The Lost Princess Of The Lycans Chapter 126: A Legend

King Rays POV

I was in my office when Nash yelled in my head.

" Mate in TROUBLE," he yelled.

I had the feeling that something was wrong with Sarah, but I assumed that it was because she was happy and finding homes for everyone. But I immediately jumped out of the chair and ran through the front door, breaking it into bits. I did not care. I could always replace it.

"I must get to mate." Nash was screaming.

That is when I felt the worst. She was in terrible trouble. My heart was racing. We shifted midway down the stairs. I could feel Nash's anger building. He was going to kill whoever or whatever was attacking our mate. They were going to suffer. The scene we came upon made our blood boil worse. I think this is the first time we have seen red, which is not a good thing. This wolf was going to have the worst death imaginable.

He was on top of my mate, trying to hurt her. I immediately rushed in and knocked him off her. I could smell her blood, which did not smell good. The smell of her blood was sickening. It made our stomach hurt and made us angry. We had him pinned to the ground. Then the lightning bolt hit him, knocking him out. Sarah was unconscious, and she was still bleeding, but not severely.

I immediately shifted back to human form and ran straight for her as I was running. I scooped her up and into my arms. I then ran to the hospital. Dr Bernard was waiting to take Sarah. She was unconscious. He immediately took her to an exam room. It was a few minutes later, he came out.

" She is going to be fine," he stated.

" Her wounds are almost healed," he stated.

That was a relief. Before, she would have taken forever to heal. Not precisely forever, but a long time. She is so much better these days, and I was impressed with her. She shot a fireball at the glycan that was attacking. She hit the rogue lycan and not anything else. She is so amazing. She is not going to be happy when she wakes up. I already know she is going to be worried about the pups. I have already sent Caleb to check on the pups.

He reported that they were sleeping. The house is locked down, and that animal is in the dungeon chained with silver chains. I will be conducting an interrogation as soon as Sarah wakes up. I went into her room, and the doctor had an IV drip in her arm. There is no doubt to give her fluid to replace the blood she lost. I let Nash come forward enough so he could communicate with Karina.

Listening to the conversation was interesting. Karina assured him that they were OK and that all was well. It was just her body's natural defense reaction to protect her. They said their goodbyes and then retreated to their corners. Within minutes of that happening, Sarah woke up. She grabbed my hand, which startled me. I was not expecting her to wake up so soon.

" Take it easy, my love," I stated,

" You have had a nasty bump on the head," I stated.

" Are my pups OK," she asked.

" Yes, the pups are fine," I stated.

" You need to rest now," I stated.

" I want to go to my pups," she stated.

I checked with the doctor, and he said that she was free to go, but with instructions to take it easy and rest. I will guarantee that she rests. I already had Stacey get things ready in our room. Mike had already started making easy things for her to eat, stuff that could easily be microwaved. I wanted everything she needed to be ready. I had Caleb take the car up to the hospital.

I carried her to the car. It was their procedure that she be in a wheelchair, but I wanted her close to me. I canceled the rest of my appointments today to tend to her. This evening, I will deal with the animal in the dungeon. I have never seen this wolf before. I knew he was a rogue. I was sure of that.

There was a legend about a lost clan that wanted nothing more than to be the rulers of the Lycans. But they were banished a long time ago—way before I was born and before my father as well. I was sure that they were extinct. Nobody has heard of them in forever. So why are they letting themselves be known?

I will get to the bottom of this. We reached the house, and I carried her inside. I then laid her down on our bed. She tried to get up and walk around.

" No, my dear, you are going to rest for the rest of today and the next few days," I stated,

" Babe, I'm fine," she stated.

She then got out of bed and fell. I immediately rushed to her side and caught her before she hit the floor.

" Well, maybe not today," she stated.

" How will I take care of the pups," she asked.

" I will have the nannies bring them to you," I stated.

" I will also bring what paperwork I need and work in here. " I responded to Sarah.

She lay back and smiled. It would be nice to be close to her. I knew we could not do anything, but I would be holding her and giving her a massage. I would be here if she needed me. I miss her when I'm working in my office and checking business accounts. Everything was running smoothly, as far as that went. There was no reason to worry about that.

I then had Mike bring her some dinner. The two teenagers were in the living room watching TV. I had not called their parents yet. I did not know if Caleb had assigned someone to answer the phones there. I will look for Caleb. But first, I'm going to my office to get the needed maps and paperwork.

I also need to call the company to see how things are going there. Even though I am a king, I still have things I do to earn money. But that will have to wait. I will check the perimeter for any weak points tomorrow and see how the wall is going. I have had people build a wall. I had them start building it the day we arrived.

This clan needs some serious improvement. I have brought several seasoned warriors from my kingdom to train these people. Also, with Brittany being left in charge, I know she will take care of things. I then mind-linked Caleb to come to my office.

" Yes, your majesty," he stated.

" Have you called those kids' parents yet," I asked.

" Yes, I did. They are on their way here," he stated.

" Very good. As you know, the queen was attacked," I stated.

"Yes, is she OK," he asked.

I then explained to him her injuries and that she would be in bed for a few days. But she was alright and just needed some rest.
