The Lost Princess Of The Lycans Chapter 55: Big News

Sarahs POV

I woke up in the guest house. I didn't have to guess how I got here. I knew Ray must have carried me from the hospital. The last thing I remember was feeling dizzy and having pain in my stomach. Yesterday's excitement was a lot for me. I remember the ceremony and the battle. Then, out of concern for my health, Ray told me to go to the hospital and get checked out.

I noticed that my dress was missing. It was sweet that he had undressed me. I was still wearing my undergarments. He was lying next to me sound asleep. I was just watching him sleep. I couldn't believe that he was almost completely healed. He had a few scratches from where he had gotten hurt. They started as deep wounds. I also had a couple of scratches on me that were healing as well.

I could feel he had a lot of feelings. I wish I could read his mind. That's an ability I will have to learn. As I was never told anything about the mate bond or the abilities we are supposed to be able to use. I started to move down the bed, so I could relieve myself. He jumped off the bed and his claws were starting to appear, his teeth elongated and Nash was near the surface.

"What's going on? Are you OK? What's wrong?" He started to ask.

" Nothing, I just have to go to the bathroom," I stated.

" Oh" he states.

Why was he acting this way? He was acting crazy. I slid further down the bed.

" No baby let me carry you." he stated.

" I can walk." I stated.

"You are in a delicate condition," he said.

What does he mean? What in the hell is going on? I fainted from exhaustion, that was all. He's acting crazy. He then picks me up and carries me to the bathroom. He gently sits me down on the toilet like I'm made of glass and could break. I will address this situation when I'm done. It's kind of weird to have a discussion when you're sitting on the toilet.

I finish my business and try and stand up to wipe myself. He rushed to my side. At this point, I'm growing concerned. Did something happen when my powers came out? Did I get hurt and not know it?

We finally made it back to bed. He gently sits me on the bed.

" Ray, what is going on?" I asked.

" Sweetheart, there is no easy way to tell you this," he states.

" What is wrong with me?" I asked.

" Sarah you are pregnant." he states.

" What do you mean I'm pregnant?" I asked.

" You are pregnant and with twins," he stated.

"Oh." I state.

I've always dreamed of having babies. But I have never heard of lycans having twins. That was a strange occurrence. I could tell that Ray was going to be more overprotective than usual. I was already queen, mate, and now I'm pregnant everything was happening all at once. I started to feel dizzy again. The room started to spin.

Ray got concerned and rushed to the phone and called the doctor. The doctor showed up literally in thirty seconds flat. He rushed over to me.

" Lay back your majesty." Dr. instructed.

I laid back and he examined me. I was starting to feel better by just lying down. I think all the excitement was getting to me. The news of being pregnant with twins was overwhelming. We have just had a battle, a mating ceremony, and now I'm pregnant. That was a lot for anyone.

" She is fine." Dr. Bernard stated.

" She is overwhelmed." Dr. Bernard stated.

I was trying to understand how it happened. We only had sex a couple of times. I knew how babies were made, but why now? After being raped multiple times, I never got pregnant. Which was a blessing. Maybe the powers that be prevented that from happening. Which was kind of them.

I just laid on the bed and the doctor and Ray went to the other room. I started rubbing my hands on my stomach. I knew soon that it wouldn't be flat anymore. Which did not bother me. It was something that just happened. I was starting to feel happy. All of a sudden, a deep sense of peace, love, and happiness came over me.

I was enjoying the feelings I was having when Ray walked back into the room. He could see I was happy. He then came and climbed on the bed. He snuggled up to me and we just held each other. Then my stomach ruined the moment by growling. I was starving. He jumped up and went to the kitchen. I was determined not to stay in this bed all the time. After he left the room, I got up. I went over to the closet that I had put my bags in. I pulled out a pair of pajamas. I was going to be comfortable.

After that, I went to the kitchen and sat down on a bar stool. This is the first time I have actually seen this kitchen for the first time. It was small. It was perfect for a couple. Or maybe a small family. There was a window in the ceiling. I bet at night it was amazing to sit there and look at the stars. There were two ovens stacked on top of each other. Then there was a dishwasher under the cabinet to ther right of the sink. There was an island in the middle of the kitchen.

Then there was a microwave in a hole in the wall. It had all the appliances you would need to make meals and mix the food. The cabinets had glass in the doors and you could see the beautiful china. I was just admiring this kitchen when Ray said something.

" Hey beautiful," he states.

" What are you thinking about?" he asked.

" Just how perfect this little cottage is for a couple or a small family," I stated.

" That it is," he stated.

" Lets enjoy it while we can." he states.

He brings three or four little plates. It was some of the food from the ceremony. I was surprised that he had thought of bringing some over. He was definitely a good king and provider. He would make an excellent father as well. I know it's too early to know if we are going to have boys or girls.
