I regretted leaving her side. After the doctor informed me of the severity of her injuries and printed out a report, I asked Brittany to stay with her while I tended to essential matters. The first was to contact Eric and inform him of the situation. He was not going to be happy to hear about her injuries or that she didn't even know her name. I had not left the hospital since we were rushed there after the visit, so I did not have a car. I was walking to the palace, which was about two miles from the hospital. I needed to clear my head. I was deep in thought about whom I needed to find when I ran into Caleb.

"I was wondering how the queen was doing, "Caleb asked.

As we got to the palace, the servants were in the main hall waiting for me.

"I need the suite next to mine remodeled and made ready for her," I stated.

"I will be in my office if you need anything, " I stated.

I sit at my desk and dread the phone call I have to make. I know he will want to see her, and I know it will be hard for both of them. I picked up the phone and called his number.

" Hello, Micah. Is Eric around? "I asked.

Micah put me on hold. Eric gets on the phone. I can tell he is winded.

I heard the phone drop and then listened to the loudest growl. I know Eric is upset, and I'll expect him in the morning.

When she gets released from the hospital, I'll have Brittany take her shopping. I also need to get a bite to eat and a shower.
