After Caleb and Chrissy left for the hospital, Ray and I went to the pup's room. We sat there for a while and played with the pups. We were waiting for word from Caleb. If he wanted us to continue with the executions or if he wanted us to wait until tomorrow for him. Because the next and last execution was with Ezekiel, he was supposed to fight with Ray in a battle with Ezekiel. I don't know what is going to happen now.

I let out my breath. I had no idea you could hold your breath this long and talk and whatnot. I was so happy that they were both doing well.

" Are we going to continue the executions today," I asked.

" Yes, we are, but Caleb will not join us," Ray responded.

" Eric will be taking his place," he stated.

I was not happy about that news. Both of the men that I loved were going to be fighting. I thought it was horrible that my mate and friend would fight. Now, both members of my family were going to be fighting. I should not have even suggested what I did. I regret it now. I know I had a regretful look on my face.

" Baby, what's wrong?" Ray asked.

" I regret suggesting what I did," I responded.

" It's too late to change it," he responded.

I knew that. He did not even need to tell me that. I know there was no changing a sentence. I was not going to try and stop it from happening. Ezekiel needed to be punished. But I was not happy who was going to be fighting him. We finished our drinks and then headed back to the training grounds. A steel cage had been set up, and Ezekiel was already in it. He had no chains on. Ray and Eric then took their shirts off and were prepared to fight. Brittany was there, holding my hand. Also, there were a lot of guards around the stage.

I knew they had been assigned to protect me. Just in case something went wrong. If Ezekiel had managed to kill Ray and Eric, he would have been let go. That was the law. I would be taken to safety, and so would the pups. We would be taken to a secret place where he could not find us. I had no idea where that would be. Unless we were taken back to the palace. The fight had begun. Ray threw the first punch. He hit Ezekiel in the nose, and he started bleeding. Ezekiel then retaliated with a punch of his own and missed. Eric then kicked Ezekiel in the back, and he dropped to his knees and then Ray jumped on top of him and started to punch him repeatedly.

Blood was flying everywhere. Eric then kicked Ezekiel in the stomach while he was down. Ezekiel then managed to get up on his feet, and he hit Ray in the mouth. Blood started to run down his chin. But it stopped almost as fast as it began to bleed. Ray and Eric were healing fast. Faster than I have ever seen anybody heal. Ezekiel, on the other hand, was not healing fast at all. He was battered and bleeding. He fell to the ground and did not get up. Then Doctor Bernard entered the ring and checked to see if he was still alive. He was not. They beat him to death. His body was then set on fire. Right in the ring.

Ray and Eric were checked in the ring to see if they were alright. They then walked out of the ring, and I ran to Ray. He caught me as I ran to him and picked me up.

" See, baby girl, everything is alright," he stated.

I was very relieved. I then ran to Eric and wrapped my arms around his neck. He hugged me and then gently pushed me away. He wiped a tear away.

" I'm ok, little sister," he stated.
