The Lost Princess Of The Lycans Chapter 79: Executions

Sarahs POV

He finished working on the computer, and we went to dinner. Nina had already pulled my chair out and had my plate waiting for me. She was standing behind her chair. I went to sit down and Ray pulled me onto his lap. I giggled.

" What are you doing?" I whispered in his ear.

" Keeping you close." he whispered back.

He must have missed me as much as I missed him. We ate dinner like that. Everyone was staring at us. I did not care. Nina's parents gave us that look like they knew. They were even holding hands. They must have been mates for a while now. We finished eating dinner, and then it was time for the executions. I was not looking forward to that part of the day.

We went out and there were two chairs. The condemned prisoners were brought forth one at a time. First was the former queen. She was sentenced to execution. Everyone was there. She tried begging for her life. But Ray was not having it. He gave her the choice to either fight to death or to be beheaded. She chose to be beheaded.

Then came alpha mark. He was still throwing curses. He challenged Ray to fight to the death. I hated that. I tried to tell Ray to just behead him. But he honored his request. It was a bloody fight. Ray did get injured but he was OK. Alpha Mark, on the other hand, was killed. Then came Roland.

I hated the man. When he was brought before us, he growled at me. Ray was going to have no part of that. He got up and walked up to him and slapped him. That enraged Roland more. He was fighting against the chains that were holding him. He than spoke.

" I see you are mated to a whore." he stated.

" That is the queen you were speaking about," Ray stated.

" She is no whore." Ray stated.

" You are the bastard and the villain here," Ray stated.

" I am no villain," he stated.

" She is a slave," he stated.

After that statement, Ray had enough of him and just beat him. The whole time Ray was beating him he was laughing. That enraged Ray more. Caleb pulled Ray off him. Then out of nowhere there were wolves everywhere. There are hundreds of wolves. Everyone that came to the gathering was transformed into wolves.

Everyone must have shifted at the same time. They were surrounding Caleb and Roland. Were they for us or for him? Then they all started attacking Roland. Caleb was thrown out of the way. He got up and went on the platform with myself and Ray. Nina and her parents had shifted into their wolves and were standing in front of me.

There were hundreds of wolves attacking Roland. I thought that they were former slaves. After the dust settled and they wer done attacking him. He was dead. They all turned and bowed to Ray and me. I was still shaking when Ray came up behind me.

" They did it for you," he stated.

" They did," I asked.

"Yes, they were not going to take him verbally attacking you." he stated.

I then bowed to them, and they all shifted back to their human form. I again bowed to them. That was not something I was expecting. Even the babies that were in my stomach were jumping around. It was strange that they would risk their lives for me. There were a couple more executions and then we were done for the evening. All the prisoners that were in the make-shift prison had been executed.

The day was done. I was thankful for that. We went back into the palace. I needed to take a moment and gather myself. I was really upset about what Roland had said. I went straight to the bathroom and cried. I was sitting in the bathtub crying when I felt Rays' arms around me. He pulled me close and I just let the tears flow. I cried for what seemed like forever.

Ray held me the whole time. I had finished crying and then Ray picked me up out of the bathtub and put me down on the chair that was in the bathroom. He ran a hot bath. He lit a candle and put bubbles in the bath. He then undressed himself and then helped me get undressed. He then climbed into the bathtub and had me get in between his legs.

He then started to pour hot water on my head and down my back. I lay against his chest. He wrapped his arms around me and I laid my head on his arm. We stayed like that for a while. Then he started to pour water over my head and down my back. He then grabbed some shampoo and washed my hair. He then grabbed the body wash and washed me.

After that, the water had started to get cold. He left the bathroom. He came back with a towel and wrapped it around me and carried me to the bedroom. He had made a bed on the floor and lit a fire in the fireplace. There was a knock on the door. Ray went and answered it. I could hear talking, but I did not know who was there. Ray came back to the bed he had made on the floor.

" Who was that?" I asked.

" It was Nina," he answered.

" What did she want?" I asked.

" She wanted to tell you good night." he stated.

" I told her I would tell you, and you would see her in the morning," he stated.

That was fine with me. He then wrapped his arms around me. We were still both naked. He then got up and went and got a blanket. He wrapped it around both of us. We sat in front of the fireplace for a while. He then started kissing me. We ended our kiss and laid down on the bed. I cuddled up to him, and he wrapped his arms around me.

The babies started moving again. They were really active tonight. It made it hard to sleep. I tossed and turned. Finally, my moving around woke Ray up.

" What is wrong baby," he asked.

" The babies won't settle down," I stated.

" What did Dr. Bernard, say today." he asked.

" That it would be a couple of months before it was time and that they are good," I stated.

" What did he say about your health?" he asked.

"I'm doing excellent," I stated.

Then we heard a noise in the hallway.
