Sarahs POV

I got hit by a fireball that the man fired. I was knocked out. When I came to, Ray was standing over my bed. I had an ice pack on my head. My ears were ringing, and my head hurt something awful.

" Take it easy baby." Ray stated.

" You have had a long day," Ray stated.

I wanted to say what you think. But I kept quiet. I could tell that he had been in a fight. I didn't want to upset him.

" Are my babies OK?" I asked.

" Yes, our pups are fine." he stated.

I let out a breath of relief. I hope Karina is all right as well. Yes, we are one and the same, but I wanted to make sure she was OK.

" Karina, are you OK?" I asked.

Yes, I was talking to her in my mind.

" Yes, I'm fine." she stated.

" You don't need to be so sassy with Ray," she stated.

"He's only looking out for you," she stated.

" I know." I responded.

Karina crawled back into her corner of my mind. Everyone was all right. Now was the time to learn how to control these powers of mine.

" Ray, I need to learn how to control these powers and how to use them properly." I stated.

" Yes, darling, but not today." he stated.

" Today you need to rest," he stated.

" I still want to visit the elder's house," I stated.

I do not know what happened to the food I was going to take to them. But I still wanted to visit them.

" Yes you will get a chance to visit them," he stated.

" But you need to rest today and the food is delivered to them," he stated.

" Ray, we need to talk about the orphanage," I stated.

" Yes we do."

I explained to him about the understaffing and that Alma was redirecting funds. I did not know how the kingdom was making its money. I really didn't want to get involved in that. I trusted Ray. He had his business. My business was making sure the subjects were taken care of. Also, I would work in the orphanage. I wanted to make sure those kids were taken care of properly.

I believe Alma was selling those teenagers into slavery. But using that they were adopted. When I looked at the books briefly, several of the teenagers were adopted by the same couple. There was no way that a couple would adopt thirteen teenagers. I was going to go to those people and see for myself that they were actually being taken care of.

If they are not being treated properly, I will take them back. Ray was just sitting there in the room. He had brought me some tylenol for my head. The headache was starting to go away. I was lying in bed. I had spent so much time in bed lately that I was beginning to hate bed.

I scooted to the edge of the bed. I sat there for a moment and looked around. The remodel was finished, to my surprise. The windows had baby blue curtains that had flowers on them. The carpet was a light blue. The canopy around the bed was also a light blue. You could untie the canopy and get some privacy.

The bed is now a king-sized bed. The bed frame had pillars attached to it. The sheets were navy blue, the same as the blankets. The furniture was a dark color too. I assumed everything was blue. Since that is mine and Rays favorite color. The door that led to Ray's room had been removed. The bathroom was still in the same spot.

"I'm going to go get us some lunch." Ray said.

" OK, I would really like a hamburger," I stated.

" As you wish," he said.

He bowed and left the room. I went to the door and looked inside. What I saw, I let out a very big squeal. I ran inside the room. It had been turned into a nursery with two cribs and a big changing table. Everything was a beautiful yellow. I loved it like that. There was a rocking chair. There are two dressers. Ray must have told the decorator about the twins coming.

I was starting to show. I knew it wouldn't be much longer before they would be here. I was excited and scared all at the same time. I heard every expecting mother had these feelings. I walked over to where the dressers were. I opened up the top drawer. The top drawer was filled with diapers. The second one had onessies in it. The third one had little matching outfits in it. The very bottom one had socks and shoes.

Ray thought about everything. I went to the second dresser, and it was sat up the same way. I was very pleased. I looked in the cribs and there were a couple of stuffed animals. In each crib. There were blankets that were flooded nicely at the end of each bed. I didn't think we needed anything more. There were shelves with extra blankets and towels for them. In the corner were boxes that hadn't been opened yet. There was a double stroller and a playpen in a box as well.

I was excited to be able to eventually use these. The only thing we needed for the babies was some toiletries. I still wanted to go shopping and get a few things myself. I wanted to pick out some outfits myself. It must be a mom thing. I was sitting in the rocking chair when I heard our bedroom door open. That is Ray with our lunch.

" Where are you Sarah?" he called.

"I'm in the nursery," I stated.

I was rocking back and forth in the rocking chair. When he walked in with our food, he stopped in the doorway and just stared at me.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

" Nothing, you just look amazing is all," he stated.

I blushed a deep crimson. I didn't know why he thought I looked that amazing. I mean in my condition. I was still gaining weight, but I was not where I needed to be. This pregnancy was rough on my body. But I know everything is going to be alright. Ray spread a blanket out on the floor of the nursery. He sat up our lunch.

He got me my hamburger and some fries. He got himself a sandwich and chips.
