Werewolf
Rejected Their Broken Luna Chapter 222: Chap-222*Going To Kill Her*
Author’s POV:
Years Ago:
"I know, it was so much fun," Eva was sitting in the backyard with Jacque and Bonnie. Bonnie was Jacque’s girlfriend and mate. Eva found them attractive together, and they were also very considerate of Eva’s feelings. They never left her alone and always included her in anything fun they were doing.
Even Eva thought they needed to stop worrying about her and spend some quality time alone. Just the two of them.
"I loved your bed and the whole cloud setting on the ceiling," Eva was complimenting Jacque after they redid his room together.
Zeon was standing a little farther from them, hearing everything. He didn’t know who Bonnie was. All he knew was that Jacque was probably hitting on Eva, and Eva had been at his home.
"Babe!" Maleeka rushed out after Zeon, looking for him after he ditched her in the cafeteria with her friends, "Why did you le---," she paused when her eyes followed his stare. He was not shying away from showing the jealous look on his face when watching Eva with Jacque.
"Don’t tell me you are standing here being all worried for some omega," she felt heat firing up her skin but kept her tone calm and her words harsh.
"What do you want? Don’t you have an army of friends to attend to?" Zeon, in no way, was jealous of Maleeka spending time with her friends. He just wanted her to know why she was focusing so much on Zeon when she had so many friends she could spend time with.
"OH! A little jealous, aren’t you?" She gently ran her hand up and down his arm, but it didn’t sit well with Zeon.
"Maleeka! What are you doing," gently shrugging her hand off, he complained to her. She was instantly met with shock and disappointment. Nobody has ever rejected her touch, and even after doing so much for him, he wasn’t accepting her.
"We are just friends," Zeon looked her in the eye and reminded her that he still didn’t see her as anything more than just being a friend.
"Then who is the one you want to date? Who is your mate?" Maleeka wanted to hear it now so that she could punish the bitch who was trying to steal him from her.
Her best guess would be Eva, but she hadn’t spotted Eva following Zeon.
"I want to be left alone a while," without responding to her, Zeon walked past her and went back into the school.
"That is you, isn’t it?" With her eyes full of tears, she glared at Eva from far away.
That day, when school ended, Zeon didn’t wait for Maleeka to come out and be in the cafe with him. He didn’t even remember that they used to go together. His aim was Eva, his mate.
He was going to do anything to win her back, even if he had to give up on everything he once thought would give him pleasure. Nothing compared to the comfort he felt whenever Eva was around him.
He waited until Eva was left alone, walking on an empty road. He sped up in his car and parked it in front of her. She was frightened watching him come out of the car and holding her hand tightly to take her to his car.
"What are you doing?" She protested, but he was way too strong to get freed. He grasped her bag with her phone in it and shoved it in the backseat while pushing Eva into the passenger seat.
"Zeon! Have you gone crazy?" She was panicking because it wasn’t something she expected him to do. Being forcefully taken into a car didn’t give her a good feeling. She couldn’t be sure how far he had planned to take it once he got into the car.
Once he had tied her hands despite her attempts to fight him off, he wrapped the seatbelt around her and got into the driver's side.
"I hate you!" she screamed, but he didn’t flinch. He had hit the road, and it didn’t even seem like he was taking her to his apartment anymore.
She knew the road from when he took her home the other day, so this definitely wasn’t where he was headed.
"Zeon! Where are you taking me?" Once frustration and fear took over, she began to sob loudly. This wasn’t how she had imagined her life to be. Firstly, he convinced her they would be together as mates and he would make sure their friendship didn’t get ruined, and then he ignored her. But the instant she thought she could move on from him, he was back in her life, maneuvering his way in.
"Don’t cry! I am not going to hurt you," he finally spoke up when her cries made his heart ache. He couldn’t see her in pain.
"Then please drop me home," she whispered, almost begging before him.
"No! You don’t understand," he shook his head aggressively. "You are supposed to be with me," he added, and her eyes shut down.
"You were the one who pushed me away. All I want to do is be left alone now," she was whimpering softly and hoping he could realize it wasn’t her voice that they were not together anymore. He made that decision.
He didn’t speak to her again, even when she kept begging him to take her back home. Neither did he tell her where he was taking her.
He parked the car near the woods and then dragged her out after him. Looking around and finding herself being dragged into the woods wasn’t a pleasant feeling.
She feared for her life.
"Why are we in the woods?" She had asked him many questions, but he hadn’t responded to any of them until now. Now that they were deep in the woods, he tied her to a tree despite her struggles.
"Are you going to ki---ll me?" she asked in tears, her lips quivering and her heart pounding loudly in her chest.
Just when he turned around to her, her heart skipped a beat. His wolf was flashing from his eyes, indicating how he was feeling at that moment.
