The Lost Princess Of The Lycans Chapter 20: The Meeting

King POV

She had a nightmare last night. I don't blame her given all the excitement that she had to endure. Today her brother is coming. I'm dreading having to tell him all that she has gone through. On top of what I need to tell him about yesterday. I have no doubt that he'll want to interrogate those bastards.I know I have some questions for them as well. When I left, she was still resting comfortably and Stacey was reading a book. I asked her to stay in the room until Sarah woke up. As I didn't want her to wake up alone in the dark room. Since I needed to meet with Eric. I have no idea how I'm going to tell him without breaking down myself.

I headed down the elevator to the main hall and I could smell that the cook had already prepared breakfast. I turned the corner from the elevator and I could see Eric's beta Christopher. He's already here. That's good. That means I won't have time to dwell on the subject. I headed into the dining room. As expected, Eric is sitting at the head of the table and Caleb is sitting there as well.

"Hey boss share some coffee." Caleb greets me.

"Hey, I need that." I responded.

I took the cup of coffee from Caleb and sat down.

"Hey Eric." I state.

"Hey Ray." He responded.

"Where's Sarah." He asks.

"She's upstairs sleeping." I responded.

"I expected her to be joining us," he responded.

" Lets eat our breakfast. Then we will go to my office. " I responded to him.

"Alright" he responded.

We eat our breakfast and have idle chit-chat about the weather and things that have no real importance. The cook made sausage eggs and toast a light breakfast. Which I'm glad because I don't really have much of an appetite. We finished our breakfast.

"Shall we head into my office?" I asked Eric.

"Yes" he responded.

We need to go to my office.

"Have a seat Eric." I state.

"What is wrong with my sister?" He asks.

" Well, Eric, she has been under my nose all this time. She was being held captive by the White River Clan," I stated.

" She was a slave in their village. I never saw her. They must have kept her out of sight when I visited," I stated.

" She was badly beaten and abused by the time I was able to rescue her, " I stated.

" She was also sexually assaulted on multiple occasions. " I state.

I could tell that he was getting very upset. But he needed to be informed about his sisters condition.

"Her legs are currently broken and she is in a wheelchair. They were injecting her with silver to prevent her from changing and healing." I state.

" The medication the doctor has given her is flushing out her system. She is actually starting to heal like she is supposed to." I state.

"Does she know she has a brother and about our parents?" Eric asks.

"Yes she does. You will have to go slow around her." I state.

"Can I meet her?" Eric asked.

"Yes" I state.

I then called up to her room. Stacey answers the phone.

"Will you please bring the queen to my office, I asked."

"Yes your majesty." She responded.

We are waiting, and I can tell Eric is nervous. This is the first time he will be seeing his sister since she was a baby. I hear a soft knock on my door.

"Come in, Stacey, " I answered.

Stacey wheels Sarah in and she is beautiful. She is wearing a blue dress that comes to mid-thigh and it has spaghetti straps. She takes my breath away. Eric and I are standing on our feet waiting for her.

"Hi Sarah Im Eric." he greets

"I've been looking for you for a while," he stated.

Sarah grabs her dry-erase board and writes nice to meet you. She had tears in her eyes and I slowly walked over to her and wrapped my arms around her and hugged her. Eric then approaches her and does the same. We sit in my office a while and Eric visits his sister.

" I have other matters to discuss with your brother, my beautiful queen," I stated to Sarah.

"Will you excuse us?" I asked.

She nodded her head yes, and I had Stacey take her out of my office. I shut the door and could see that Eric had tears in his eyes. He tries to dry his eyes and act like nothing is wrong. Now to the important matter of what he wants to do with the people responsible for what has happened to her.

"Eric, now that Sarah has retired to her room, we need to discuss what needs to be done with the people responsible." I stated.

"I agree." Eric responded.

We discuss interrogating them and what their punishment should be. We agree that they need to be put to death for the murder of their parents. Also, the person that was torturing Sarah was to be whipped and tortured just like she was. We agree on the punishment, but we will give them a trial first, since we are fair. But we already have the evidence we need to carry out their punishments. Also, we want to give Sarah's vocal cords time to heal so that way she may address them if she so desires. I'll leave that decision to her. I will speak with her after dinner tonight. Eric asked that she join us for dinner and again that decision was up to her.

I don't want her to feel pressure to be around him or to try and start building a relationship with him. We both agreed that the most important thing for her is to stay with me. I'm her mate. He is pleased that I'm her mate and that she is with me and living in my kingdom now. He also knows that she has a long road ahead of her. I
