The Lost Princess Of The Lycans Chapter 65: My Beautiful Queen

King Rays POV

After, I placed an ice pack on her head to help with the swelling. I just stood there watching over her. I had consulted the doctor outside, and he assured me that she and the pups were going to be OK. But I still wanted to make sure. After a while, she started coming around. The look in her eyes told me she was not expecting me to be standing over the bed.

She will need to get used to me being by her side more and more. She is the new queen and the soon-to-be mother of my pups. She will not be allowed out of my eye shot longer than to go relieve herself. After today and it seemed that the fates had it out for her, I was going to protect her at any cost.

She placed her hand on her head. I knew it was hurting. I went to the medicine cabinet and got a couple of Tylenol. I brought her Tylenol and a drink.

" Take it easy baby." I stated.

" You have had a long day," I stated.

I could tell she wanted to say something sassy. But she changed her mind. I do not why. Instead, she asked.

" Are my babies OK?" She asked.

" Yes, our pups are fine." I stated.

She let out a breath of relief. I could tell she was also concerned about Karina. Karina was fine. Brittany said that while she was in wolf form nothing happened to her. By the look on her face I could tell she was communicating with Karina. I will just wait until she is done.

After she was done, she patted the bed next to her. I knew she wanted to speak about something important.

" Ray, I need to learn how to control these powers and how to use them properly." I stated.

" Yes, darling, but not today." he stated.

" Today you need to rest," he stated.

She voiced that she still wanted to visit the elder's house. But she was not going today. She was going to rest even if I had to tie her to the bed. She likes to push too hard and too fast. She is truly built to be a queen. Whatever power that is truly found me a compatible mate.

We then discussed the orphanage. She brought up that there are a lot of problems happening with the financial's and paperwork. She was right about Alma as she was using the funds that she was being given illegally. I could tell that it was really upsetting her. I had already thrown Alma into the dungeon. After I get back from the Great Plains kingdom there will be a lot of trails and sentences to deal with. I do not think Sarah knows what the punishment for hurting the queen is. I will not tell her today.

She has already had a long day. Right now she needed to eat and rest.

" I'm going to go get us some lunch." I stated.

It was really dinner time at that point. We have been awake for over 24 hours now. We missed breakfast because she had been asleep. She had been resting so peacefully that I did not want to bother her. She seemed to be OK now. I wanted to make sure she ate something. I was headed to the door to go to the kitchen, when she spoke up.

" I would like a hamburger," she stated.

" As you wish," I stated.

I made a clumsy looking bow. It made her smile. I left the room and went to the kitchen where Mike was.

" Hey Mike," I stated.

" The queen would like a hamburger for dinner," I stated.

" How is she doing, your majesty?" he asked.

" She has a bump on her head, but she is alright." I responded.

" And the pups in her belly," he asked.

" They are fine." I stated.

That was the truth. My concern was that I didn't think she was getting enough nutrients for herself. The pups were taking everything for themselves. The doctor has said on several occasions that she may not survive childbirth. But we did have resources and such to help her with it. So I was hoping that he was wrong.

She was already having problems getting up and down. But that is expected when they are pregnant. She wanted to be a proper queen. I respected that. I wish I could have found her sooner. She would be in a lot better health.

Mike finished cooking our hamburgers and french fries. I made sure that there was plenty of food on her plate to feed at least 8 people. I know she is eating for three. But she was going to have plenty of food. O went back to our room. I walked in and noticed she wasn't on the bed where I left her.

" Sarah, where are you?" I called out.

"I'm in the nursery," she responded.

I knew eventually she would find her way there. I walked into the nursery, and she was sitting in a rocking chair rocking back and forth with her hands resting on her stomach. She looked so beautiful. I couldn't help but stare.

"What's wrong?" she asked.

" Nothing, you just look amazing is all," I stated.

She blushed a deep crimson red. I loved making her blush. It always made me happy when she reacted to my compliments like that. She is my queen after all. She needs to know that she is beautiful. Even when pregnant, she is still beautiful. I went and got a blanket from the couch and spread it out on the floor and put the tray of food on the blanket. I made a little cushion out of pillows for her to sit on.

While she made herself comfortable, I went and got us something to drink. I got two water, her a Mountain Dew and myself a tea. I wanted her to drink some water since she has had nothing to eat or drink for a while. We sat down and enjoyed our dinner. It was quiet for the most part. My cell phone rang. I excused myself and went into the other room. I wanted her to finish her dinner.

It was Caleb explaining that there was a lot to be done in the Great Plains Kingdom and that some residents didn't believe that the king was dead. They were starting to cause trouble.
