Werewolf
Rejected Their Broken Luna Chapter 212: Chap-212*The Real Alpha Female*
Cynthia Dion:
"Enzo! Wow! I didn’t expect to see you today," Atticus hugged his friend and whispered something in his ear before stepping out of the way. Our spanking session was interrupted by the arrival of his friends.
I furrowed my brows as I tried to understand why he would be so sneaky with him.
"I know. I have apologized already and I won’t show any disrespect," Enzo stepped away from him and slapped his chest, revealing the secret gossip to be Atticus warning him not to misbehave with me.
Mr. Holt had sat down before us to not miss out on anything. From the smirk on his lips, I began to wonder if he was expecting some arguments.
"So," Enzo sat down while Atticus pulled my chair like a chairman and helped me sit down before he took a seat himself.
"Hey," Before Enzo could continue, Maleeka walked out of the mansion to welcome and greet Enzo. The two hugged, and after everybody had sat down, I saw Enzo turn to face me.
My muscles stiffened at the attention. Even Atticus seemed on the edge, ready to interrupt if Enzo had come here to somehow start bullying me again for no reason.
"I have been doing some digging on your past," as soon as Enzo said that, a gasp heaved across my lips.
Atticus suddenly decided to lean back and hunch over, staring at Enzo.
I was confused and lost as to why Enzo would even do such a thing.
"Remember how you were able to beat down Rosalie and so many others during a match?" As Enzo continued, instead of worrying why he needed to look into my past, I focused on what he had found out.
"Yeah?" I replied, wondering if it was about my wolf.
"There is no way an omega can fight like that," he commented, but before he could say more, Zeon jumped in.
"It can happen sometimes given how much the others are participating," he shrugged.
I could tell right away that he didn’t like the idea of me being powerful or good at strength.
"That’s true, but in her case, it turns out to be much more than that. What I’m going to tell you will blow your mind, but it’s important that you know who you truly are," Enzo’s words piqued my curiosity.
I gulped and erected my spine, waiting for him to continue talking.
"The man you used to call your father was not your father," he uttered, and the world shook from under my feet.
"I--," I only opened my mouth when Enzo added.
"You were the lost daughter of the alpha of a faraway pack called The Dark Moon Pack," my emotions were all over the place as he continued to tell me about who my father was.
"But mom never----oh! Is that why he never let me speak to mom?" I asked myself as I gasped.
She would always stay in the room and leave the house from the backdoor, as she was not allowed to see me. I was told she was very sick, and our communication can get me sick as well. She would only leave the house to go to the doctors, but now I don’t believe she was sick and only going out to the hospital.
"Alpha Gillard was a nice man, but he was accused of stealing from the Royal lockers for his pack. That was untrue, and he was proven innocent after years, but by then, he had passed away," Enzo paused to check on me. I hadn’t been able to raise my eyes.
All the childhood memories now make sense. But what stinks is that I can’t even meet my real father anymore.
"Alpha Gillard and your mother were mates. After your mom had you, the pack began to face troubles, and then she had to run away when the pack was under attack. That’s when Mr. Dion found your mother. He lured her into his home, where he kept her trapped by using her secret about her association with a traitor for years. He even got her pregnant against her will with Mara. And then, when Alpha Gillard’s name was cleared, he feared your mother would leave him and go back to settle in her pack. So he----," Enzo didn’t even have to add more to let me know what happened to my mother.
"Your mother tried her best to get any help she could find but failed. After finding out about all that---I realized maybe your wolf never wanted to admit that she is not an omega but an alpha," He explained, but at this point, I couldn’t even blame my wolf.
The moment she woke up, she fell into Zeon’s trap.
She didn’t even have any time to process who she was. All this new information had left me baffled.
It appeared that all this time I could have avoided so much pressure had I just complained about Mr. Dion, took my sister, and left. Since he was an abductor, I wouldn’t even need his permission to leave.
"I will give you some time to process this," Enzo uttered as he eyed everyone and told them to leave me alone with Atticus for now.
"Hey, thank you," before he could leave, I gave him a smile. It really helped me to know that asshole was not my father. But it did hurt me so much that my mother went through so much and that my sister died at the hands of that man.
"I wanted to do something for you after I have put you through so much," Enzo pouted, waving his hand as he walked away with Atticus.
Maleeka was zoned out, staring at the ground, before she shook herself out of her thoughts and got up in haste. I’m sure she must be feeling bad for my mother since she told me that my mother used to be her teacher.
Now that it was only Zeon and I left, I found him grunting with himself.
"Funny how karma works," he whispered under his breath, making me narrow my eyes in his face in anger.
"Do you have any shame at all? I just found out that my mother---," I began to talk in a harsh tone when he abruptly intervened.
"Or maybe I don’t care because your mother was a horrible person?" He shrugged, his eyes forming tears, before he got up and took a deep breath to mask his emotions.
"Good luck knowing you are Alpha’s daughter," he uttered. "But that won’t change your fate."
His words seemed nothing less than a threat. From what I could gather, he seemed to know my mother, too.
