"She's accusing me, wow!" Mr. Holt finally spoke up. He rose from behind Maleeka, shaking his head in disapproval.

"You! Watch your tongue," Maleeka pointed at me. If she weren't pregnant, she might have tried to confront me physically. Atticus had stepped in front of me, ensuring I could continue speaking without any physical interference.

"What? I'm just stating the truth. Besides, why did you assume I was accusing you? I said she wants you!" I smirked secretly while maintaining eye contact with him.

The tension I've created feels familiar. This is how they used to corner me before.

"This is crazy! I love Atticus," Mara began crying, and it made sense why. The two of them knew they had been involved behind everybody's back.

"Cynthia! On what basis are you saying this? Did you hear her say that or anything?" Atticus asked me very politely, without a hint of hostility in his gaze.

"Yes! That's amazing. Now listen to what she has to say. Don't you remember how she loves to lie? I am telling you, I love you only!" Mara seemed desperate, refusing to believe that I had anything substantial to say or prove my point.

"But you love Mr. Holt's attention! Because everybody has needs," my mentioning that detail prompted Maleeka to let out a gasp. She seemed to have picked up on it from the last conversation they had in the kitchen last night.

"These are wild accusations, and if you don't have solid proof, then---," before Mara could finish her protestations, I played the audio clip from the video where she was getting angry at Mr. Holt for not reciprocating her advances, with him constantly telling her to back off.

Oh, I wasn't Mr. Holt's fan; I aimed to make him feel like he hadn't been caught until the moment he got caught again.

The expressions on Mr. Holt and Mara's faces were priceless. She began stepping back and away from Maleeka as she glared at her.

"You! You were seducing Zeon?" Maleeka gasped, "You! I thought you---" she started bawling her eyes out while Mara covered her mouth with her hands.

"The fact that Mr. Holt knew that she was hitting on him yet he was not saying anything just blows my mind," I pretended to be very disappointed with him but made sure he thought I didn’t have anything that would prove that he was as involved as Mara was.

"I thought this slut would be gone soon. I didn’t want Maleeka to worry about her," Mr. Holt confidently said, feeling too proud that in the audio he had kicked her away.

"What? You fucked me over and over. You had your dick in me in every corner of this house, and now you are calling me a slut?" Mara screamed as she acknowledged that this man would do anything to save his ass.

Mr. Holt panicked and looked around when she accused them of cheating on Maleeka.

"But the audio suggests otherwise. It is clear that you were begging him, but he didn’t let you because he wanted to be with Maleeka," I was the one who took Mr. Holt’s side, he was shocked to hear me defend him.

"Trust me, I hate him as much as you do right now, but I always stand for the right thing," I emphasized. I had grander plans for him. Even after Mara's revelations, Maleeka hadn't slapped him. I knew she might eventually forgive him again. I needed to set a solid trap so that he could never return to our lives and be held accountable for every crime against me.

"I trust my mate; he would never do that," Maleeka defended Mr. Holt, stepping in front of him. However, Atticus shook his head, expressing doubt. It seemed Atticus didn't believe Mr. Holt was innocent.

"Oh really? Didn't he trick Cynthia into marrying him?" Now that Mara knew she had no place to go, she exposed whatever she knew.

"She seduced him," Maleeka corrected her.

"Huh! She was dying to be accepted by Atticus. Your man was all over her house, visiting them and offering her help. She would have never married this man if she hadn't gotten abducted for a few days," Mara exposed my father's coercion, revealing how he was pressuring me to marry an older man.

The look on Atticus's face screamed guilt.

"And why are you acting all innocent? It's not like you don't know your husband is a scumbag who runs after young girls. You just don't want to admit it because you cannot live with the fact that you lost your mate after getting him with so much difficulty and evil sins," Mara shouted at Maleeka, making us all share a glance and then turn our attention to Maleeka.

"I--I don't know what you are talking about," Maleeka stammered, anxiously clasping her hands together.

"Huh! My mother used to be friends with her mother. I might not know too much, but I know that you did everything to get Mr. Holt to like you," Mara accused, and as she finished, Atticus stepped forward, delivering a resounding slap that sent Mara tumbling to the floor.

"You have the nerve to mess it all up and then bring up my sister’s love life. We all work hard for our mates to like us. That gives you no right to mess around and then want to be my mate," Atticus grabbed her arm, forcefully helping her to her feet.

"Atticus! You're angry, but tell me what I would have done. I wanted to feel something---," she began to cry as he dragged her towards the exit.

"Then go and feel the rejection!" Atticus screamed, rushing with her to the gate. I was the only one following him, as the couple stayed behind.

"I, Atticus Snow, reject you as my mate," he declared as he kicked her out of the mansion, and she landed on the road in tears.

"Cynthia! Please, ask him to---," she got on her knees to beg me, but when a smirk appeared on my lips, she understood I had only made her stay to ensure her departure with humiliation.
