**Cynthia Dion: **

"Now you're going to claim you didn't send this?" Atticus groaned, his eyes brimming with both sorrow and anger. His connection with me as a mate, along with his affection and concern for his sibling, were the two emotions he harbored.

"That can't be true," I exclaimed when he replayed it, because every droplet of water that had poured from the shower that day had now tainted me instead of cleansing me. I had to shield my ears from the sound of that shower water.

"Stop it now! Ple--ase!" I cried in sobs. For a moment, it felt like my body was laid bare for everyone to see, just like in that restroom.

"But that's not even half of it; you aimed to traumatize my sister for no reason, and yet, every time she sees you in pain, she desperately wants to help you. Do you not realize how different you are from her? Why did he choose you when she's so loving and kind, and you can be cunning and crude?" Atticus crouched down beside me and shouted.

I wanted to know that too. Why am I being held responsible for someone else's sins?

"There's a sinner among us who recorded me and sent Mr. Holt my video. It's all so confusing, and I can't help but wonder, why didn't Mr. Holt tell me about it when I was rejecting him?"

"Okay! It looks terrible. But trust me, Atticus--it's someone else's doing," I said, wiping tears from my cheeks and taking my hands away from my face.

"We siblings are the ones suffering because of both of you," he argued. It was really tough to meet his gaze when that video played in his hand, and he glared at me for answers.

"You knew what you were doing, Cynthia! It's just that you keep on lying. Everything about you is a lie, nothing but lies!" he yelled. He shook his head while I watched him carefully, tears in my eyes, unable to close my wide, dry lips from the shock I had just experienced.

"But that didn't give you the right to attack my reputation," I said, clenching my jaw and swallowing hard. "You simply found an excuse to provide a legal cover for your actions," I continued, pulling myself away from him in disgust. He pretended that what he did wasn't illegal by claiming it was just revenge.

Finally stopping the recording, he said, "Really? But it wasn't a crime when you asked Mr. Holt to hurt my sister?" As we knelt very close to each other, Atticus tilted his face and gave a half-smile. I was so frightened by the look on his face that I didn't even immediately comprehend what he had accused me of--that is, until he began shaking the phone in his hand.

He held it up again and said, "It's all right here."

In an instant, I saw a picture of myself in bed, undressed, along with some text exchanged between Mr. Holt and me.

"What the heck is this?" I stammered, my voice trembling, shivers running down my spine as tears failed to block out the horrifying scene.

He pointed at me and then withdrew, "This is you, seducing him to get what you want. Your desires have ruined my sister's and my lives." There was a brief pause in his presence before he finally sniffled. "You need to reveal your true colors to everyone. You're wicked, Cynthia!" he added before getting up.

I tried to explain myself, saying, "I nev--r told him to hurt your s----," but he leaned in swiftly, silenced me, and glared at me with his angry crimson eyes, trembling with anger.

"I didn't have to come here and tell you all this, Cynthia! I did it only because of my sister's good news," he said, shaking his head and warning me with a deadly gaze, "If anything happens to her like last time, you will pay."

"Do you think I would harm her?" I asked with a trembling voice, tears streaming down my face, realizing that he had so much evidence against me that my words might never clear my name.

"Haven't you done it before? You saw everything," he hissed, appearing hurt.

"But I don't know--" I hadn't even finished speaking when it seemed like he had stopped listening. He didn't want to stick around and give me a chance, given the solid evidence he had with him.

He took the other phone, put it in his pocket, grabbed his own phone, and left the room.

I had many questions for everyone around me, including those who lived in our house or visited.

Dad was the only one who often had my phone. Just thinking about it made me shiver, and I covered my lips with my hands to stifle my shocked cries.

"No! My dad can't be behind this," the thought of him taking my pictures was too disturbing for me. I immediately dismissed the idea to prevent a mental breakdown. But then, who else could have done it? Since Atticus had left the room, I was left trying to solve this mystery on my own.

I spent the entire day in my room, experiencing a rollercoaster of emotions. Atticus didn't return because he held a strong dislike for me and found me repulsive, so I didn't feel the need to lock the door.

After straightening up and taking multiple baths, I was heading out of the room to grab a meal.

"Charlotte!" I called out to the maid. "I'll have dinner in the garden," I mumbled as I exited the mansion to get some fresh air. I couldn't leave the property, but my plan was to wander in the garden until the food was ready. I conveyed this to her from outside the kitchen, where she was finishing up dinner preparations before heading home.

The wind played with my long, flowing hair and the white knee-length dress. Beautiful clouds drifted overhead, moved by the breeze, even though some parts of the sky were clear.

I needed to gather myself so I could concentrate on sorting out my problems.

So, I devised a plan for Atticus.
