Werewolf
Rejected Their Broken Luna Chapter 228: Chap-228*All In Front Of His Eyes*
Author’s POV:
Years Ago:
After that day, Zeon and Jacque were escorted out and even got detention. Days turned into weeks, and weeks into months. Nothing happened to Maleeka; the guards were even assigned to her to stop Zeon from coming after her.
She would go to school every day and watch Zeon and Eva together. She was not at all satisfied with what she had done; in fact, if Eva were still alive, she would consider herself a failure.
Although she was surprised to hear Eva get pregnant again, And this time, she couldn’t even get near her because all the eyes would be on her.
"This is the girl," she had asked for some rogue criminals to meet her after school.
"She is beautiful," there were five rogue young boys, probably 19, the same age as them.
"She will be alone in the school today, doing some assignments in the library. You can enter the school and get your hands on her. Listen, her mate will be there, but you can take him out with wolfbane. Remember, you are not supposed to hurt him; just intoxicate him enough so that you can have some fun with the girl. Also, do as rough as you can; the prize will go high," she smirked as she gave them advance payment.
"Also, if you told anyone about me, you know what I will do to you," she has gone way too confident after everything happened and how she survived both times.
"We don’t want to mess with the Alpha King’s sister," Rowdy said as he licked his lips.
"One of you will video call me, I want to see it all. Also, just when you are done, make sure she dies," she knew these men would do anything for money.
They all nodded and left.
"Let’s see how you survive that and how I can be blamed for something like that." She didn’t care what would happen afterward; she just knew she would somehow have Zeon if Eva died.
The next day, Eva and Zeon stayed behind just like they had planned while the boys entered the campus.
"We should name our baby dictionary," while Eva was trying to work on the assignment, Zeon had been bothering her.
"Yeah! It is too early for that." She answered and drowned her face in the file again.
"Fine, how about---," he was wandering around, reading the book’s title, "Biology?" He teased her with a laugh, which faded away quickly when he saw 5 boys walking downstairs in the library.
"Babe! Stay behind," Zeon suddenly went into a defensive mode. He knew they were not students, but then who were they?
"What is going o---- who are they?" Eva saw them and got on her feet to stand behind her mate. They watched the boys approach them with a smirk, and it didn’t sit well with him.
"Easy! We are just here to take the old books off the shelves," Rowdy lied, but his body language was enough to tell Zeon they were lying.
"Fine, we will leave, and then you do what you want to do," Zeon said, gesturing at Eva to grab her stuff and leave.
"Oh No! Where are you going?" Rowdy watched Eva grab her bag, but stopped when he called for her.
"Hey!" Zeon raised his tone, instantly rushing to cover her.
"Whoa! Calm down, mate. It will be just a few hours," Rowdy laughed as he turned to his friends, making them laugh at his stupid joke.
"What do you mean by that?" Zeon’s muscles stressed out when hearing those words. He must have gone his guts the moment they entered the library.
"Listen, so the thing is---," as Rowdy reached Zeon, instead of talking, he quickly injected wolfbane into his system.
"Fuck off!" Zeon pushed him back, but it was too late. Eva approached him in shock because she knew something wrong was about to happen now.
"Go! Fucking run." Zeon whispered as he fell to the ground and felt his limbs not responding to his orders.
She didn’t have much choice because she knew they were after her. The moment she got on her feet, one of the rogue boys grabbed her and wrapped his arms around her from behind.
"LET ME GO!" she screamed her lungs to bleed and even tried freeing herself, but it was not going to do anything for her.
"Where are you going?" Rowdy laughed, watching his friend put her down, but they instantly surrounded her.
"No! ple---ase let her g---o," Zeon said through pain.
"Then what about this? Who will take care of this?" Rowdy turned to Zeon and pointed at the hard bulge in his pants.
"I am pregnant," she whispered, meeting her palms before her.
"So? You shouldn’t have," Rowdy shrugged his shoulders, and then they attacked her. No matter how much she screamed, they didn’t listen to her.
They did all that Maleeka had told them right before Zeon’s eyes, and one of them was even recording it for Maleeka. Zeon had no clue where these men came from or why they did.
He just stayed there and suffered while he watched those beasts eat his mate’s skin. As they kept going, Zeon felt like they would kill her.
It was time he made a decision and somehow transitioned, or he would lose her forever. It had been hours, and her struggles too had subsided; she almost looked dead to him.
So he did what he had to do; he forced his wolf to transform. That moment, his bones cracked, and his wolf also lost the difference between right and wrong.
"What the fuck!" Rowdy gasped at the sight, but he couldn’t step away because Zeon had already transitioned fully and attacked them.
He ripped them apart one by one. Rowdy and the others tried to fight him, but he was unbeatable. He made sure they suffered, but just when he was about to kill Rowdy, he heard the whimpers of Eva.
He rushed back to her, transforming to get her help.
"No!" She refused to make him move her; they had broken all her bones. She knew she had once again lost her baby, but she couldn’t transform either now.
It was too late.
"Eva! I will ta--ke you to the hospital; you will be fine," he was crying, holding her in his arms.
"It hu--rts," she said, not even wanting to open her eyes and watch his face.
He watched her with them; how would they get out of this trauma?
"It will be fine," Zeon was sobbing, his tears drenching her face.
"It won---t be. But promise me--- promise me you will move on and ha---ve a good li--fe," she begged him to promise her but it upset him.
"I will," he promised, "with you!" he added and smiled weakly, hoping she would smile back like she does every time he says something sweet, but that didn’t happen that day.
Her eyes were stuck in space, and her breath was stagnant.
She had died in his arms; his life ended right before his eyes, and he couldn’t do anything about it. He didn’t know what crime he got punished for, but he felt the injustice right in his body.
