I heard you're accompanying Maleeka to a doctor's appointment? Ensure you persuade her to consider taking birth control pills, or if there's any unexpected news, you know your way around changing her decision. I'm confident you can handle it. After all, you wouldn't want to disappoint me, would you?" He scoffed as he finished reading it, and I couldn't have been more stunned.
"All that innocent act you put on, and then you play the victim -- no matter how many times you get caught in a lie, you just never seem to feel any shame. You keep on going, wrecking lives and--" He paused, overcome with anger, and turned, throwing my phone onto the bed.
"This is all a lie. Mr. Holt must have used my phone to text himself," I stammered, shaking as I tried to explain. My phone had been in my bag the entire time. There was no way.
"Really? And how did he unlock it?" Atticus confronted me with a great deal of anger this time. "I've asked you before about who Mr. Holt was to you, and you told me he was your friend; then later, you claimed he meant nothing and that you had lied to me. But then you married him and insisted he was your second-chance partner. Can't you see why it's so hard to believe you? Especially when many have witnessed you walking around kissing him after midnight?" He yelled in my face and then seized my arms in frustration, saying, "I shouldn't have been involved, but here I was, making out with someone who's ruining my sister's life. I'm such an idiot!" He pushed me back but then held me again, his grip rough and tight, almost causing me pain.
"That damned council calls me an alpha without a spine because I defended you!" he shouted in my face, shaking my body. Then, he abruptly stopped frowning and gazed deeply into my eyes. "I know how to punish you."
I watched as he drew me closer and then mumbled, "I, alpha Atticus Snow, accept you as my mate." He finished, but I still wasn't sure what he was trying to do with this. He had rejected me previously but out of the fear of getting weaker by accepting his rejection, I had delayed. But why the hell was he accepting me again?
"And from today onward, you'll watch me with tears in your eyes as I'm with everyone but you," he declared.
