The Lost Princess Of The Lycans Chapter 120: The Ceremony

Sarahs POV

After finally persuading Ray to leave the nursery, I put the pups back down on a spot I found on the floor, surrounded by blankets. They were still awake, but their hunger was sated. We will change them after we restore the nursery to its former state. As we picked up the broken pieces and placed them outside the door, a surprising sight greeted us-guards were waiting for the broken pieces, ready to dispose of them.

It was sweet of Ray to ensure that there was someone who could do that. It took a couple of hours to get the nursery back to its original state. The floor was vacuumed, and new furniture had been brought in. It looked like the first day we brought them home. I sat down in a rocking chair and fed them again. After they were done eating, I changed them and got them dressed for the ceremony.

We were sitting in the nursery when I heard a familiar female voice in the living room. At first, I thought it couldn't be her. Then I heard Caleb's voice. Then I heard Eric's voice. I could not help myself. I jumped up from the chair I was sitting in and ran to the living room. Sure enough, it was Chrissy. I ran up to her and gave her a hug.

At first, she seemed distant, but then she returned my hug. It had been an eternity since I last saw Chrissy. She had disappeared into the human world, and rumors had circulated that the Alpha had taken her life. I vividly remember the night she left, the panic and the search. She had left without a word, right after her graduation from the academy.

No one was allowed to speak her name after that. If you do, you will be beaten. Regardless if you were a slave or a member of the pack. I always hoped that she was OK.

" Your majesty." she bowed to me.

" Chrissy, please don't do that," I stated.

" Yes, your majesty," she responded.

I understood she was following protocol, but she was more like a friend than a regular person. Then I turned to Eric and hugged him. He picked me up off the floor in a hug.

" You look beautiful," he stated.

" You look good yourself, brother," I responded.

The look on Chrissy's face told me she was shocked and frightened at the same time. It was her father, after all, who kidnapped me. My brother was standing there in front of her. I knew he wanted revenge. But that had been settled already by the day that I was rescued. I would ask Ray if that was taken care of. He told me a lot, and there were things he did not tell me.

Ray walked into the room.

" I can see that everyone has greeted each other," he stated as he reached out his hand to me.

I walked over to him and took his hand. He was so possessive at times. I did not argue with him or shy away from that; I just went with it. I also liked that he wanted me close to him when we had visitors. He was a very protective person, which made me even more attracted to him. No one told me what to expect at the ceremony, but it couldn't be too bad, as it was a simple ceremony.

We walked hand in hand to the training grounds. The nannies were dressed in nice clothing and carrying the pups. We walked onto the stage.

" Good evening, my people," Ray stated.

He then went on about the pups and how they would someday rule mighty kingdoms, and he introduced them, starting with Raymond and then Isabella.

" We have one other matter to deal with this evening," he stated.

He then went on about the White River clan not having an alpha. Then he turned to Caleb and announced that he would be their new Alpha. The look on his face told me he was shocked that Ray had named him. Just as he was about to step forward, a white light appeared. It was picking Caleb up and gently spinning him. That must be the goddess giving him his alpha powers.

Everyone cheered, then the music started, and everyone started to dance and have a good time. The pups and I went back to the house. Ray told me that he would bring me a plate of food later, which was fine. The pups needed to be fed and put to bed. I also wanted to relax in a nice bath and rest. It had been a long couple of days, and I was glad that they were over now.

Now, we can all focus on more important things. I could also do some more training. I fed the pups and put them to bed. I then went and started to fill the bathtub. The water was hot, just as I liked it. The nannies had a couple of bottles for the pups and could feed them if they woke up.

I put my hair up in a messy bun, got undressed, and then climbed into the bathtub. I was resting with my eyes closed when the bathroom door opened. I already knew who it was.

" Baby girl, I brought your food," Ray stated.

" Thank you, babe," I stated.

I did not hear him approach the bathtub, which caused me to open my eyes and look at him.

" What are you doing," I asked.

" Admiring your beauty," he stated.

I blushed. I still can't get used to him saying I'm beautiful. The look in his eyes told me that he wanted to do more than look at me.

" Come join me," I stated.

" As much as I want to, I still have a lot to do this evening," he responded to me.

" Really?" I started with a pouting look.

" Yes, my love," he responded.

He did have the look of regret in his eyes. I knew he wanted to stay, but he did have more to do. I wanted this war to come and get over with. Then maybe I could have my mate back. I miss him. I knew I could go to this office and see him whenever I wanted, but I knew he had a lot to do.

Tomorrow, the other alphas were going to be here, including the Alpha of the Red Rocks clan, about whom I did not know much. They always stayed to themselves and never really bothered anyone. They would hold a ball once a year for all the untamed people to see if they would find their mates.

That was the most interaction I had with them. Also, tomorrow, I was going to go check on the people who were freed and see if we could get them to their families and see if any of them found their mates while in captivity. I was hoping that I could find a couple that had. Call me romantic, but there has to be some happiness in life. It can't be bad all the time.
