The Lost Princess Of The Lycans Chapter 77: Paperwork

King Rays POV

Sarah put my hand on her stomach and I could feel the pups moving. They are sure strong little ones. Her wounds are almost healed. She is definitely getting stronger every day. The pups are growing like they should. The doctor is going to come by some time tomorrow and give Sarah a check-up. It was getting late.

We both fell asleep. I got woke up by my alarm on my phone going off. It was only 4 in the morning. Caleb and some of my warriors are coming with the prisoners from my dungeon this morning. I wanted to meet him and make sure that everything went smoothly. I kissed Sarah's forehead and went to the entrance of the palace.

The prison vans are already pulling up. The prisoners get out of the vans. I had some men build a portable prison. They were going to be outside under heavy guard until this evening. They were all going to be executed for their crimes. Roland was among them. The man that tortured Sarah for so long.

I did not have time to deal with them. Junior Alpha, Mark's son, was released and banished as a rogue. I then sent out messengers with orders that everyone from the White River Clan and the Great Plains Clan be present. I disbanded the kingdom here. The castle will be torn down, and a pack house will be built. I will also be presenting my new alphas of the two clans.

I had my delta come from my kingdom. My kingdom was going to be one of two. Mine and King Eric's. I sent him an invitation to come. I have not received a reply from him. I knew he would be excited about seeing his sister again. Sarah had no idea that I had invited him. I then sat up a make-shift courthouse.

Nina came up to me.

" Your majesty." she approached me.

" Yes Nina." I responded.

" The queen is looking for you," she stated.

" Go tell the queen to meet me in my office in ten minutes," I responded.

It was well past breakfast time. The cook had informed me that she had eaten breakfast already. I finished my preparations for the prison and courthouse and headed to the office. Sarah was waiting for me.

" What do you need, sweetheart?" I asked.

" What are we going to do with the palace?" she asked.

I had forgotten that I had not spoken with her about my plans.

" Why do you ask?" I responded.

"Because I was thinking that we should clean it up and remodel it," she stated.

" Sarah, I'm going to have it torn down and made into a pack house." I stated.

" That sounds good too." She stated.

She then kissed me and left the office. That went well. She was in agreement. At least we weren't arguing. I then started working on the paperwork in the office. It was going to take months to sort out this mess. How did he keep anything together? Did he even know where his finances were at? I went through the prisoner reports.

There were an unusually high number of executions. Why did he kill everyone? I was shocked that a 12-year-old boy was executed for stealing. That should have been a jail sentence of ten days. I went through the reports and everyone was slated for execution. There were crimes ranging from drunkenness to murder.

I decided to start the trials early. I started with the lesser crimes. It was after lunchtime by the time I got through the lesser crimes. There were prisoners that had gone crazy being locked in the dark for so long. There were even elderly people in the prison. Their only crime was getting old.

I had those people put in the elders' house.Which now we needed to build a bigger house for them all. This place was really out of date and needed some serious care. It looks like we will be here for a while. The murderers were going to be executed. The prisoners and traitors were going to be executed. He had not conducted trials of any sort.

I had finished all the legal stuff and was beginning to go through the bank statements. They are doing pretty well financially. But there is some shady stuff on these statements. I understood you made money however you could. I was almost through going through the statements when one caught my eye. It was torn up. I could not make out what it was saying. I then decided that I would go to the bank and get another statement.

I was finishing up the bank statements when there was a knock on the door. It was Sarah.

"What's going on?" I asked.

" I was just checking on you," she stated.

" I haven't seen you all day," she stated.

" I know my love." I responded to her.

It was true I hadn't seen her all day. I have been busy with my duties. I pulled her into my arms and gave her a kiss. She sat down on my lap and started rubbing my arms. Her touch was enough to drive me crazy and turn me on. Even though pregnant, I still wanted her.

" Are you going to come to dinner?" she asked.

" Yes sweetheart," I stated.

Sarah was still sitting on my lap. She had tried to get up, but I held her in place. I wanted her close to me. I missed her presence all day and her scent. It helped calm me. She just laid back against my chest and let me do my work on the computer. I finished up what I was doing on the computer and saved everything.

We then got up and headed to the kitchen to eat dinner. Nina already had her place ready for her. She had her cup filled, and her chair pulled out. That was sweet of her. But I actually preferred that she sat on my lap while she ate. I loved having her close to me. Mike made fried pork shops and mashed potatoes and a salad for dinner.

Sarah loved mashed potatoes. She would eat the whole pot if you let her. We ate dinner in a comfortable silence. Sarah was sitting on my lap, and I was rubbing her back. Then all of a sudden she grabbed her stomach.

"What's wrong baby," I asked.

" Nothing, the babies are just moving." she stated.

" Sweetheart, don't do that to me." I stated.
