I then went to our bedroom. I needed to tell Sarah to get ready to travel. We were going to head to the White River Clan.

She was not happy about that, which I expected. She was going back to the place where she had endured so much torment and pain. I was unsure if she had any friends that she wanted to see. Caleb had assured me that the " slave" qaurt4ers had been torn down, and the majority of enslaved people were now being housed in a home where each of them had a bed and were allowed to eat as much as they wanted.

The infant captives were being cared for. A lot of them were still infants and could not talk. Some teenagers had been reunited with their siblings. But that is how far he has gotten. A lot of them refused to speak to him because they were afraid. That is one reason why I wanted to take Sarah there. She could get people to talk. She was good at that. I don't know if it was because she was a former slave or not. But if anything helps, then I'm all for it.

I also told her that our pups would be joining us. But they would be cared for by the nannies while she carried out her duties and helped the people. She was not happy about that announcement. I would have Doctor Bernard examine them to see if feeding them cereal and formula would be all right.
