The Lost Princess Of The Lycans Chapter 177: Attempting To Show Mercy

Sarah POV

I jumped off the stage and ran to where Leanne was. I stopped ten steps from her." I bet you are happy that I'm going to die," she stated.

" No, I'm not happy about it," I responded.

The expression she had on her face was that of shock. Yes, I wanted revenge for what she did to me. She always got me beat and had me tortured because she did not like the look I had on my face, stuff that was ridiculous that nobody should be beaten for. I want her to listen to my reasoning.

" I'm here to plead with you to get a whipping instead of dying," I stated.

" Why would I do that? ""I was going to be the next Luna until you found your mate, and you had the previous alpha killed and Junior banished," she responded.

" Please listen to me and beg for mercy," I responded to her.

She then started running at me. She kicked me in the stomach so hard that it knocked me over, and she was on top of me and was choking me with her shackles. I rolled to my side, and she fell off me. I then got up and kicked her in the stomach. She was on all fours, trying to get up, when I kicked her in the stomach again. I started positioning my hands like I would prepare to fire a fireball at her.

Ray was in front of me in a flash.

" Sarah, this is not how we handle things," he stated.

" Ray, move now," I responded to him.

" No, princess, you need to calm down," he stated.

I was willing to put everything she did to me aside and beg for mercy for her. But now, I was not going to do that. She was going to be tortured and beaten like I was.

" RAY, GET OUT OF THE WAY," I shouted at Ray.

He was behind me and holding me back from going after Leeanne.

" I should have killed you when I had a chance," she stated.

I remember the night she was talking about. Roland had beaten me so badly he thought I was dead. He took me out in the woods and dumped me like I was a piece of garbage. Leanne had followed him. When he dumped me, I groaned in pain. She shouted that I was still alive. She had her hands around my throat, trying to choke what little life I still had in me. Roland stopped her and took me back to the slave quarters and ordered the other slaves to clean me up and tend to my wounds.

I slowly got better.

" Yes, you should have," I responded to her.

I then pushed past Ray. I was on top of her, hitting her with my fist. The building started to shake from the thunder that was happening outside. She began to scream. Then she started to beg for me to stop.

" You should have taken my offer," I stated.

" I wanted you to be able to find your true mate and have babies and a life," I stated.

" Please don't kill me," she begged.

" There is nothing I can do now," I responded.

" You tried to kill Chrissy, the Luna of your clan. "Then you attacked the queen of Lycans," I stated.

I pulled her to her knees. She had tears running down her face. I told the truth, and there was nothing I could do now. One offense might have been shown mercy. But attacking the queen was not acceptable. Ray was beside me, helping me back to my chair. I sat down and started rocking.

" Is there anything you want to say about the accused," Caleb asked.

" No, I do not," I responded.

" Then the accused is sentenced to death," he stated,

I then looked away from Leanne as she started bawling. I kept my head down for the next couple of prisoners that were brought in. Then, the very last prisoner who was brought in was Ezekiel. I looked up to stare him in the eyes. He was shocked that I was there and that I was healing pretty well. He thought that I was still in a weakened state. I was stronger than ever. Leeanne was still in the building. She was quietly crying.

" Sir, what do you have to say in your defense?" Ray stated.

" Yes, I should have killed the bitch instead of toying with her," he responded.

Ray grabbed the arms of his chair to stop himself from jumping off the stage and going after him.

" You are sentenced to death," he said through gritted teeth.

" I have a better idea," I stated.

" If we could talk among ourselves for a minute," I stated.

I then stood up and walked to the back of the stage. I knew Chrissy was with pups. I was not going to include her in this.

" What is it?" Ray asked.

" How would you feel about having him fight each of us?" I stated.

" Sarah, that is not a good idea," Ray stated.

" I agree with Ray," Caleb stated.

" But he could fight you both, then after, he could be whipped and quartered and then beheaded," I stated.

" I will agree with that," Ray and Caleb both stated.

We then went back to our chairs. They then told him what he was sentenced to. The look on his face was that of shock. I don't think anyone has ever been punished like that. Sentenced to fight the king of alphas and the alpha of the clan at the same time, then to be whipped and quartered, beheaded. He would be dead before he was beheaded. But that did not matter. It was meant to send a message to people that this kind of behavior would be tolerated. That was all the trial. It was getting late in the day.

It was already lunchtime. We went to the house where we were staying. Mike had lunch ready. We sat in the kitchen, eating lunch in silence. Ray had me sit on his lap, and I ate off his plate. Ray had the doctor come over and check me out to make sure my fight with Leeanne did not do any more damage. I was fine. After I was done eating, I went to check on the pups. They were rolling around on the floor when I walked into their room. I sat down on the floor and reached out for both of them.

I put Isabella in my lap first, then reached out for Raymond. I then put him in my lap. I held them close and rocked them. I knew that they were going to be raised right. Yes, someday Isabella might be a Luna of a clan. She might be queen, but she would be kind and loving. Raymond was going to be king someday. I knew Ray would raise him right and teach him how to be kind, caring, and merciful. He would also learn how to treat his queen.

Ray treated me well in private and in public. He showed how much he loved me and cared for me. The pups would grow up in a loving home. This evening was going to be the executions. I had hoped I could get through to Leeanne, but she showed me she was still upset over Junior. He was never going to be with me. He was pleasant to me. We never had feelings for each other. I have one more chance to show her mercy. I put the pups down on the floor and went to talk to Ray and Caleb.
