The Lost Princess Of The Lycans Chapter 31: Dinner for Two

Sarahs POV

We lay there wrapped in each other's arms. Just enjoying the silence and each other's company. That was the most incredible time in the bathtub. I was spent from that activity. I know what I did with my hand. He was surprised that I did that to him. It was the least that I could do for him. I mean he has used his hands twice to get me off. He needed some relief. I was pleased that he was asleep. He needed some rest.

My legs hurt from using them. It has been weeks since I've used my legs. I know he put my pain meds in the drawer of the nightside table. I really needed one for my legs. The bath did help relax my muscles. I scooted over to the edge of the bed and reached for the lap. I accidentally knocked it over. Ray jumped up.

"What's going on?" he asked.

" Are you OK? " He asked.

" Yes, I'm OK. " I whispered.

He then reaches over me and turns the light on. I opened the drawer and got my medicine. I took a couple of them. I then lay back down. He pulls me close.

" Princess, you never stop amazing me, " he states.

"How" I whisper.

" You have been through hell, and you still want to make me happy," he stated.

" I want to be with you forever. Please don't reject me. " I whispered with tears in my eyes.

" My sweet princess, I will never reject you. I love you." he states.

" I love you too," I whispered.

We snuggle up with each other and fall asleep. I start dreaming.

I was running through the woods. Karina jumps out from behind a tree.

" Where have you been? " I asked.

"I've been resting," she stated.

" How are you feeling? " I asked.

"Much better," she stated.

"I'm here to inform you that I'm strong for your first shift," she stated.

"Am I strong enough?" I asked.

"Yes" she stated.

Then she disappeared. I then woke up. I couldn't wait to tell Ray about my dream. I eagerly shook him awake.

" Yes princess," he stated.

" Karina says I'm strong enough to shift," I whispered.

" Whos Karina." he asks.

"She's my wolf." I whispered.

He was shocked that I was able to communicate with my wolf. He was even more shocked that she was ready to meet him. I was anxious for her to come out. I was even more anxious about the pain that comes with your first shift. I have seen wolves pass out from it, and they automatically shift back to human form. Those people were healthier than I am. So I was hoping that she was right, that I was ready and strong enough.

I was thinking about the night's events. When there was a knock at the door, Ray got up and answered the door. It was Mike with dinner. I didn't even know what time it was. I was thankful for the food I was hungry. Mike wheeled the cart in. There are two candlesticks and a bottle of wine. Ray bids him farewell.

Ray then puts a blanket on the floor with some pillows. Then he placed a small table that was low on the ground in the center of the blanket. He then places the two candles in the middle of the table. He proceeds to bring the platters over and sits them on the table and on the floor. They all have lids on them to keep the food warm.

" Dinner is ready, your majesty," he stated and bowed down.

I giggled at his over-emblished bow. It was romantic. He wraps me in a blanket and carries me from the bed to the floor. He opens the platters he put on the table. In one of them is some ham, cheese, crackers and some pickles and olives. I know what they are but have only ever tasted pickles once in my life. On the other platter is a giant salad. Everything looks delicious. I cannot wait to enjoy it. He then lights the candles.

We sit and enjoy our meal. He feeds me an olive. This is quite a romantic picnic. We have a fire going in the fireplace. The candles dimly light the room and the glow from the fireplace creates a welcoming atmosphere. He poured me a glass of wine. I taste it and I don't really like how it tastes. Its bitter.

Ray laughed at the face I made. He then goes to the little refrigerator and gets a soda. I love Mt dew ever since i had my first one coming here. He poured it into a glass. We toast our love. He then removes the platters that had the salad and pickles and olives. He opens the next platter and its chocolate cake. I love chocolate cake. I would sneak bites of the crimps that would be left on the platters when I had to wash dishes. So i knew I would love it. He feeds me a bite of it. At this point, I'm getting full. I feel like I'm going to pop. I ate two more bites.

" You're getting where you can eat more," he states,

" Yes" I whisper.

" Thats good." he state.

"I'm full," I whispered.

" Thats good." he states.

He then picks up all the platters. But the chocolate cake platter and the platter that we did not remove the lid yet. I was curious what was on that platter.

"What's on that one?" I whispered.

He removes the lid. There is fruit on that one along with a chocolate dip. Even though I was full, I tried a strawberry with some chocolate. It tastes so good. I decided to stop eating. I don't want to make myself sick. He pushes the table to the side and leaves the candles burning. He went and got me the pajama pants that i had got, and a tank top. He helped me get dressed, and then he wrapped us up in a blanket. We lay down on the floor and watched the fire burn.
