The Lost Princess Of The Lycans Chapter 171: Fighting Back

Sarahs POV

Ezekiel was starting to approach me. I couldn't stand up because of where my neck was chained. I decided I would try to fire a fireball at him. I tried, and I failed. I then tried again, and I fired one at him.

" What the hell?" he stated.

" What was that?" he asked again.

" It's a fireball," I stated.

I missed him, but it scared him. He had stopped in his tracks. When he decided to start trying to come towards me again, the walls began to shake. He stopped again and looked scared. I want to keep this up until Ray can find me. Again, I tried the mind-link. This time, he responded. I told him I was in the building with the shaking walls. If you could see them shaking while you're in the building, I knew you could see them on the outside.

I was trying to fight the chain and him. He finally got close enough where I could kick him. I tripped him like Brittany had taught me. He then punched me in the face. It hurt, and I knew it would leave a mark, but I was not just going to let him do whatever he wanted. I then punched him in the face. He fell back and landed on his butt. He then jumped on top of me and banged my head on the floor.

I started to see stars. I heard the door shatter into many pieces, and then everything went black. When I woke up again, Ray was kneeling next to me. I could barely open my eyes.

" Baby girl, please wake up," he begged.

" Please, baby girl, wake up," he begged again.

I couldn't open my eyes. I reached up with a shaky hand and touched his face. He grabbed my hand and held it against his cheek.

" That is my girl," he stated.

" Where's my sister?" I heard Eric growl.

" Is she OK?" he asked.

" I will not know until I get her to the hospital and run some tests," Doctor Bernard stated.

I then felt Ray pick me up and start to carry me. It was still raining. Where Ezekiel. My eyes are swollen shut from being hit. I couldn't see anything. I can feel the rain on my skin. It was hitting me on the neck, and the rain felt terrific. I felt Ray was running as fast as he could. The bright lights coming through my barely opened eyes told me that we were in the hospital. He then lays me gently on a bed.

He was being as gentle as he could, but I was in so much pain. That everything felt like I was being jarred and manhandled. It was not his fault. I felt a needle being placed in my hand. I knew it was Doctor Bernard. Within a few seconds, the pain started to go away. The doctor was giving me pain medication through the IV that he had started.

I then heard yelling in the hall. It sounded like Eric and Ray were having a heated discussion. I knew they were not happy about the situation. I got up from the hospital bed and walked to the door. I swung it open.

"IF YOU TWO DON'T STOP FIGHTING, YOU BOTH CAN LEAVE," I yelled.

I then slammed the door and locked it. I went to lie down on the bed. After a few moments, the yelling in the hallway started to stop. Then there was silence. I waited several minutes before I opened the door. I then walked over to it and opened it.

" Now, gentlemen, are you going to calm down and be civilized," I stated.

The swelling around my eyes was going down. The expressions on their faces were priceless. I did not want to listen to fighting for what little remained of the night, and I was not going to listen to it all day tomorrow. I understood that both men loved me. One was my mate, and one was my brother. But they were not going to destroy their friendship with me. I then walked back to the hospital bed and laid down.

The morphine was starting to get to me. I was getting sleepy and wanted to go back to the pack house and get some sleep.

" Now, Ray, you will take me back to the pack house so I can see my children and get some sleep," I stated.

" You, Eric, will go back to the guest house, shower, and sleep, and we will see you at breakfast," I said.

" Yes, your majesty," Eric responded.

" Yes, my queen," Ray responded to me.

We waited for Doctor Bernard to come check me out and discharge me. I was ready to take a shower and go to bed. The doctor finally came in. He checked me over, and then he wrote me a prescription for some pain medication. He then told me to take it easy. I had no intention of doing this, so I wanted to get things done and leave this place. I have already been attacked once, and I was not going to go through it again.

A car was waiting to take us back to the pack house. Ray got in first, and then I got in the car and sat on his lap. He wrapped his arms around me.

" What happened to Ezekiel," I asked.

" He was taken to the jail," he responded.

" When do the trials start," I asked.

" They will happen tomorrow," he responded.

That is good. I was going to attend them. I wanted to see who was going to be executed and the men that were in the jail that had possibly hurt me. I wanted them to answer for their crimes. I also wanted to know if my suggestion about Leanne was considered. I did not want her to be executed. Maybe Caleb will give her the options. Either way, she was going to pay. But I was hoping she would choose to be whipped instead of dying.

But I don't know. We finally got back to the pack house. The nannies were waiting by the pup's bedroom. They greeted me and apologized that they had failed to protect me. They were there to protect the pups. They did their job. It was partly my fault for what happened to me. I was not paying attention. I was more concerned about following Ray. But the situation was taken care of.

We went into the pups' room. They were already asleep. I gave each of them a kiss. They both smiled. I loved their little, toothless smiles. They always made me smile. I was getting more tired at the moment. We left the pups' bedroom and went to our room. I then went to the bathroom and looked in the mirror. The swelling had gone down a lot. I had black eyes, but I knew by tomorrow, the bruising would barely be visible.

Ray had started the shower and was helping me undress, as it was hard because I was sore. We got in the shower. He leaned against the wall under the shower head, and I leaned against him. I then started crying. As brave as I was trying to be, I was terrified. I was finally where I could cry and shake and let it all out. Ray then gently turned me around, and I put my head on his shoulder and started to cry even harder than before.

" You are OK, my beautiful queen," he stated.

" Let it all out," he stated.
