After having Sarah leave the room, I had Izzy tell me more about this spell that she cast on her. It was very simple that her feelings changed the weather. That's why when she was afraid it was dark outside. When she is angry, thunder and lightning strike. When she is feeling down it rains. When she is cold or anxious, it snows. She had the ability to control the elements if she could just harness the power and be trained on using it.

That is probably why the White River Clan land was always dark. You could really tell the difference without even going into their territory. Because she was always scared or sad. That would explain the drastic weather changes we have had here. When she ran away, it got really dark outside. So now that I know, I will pay attention to her moods.

Izzy gave her that gift after she helped her escape. She also told me about Adian being her mate. He was kicked out of the clan because he was her true mate. Whatever power that was controlling our fate picked our mates for us. I have never kicked anyone out of my clan for being mated with different species. I have had people choose to move where their mate was from because they wanted to.

I would have to call on those people to have their mates help us with this war that I was sure was about to happen. The King of Alpha of this land would want to go to war. The ones faithful to him and the ones that did not support him would be on our side. That I was sure about. That ment that Sarah and I needed to have our mating ceremony soon. That was what I was going to discuss with her tonight.

I will have her start making plans and doing what she needs to. I will also tell her what it all entails. I want her prepared as much as possible. Because I'm sure she knew that if you were taken during a war anything could happen. She was already a prisoner of war once, and she didn't know anything then.

She was well aware of things now. If she is marked, then it will be harder for them to try and sell her. I'm headed to her room. I went to her door and I could smell hot water. She is taking a shower. I quietly crept into the room and told Stacey to leave. Then I ordered dinner for us.

I clean the table that is in the corner, then I drag it to the middle of the room. I threw a white sheet on it. That will have to do as a table cloth. I went and got the candles that were there. I took the chairs that were in the room and put them around the table. Dinner for two. I have a coffee pot in the room. I fill it with water, so I could either make coffee or hot cocoa.

I don't want to dull the senses with alcohol. I want both of us to have clear heads so that way we can discuss this. I know she has had a long day. I do not want it to be any longer. I want to have some romance. But instead of making love like I want to, we are going to have a romantic evening in front of the fire.

I'm sure her leg hurts from her wound. I got everything sat up. I'm waiting for dinner to arrive. She is still in the shower. I wish I had some flowers to top off everything. It still looks good. I hope she likes it. Mike knocked on the door. He wheels the cart in. The food smells so good.

I go into the shower. She has her head tilted back and is enjoying the water. She looks so beautiful. I was truly a lucky man or whatever you want to call me. I could see her through the sliding glass door. I cleared my throat. Thats when she noticed me.

" Hey babe." she stated.

" Yes sweetheart," I responded.

" Are you OK?" she asked.

" Yes, I was just admiring your beauty," I stated.

I know she didn't believe she was beautiful. But one day I will get her to believe it. For now, I'll settle for her blushing every time I call her beautiful.

"I'm just about done," she stated.

" I would join, but we wouldn't get anything accomplished except making love, and we need to talk." I stated.

It is true we would only make love if I joined her. I couldn't help it. She was so beautiful and intoxicating. But that was the mate bond. I wanted to have dinner with her and get this discussion over. There was a lot we needed to discuss. I wanted her to know what was expected of her at the ceremony.

There was a lot that needed to be done.

" I thought before our discussion we would have dinner," I stated.

" But I'm not dressed for dinner," she stated.

" You look amazing," I stated.

It was true she looked beautiful. With her hair in a messy bun and in pajamas.

"I'll be right back," I stated.

I left her room and went to my room. I found my pajamas and put them on. So that way we are both dressed in our pajamas. I really didn't care what she wore, she would always be beautiful.

" Now we both aren't dressed for dinner," he stated.

She giggled and ran into my arms. I then carried her over to her chair and gently placed her on the chair. I then uncovered all the dishes. I had decided that we would have a steak dinner. I then went to the refrigerator and got her a Mountain Dew and me a coke. I turned the coffee pot on and made some coffee.

" We need to talk about the mating ceremony. We need to have it in a couple of days," I stated.

" I agree," she responded.

" Don't ever do that again," I stated.

" I will never do that again, I promise," she responded.

We ate dinner in a comfortable silence. I then made some coffee. She looked at the sugar and creamer. I could tell she was unsure how to make a cup of coffee. So I added some sugar and cream to her coffee. I could tell by the look on her face she wasn't very fond of it.
