The Lost Princess Of The Lycans Chapter 74: My Stubborn Queen

King Ray POV

After I said that, she looked me up and down. She saw the blood on my shirt. I know what she is thinking. Is it hers or the girls? The girl was taken to the dungeon and is awaiting execution. I hit her on the head with my fist. She was sitting in a corner crying after she stabbed Sarah. I wanted to rip her apart, but Sarah needed medical treatment, so I had her taken to the dungeon.

" What happened to the girl that stabbed me?" she asked.

"She's in the dungeon," I responded.

"What's going to happen to her?" she asked.

" She will be put to death," I stated.

" Ohh." was all she said.

The girl was so young I wondered who put her up to it. A girl of that age doesn't do anything like that unless she is told to or if she has something to lose. No matter what the reason was, she would still be put to death. It was the law that anyone trying to kill the queen was put to death. No matter the age.

" Ray, let me talk to her before you kill her." she stated.

" Baby no." I responded.

" Yes, I'm going to talk to her." she stated.

" No you're not," I stated.

Sarah got real quiet after that. Maybe she heard me and is going to do what I want her to do or not do. To my surprise, she started ripping the leads to the machines off, and she ripped out the IV.

" What are you doing?" I asked.

" I'm going to talk to that girl whether you approve of it or not," she stated.

I was still in shock as she changed back into her clothes. What happened to that girl who was afraid of everything? She has definitely come into her own. She is beautiful when she is stubborn. I was still going to let her go to the dungeon. She got out the door and was halfway down the hall before I caught up with her.

" Where do you think you are going, little mate?" I asked.

" I'm going to the dungeon." she stated.

" No you are not," I stated.

" Yes, I am Ray and you are not going to stop me," she stated.

That is where she is wrong. I'm going to stop her. I picked her up and flung her over my shoulder. The whole time she is kicking and screaming to put her down. But I refused to. I walked back to the palace and straight to the room we were going to be staying in. I ploped her on the bed and walked out. The whole time she is yelling something at me. But I didn't hear a word of what she was yelling.

That blasted woman is going to be the death of me. I stormed out of the place and growled at Caleb to guard her with his life and not to let her out of the room. Or he would end up in the dungeon. The look on his face was that of understanding as I was storming out. I jump off the stairs and shift into Nash.

It seemed like hours before we quit running. The sun had started going down. We finally felt all our anger and rage leave our body. We trotted back to the palace. Caleb is waiting for me. He has a change of clothes for me. I quickly got dressed.

" Do you feel better, your majesty?" he asked.

" Yes I do." I stated.

" Is Sarah still yelling?" I asked.

" No, she quit about 10 minutes after you left," he stated.

WOW, that was surprising. She was pretty determined to go and talk to the girl. I wonder what she is doing. I'm probably going to get something thrown at my head the minute I walk into the room. She wasn't very violent. But she has blossomed. She has found her voice. Which I do not know if that is a good thing or not.

I knocked on the door and got no answer. Maybe she is asleep. I suddenly felt a breeze coming from underneath the door. Did she open a window? What is going on? I tried to open the door, and it was locked. Great she is still pissed at me. I'm not the one who stabbed her. It was that girl. I tried the door again. It's still locked. I had had enough of her nonsense. I kicked the door open.

To my horror, she is not in bed. Where is she? I go and check the bathroom. She is not there either. Where is she? I then let Nash come forward so he could track her scent. It leads to the window. She went out the window. We then followed it to the back of the palace where two of my guards were.

" Did you see the queen?" I asked.

" Yes, we let her go down into the dungeon," the guard stated.

" YOU WHAT?" I shouted.

" She said that you told her she could." he stated.

She is going to get a spanking when I get to her. What is she thinking? She wants to talk to that girl. SHe is truly a queen. I wish she would listen to me. Regardless of what the girl's motives are, she is going to be put to death. It is the law. I didn't write the law. It has been passed down from generation to generation.

I went into the dungeon and followed her scent to the very end of the hallway. She is sitting outside the girl's cell. She has a couple of guards with her.

" Sarah, can I speak to you?" I asked her.

"Yes," she stated.

We went around the corner away from everyone else.

" What are you doing here?" I asked.

" I told you I was going to talk to her," she stated.

" You jumped out of the window to talk to her." I stated.

" What is wrong with you? You could have gotten hurt, and you could have put our babies in danger," I stated.

She was starting to coward down to me. Which I did not want. But she needed to know I was not happy with her.

" What did you find out?" I asked.

" Her parents are somewhere in this dungeon," She stated.

" The former queen told her she would let her parents go." she stated.

" I will get to the bottom of that, but will you please get out of here," I asked.

She agreed. I then talked to the girl. Her parents were in the dungeon because they refused to attack me and the queen. This does change the situation.
