The Lost Princess Of The Lycans Chapter 69: The Ambush

Rays POV

When the tire blew on the lead van, I got out to see why it blew. Before I shut the door behind me, I turned and looked at Sarah.

" Lock the door and don't get out of the vehicle," he stated.

" Yes babe." was all I could say.

I gave her a look like I doubted her. But I knew she heard me. When I reached the first van I asked Izzy to go and sit with Sarah until we were done changing the tire. She quickly got out of the van and went to the van that Sarah was in. I watched as she climbed into the back with her. Now that I was satisfied that Sarah had some protection, I went and looked at the tire.

I was not happy with what I saw. The tire did not blow. It was sabotaged. Someone had left a spike in the middle of the road. No doubt, to stop us.

" Quickly, men, let's get the tire changed." I ordered the men.

We quickly got to work jacking the van up. When, all of a sudden, six lycans came from the trees. They were ready to attack. There was also the sound of thunder and the trees started swaying. Great Sarah is seeing this happen and with her powers she is messing with the weather. Izzy needs to start training her how to control her powers.

Two glycans jumped on me at once. Just as quickly as the weather started to, it started to get calm again. I'm pinned by these lycans. I hadn't even had the chance to transform into Nash. Which I could feel him coming forward leading me his strength to fight these two.

I looked back at the van that Sarah was in. The back passenger door was open, and I could see a flash of clothes being shredded and Karina running towards me. It was enough to get the two lycans off me long enough to transform into Nash. After I transformed, I could see that Karina had one of the wolves by his ear. She was puling him and ripped off his ear. The wolf then turned and bit Karina on the neck.

I heard her let out a yelp. She then turned and lounged at the wolf's neck and sunk her teeth into him. She was thrashing back and forth, which caused the wolf's wind pipe to be ripped out. The wolf was going to die. Which I did not care that serves him right for attacking Karina.

The next wolf lounged at Karina, and she side stepped, and he ran into Nash. I gave her a look and told her we would be talking about this later. Nash then rushed past Karina and slammed into the wolf's side, which sent him flying and when he landed, he yelped from the force of the blow. Nash then went over to Karina and sniffed around her to make sure she was OK.

I looked over, and I noticed a wolf growling and Izzy had him in a bubble. She was holding him up in the air. He was struggling to get free. Zack had a wolf pinned down to the ground by his foot. He had not shifted into his wolf. I was not worried because I knew he could handle his own. The other men had killed two others. The wolf that I had rammed on the side was impaled on a tree branch.

As I could see that I no longer needed Nash because the threat had been handled. I transformed into my human form and walked up to the wolf in the bubble.

" Who sent you?" I demanded.

The wolf did not respond to me.

" Izzy force him to shift back into human form," I demanded.

I didn't mean to sound so harsh when speaking to her, but I was pissed. She did as I requested. Witches were able to make anybody do anything they wanted. After he was forced to transform.

" I will ask again," I stated.

" Who sent you?" I demanded.

He remained silent. I was about to start pounding the shit out of him when I heard Sarah shouting. Which concerned me. Because I did not know why she was shouting.

" Ray, Alpha Marks' cousin sent them." Sarah shouted.

" What?" I asked.

" Ray, Alpha Marks' cousin sent them." she stated again.

" How do you know that?" I asked.

" I asked that one," she stated as she pointed to the one impaled on the tree branch.

" Ohh." I stated.

" What was their purpose?" I asked.

" To kill someone," she responded.

" Kill who?" I asked.

" I do not know," she responded.

I then ordered Zack and my men to tie the two men up. We all went to the van and got a change of clothes. The men dressed outside the vans. But I made Sarah get back in the van and get dressed there. I knew it was all part of being a lycan, that when you shifted your clothes get torn to shreds, but I did not like any one seeing her naked but me. I wanted to rip everyone's eyes out. That included my own men.

I decided after that, that we were going to fly there instead of driving. So I mind-linked my pilots to get the plane ready. It was about a ten-minute drive to the plane from where we were. I had the men put the two men in the front van. I did not want them anywhere near Sarah if they were ordered to kill her. She is making great improvements, but I did not want her hurt.

I decided that I would not get after her for coming to my aid. She did what any mate would. We arrived at the air strip. I ordered my men to put the prisoners in the cages at the very back of the plane. Then they loaded our bags into the bottom of the plane. I could tell by Sarah's expression that she had never seen a plane up close nor had she ever been on one. This one wasn't like any other one. When I purchased the plane, I remodeled the inside.

When we got on board, I went and talked to the pilots. I wanted to know how long we would be up in the air. They told me that it would only be a six-hour flight. I was pleased to hear that. When I went back, Sarah was sitting in the chair, and she was nervous about her first flight.
