The Lost Princess Of The Lycans Chapter 104: War Is Coming

I was in the kitchen drinking a cup of coffee when there was a loud thud in the hallway. I heard Ray roar, but I couldn't make out what he was saying. By the time I reached the hallway, shredded clothes were everywhere, and guards were rushing in.

" Your majesty, we need to get you and the pups out of harm's way," the guard stated.

I knew what he meant. The guards would take us to the dungeon and put us in a secret room, which I was not looking forward to. As if sensing my distress, Ruby started speaking to me.

" Sarah, what's wrong?" she asked.

" I do not know," I stated.

" We need to get you and the pups to safety. " She stated.

" Ruby, what is going on?" I asked.

Then, as if in a trance, I spoke with Ruby's voice.

" We need to get ready. There is a war coming," Ruby stated.

" A war against witches," Ruby stated.

Then I was me again. I was frightened, and the weather was changing. I started taking deep breaths to calm myself. Ray did not need the weather, whatever he was doing, or wherever he was.

" Take me to the hospital where my babies are," I ordered the guard.

" Your majesty, it is unsafe for you," the guard stated.

I walked over to him and pushed him up against the wall. I was not going to let him tell me no.

" You will take me to my children," I demanded.

" Yes, your majesty," he responded to me.

We carefully left the house and went to the hospital. There were guards protecting the children, but I wanted to be with them. They had extra nurses in there with them and were feeding them. When I walked in, they all bowed to me, which I did not like. Everywhere I go, people bow to me. I will never get used to it.

I wondered if they bowed to the pups as well. That wasn't important right now. Raymond started crying. I went and picked him up. He was still fussy, so I checked his diaper. It was wet, so I changed it. He went back to sleep, and then it was Isabella's turn. The pups were both sleeping when Dr. Bernard came in.

" Your majesty," he stated as he bowed.

" Yes, what can I help you with?" I responded.

" We need to perform your check-up," he stated.

I had forgotten about that. I was apprehensive about what was going on. It had seemed like hours that Ray had been gone.

" Alright," I stated.

We went down to one of the examination rooms. I changed into a hospital gown, and the doctor did the examination and stated that I had healed from giving birth and that I could resume my sexual activities with Ray. Which I was pleased to hear. Being a Lycan has its advantages.

I then changed into my normal clothes and went back to the pups. Being followed around by a guard was different. He literally went everywhere with me. He even stood outside the bathroom when I went. This was going to have to end. I knew I was a witch, too—or at least possessed by one's spirit.

I was thinking, "Where is Donald?"

I need to speak to him. Maybe he can tell me what's going on. I will look for him later. I wanted to spend time with the pups. I walked back to the nursery. They were in a private room, which was nice. I enjoyed my time with them. It was starting to get late, and I needed to get back.

I finished nursing the pups. They were asleep. They were going to come home tomorrow. I was very excited. The nanny that Ray had hired was waiting to meet the pups for the first time. She was going to help me with them when Ray was not there. But I had clarified to Ray that a nanny would not raise them. I was going to raise the children—most of the time.

He agreed to that, but she would be there to help. I said goodbye to the pups, giving each one a kiss and a hug. I double-checked with the nurses and headed out the door to return to the house. The guards repositioned themselves in front of the pups' room. I was going to talk to Ray when I saw him that evening.

After I got back to the house, the blood had been cleaned up, and the dead Lycan body had been removed. I recognized the lycan and that it was from the Redrock clan. But why was it here, and what happened? They have always stayed to themselves and never really bothered anyone. They had balls once a year and invited all the clans so that they could find their mates, and that was really their only interaction with the other clans.

If they were away from their territory, that meant only one thing. That there is a war coming. But who were they going to war with? As far as I knew, everyone was at peace right now. Maybe news had spread about my powers, and they wanted to try and kidnap me or, worse, hurt the pups. The thought alone started to distress me. It suddenly started to rain. I was sad at the thought, and I was worried. These stupid powers are going to get a lot of people hurt.

I need to control them. I summoned Ruby to talk to.

" Ruby, are you there?" I asked.

" Yes, I am," she responded to me.

" What is going on, and will I ever learn to control these powers?" I asked.

" I don't know what is going on, and yes, you will," she responded.

" You must not worry that when the time is right, everything will fall into place," she stated.

I was glad to hear that. But in the meantime, I will work on controlling my powers. I went into the kitchen to get something to eat. I was famished. The cook had set out cold cuts for us to eat. There were various lunchmeats, cheeses, condiments, and bread. There were also side dishes, which were much appreciated. Also, the cook made a pitcher of tea.

He had thought of everything, so Ray had nothing to worry about. His servants were well-trained, and he took care of them in return for their faithful service. I made myself a sandwich and poured myself some tea. The front door of the house opened, and I could smell Ray. His scent was intoxicating. I had missed him all day.

I immediately ran up to him, hugged him, and kissed him deeply, passionately, and hungrily.

" Babe, if you keep kissing me like that, I will ravish you here and now," he responded.
