The Lost Princess Of The Lycans Chapter 43: The Secret

Sarahs POV

I was getting released from the hospital. I had made up my mind to tell Ray everything. What I witnessed while I was a slave and hostage of the White River Clan. Also, what happened to me? There was an attack by a neighboring clan. They had bred with witches. During that attack, I helped a witch escape. She cast a spell on me that would make me stronger. I didn't believe in that and paid no mind to it.

From what happened today, the spell took hold. I'm not a witch but a lycan. We are supposed to be stronger than witches. We do interbreed with other creatures. In our world all things are possible. We all have our true mates. The lycans that mated with witches had rejected their true mates. Those people were banned from the clans. We are always supposed to be with our own kind.

When Ray came into the room I could tell that he was upset.

" If you want to leave, I won't stop you, but I'm not going to reject you," he stated.

" We have everyone in the dungeon," he stated.

" Ray, I didn't run away because I didn't want to be here." I stated.

" I ran away because of the head king." I stated.

"There are things that you don't know that I need to tell you," I stated.

" Ohh." he stated.

" Yes." I stated.

" But I don't want to do it here," I stated.

"That's fine, we will do it at the palace," he stated.

" I would like all your head people there when I tell you," I stated.

" Why?" he asked.

"Because then everyone will know and all of you can decide what to do," I stated.

I knew that after I told everyone that they would probably want to go to war. That means we will be fighting. I also needed to know about this power I have. So he will probably need a witch to help me. He helps me get dressed. He was impressed that I had taken the picture of him off the wall in the library.

" Come on my love, let's get home." he stated.

I shook my head in agreement. He picked me up and carried me. I giggled because I could walk, but he wanted to carry me. I love being close to him. I loved his scent, his touch, and feeling his breath on my skin. We walked to the exit. The black van was waiting for us. Caleb was driving. He climbed in, then placed me on his lap.

"I'm never letting you go." he stated.

Which I was fine with. I didn't want him to let me go. I wanted to stay here. Karina was purring. I knew she was happy with that statement as well. Just as we were driving away from the hospital, there was a white light. The van shut off.

" Caleb, what's going on?" Ray asked.

" I don't know, but there is a woman standing in front of the van," Caleb stated.

I looked out the front of the car and there stood the witch that I had helped escape. I was shocked that she was standing there. How did she find me? Not a lot of people knew where I was. So how did she find out I was there? I guess everyone probably knew where I was. Ray gets out of the van.

He approaches the woman. I don't even know her name. We didn't have time to learn each other's names. I can see that she isn't very comfortable. No one is. This is a very odd situation. Ray comes back to the van.

" She is going to come with us," Ray stated.

" Ok" I state.

To all our surprise, a wolf comes out of the forest, and she climbs on top of it. I believe I have seen that wolf before. But I can't remember where. We drove the rest of the way to the palace in silence. We are all in suspense. We arrived at the palace. Zack comes out of the palace. He stands guard as the witch and wolf enter the palace.

"Sir, will you please shift," Ray asked.

The wolf does as requested. It was Adian. I knew it. He was kicked out of the White River Clan. He was always different than all the others. I turned my head because I did not care to see him naked. He never harmed anybody and pretty much stayed to himself. Ray noticed that I recognized him.

" Sarah, do you know him?" he asked.

" Yes," I replied.

We all went to the room at the end of the hall on the main floor. I have never been in this room before. Truthfully, I didn't spend a lot of time on the first floor. I was always on the other floor.

" Sarah, what is it that you needed us all here to say?" Ray asked.

I explained that I had helped the woman to escape during a battle. Also, I went into detail about the spell she had cast.

" Sarah, my name is Izzy," she stated.

" The spell I cast was to keep you alive until you could escape." she stated.

" Why?" I asked.

"Because I could see you were the princess that went missing and that you were destined for great things. I did not anticipate that it would merge with your DNA. The eyes that people saw today were the eyes of the Wolf witch. I thought it was only a legend," she stated.

What did she mean, the Wolf witch? I have heard of hybrids, put not the legend. Both my parents were lycans. As far as I knew, the only way to get a hybrid was to breed. She then explains that it only happens every million years or so that a witch can cast a protection spell on a wolf and that spell merges with their dna. It doesn't happen very often.

Ray was shaking his head. But I have more to tell. I need to explain why I ran away.

" There is something else I need to tell you." I stated.

" I ran away today because I did not want to run into the king. He also abused me and raped me while I was a captive," I stated.

I had tears in my eyes. I continued to tell them about what type of person he is. Everyone was appalled by what I had said. He was the king, and he was to set the example. Ray roars in disgust and the whole room shakes.
