The Lost Princess Of The Lycans Chapter 155: Crazy Night

Rays POV

After breakfast with Sarah, I went to the office and reviewed some bank statements and finance reports. I then looked up the White River Clan borders again, as I needed a clear picture of their borders in my head. I'm sure that they would have a map there, but I wanted to make sure it was accurate. I was looking over the map when one of my nannies mind-linked me.

" Your Majesty, there is a strange wolf in the house," she stated.

" Have Sarah go into the nursery with the pups and lock the door," I replied.

" She has already done so," she replied.

That was my girl. She knew what to do even without being told her priority was to protect the pups and then herself, and she quickly got out of my chair and went to the living room where this man was waiting. He was completely naked, and I could tell he was a member of the shadow clan. Why is he here? What does he want, and why is he standing naked in my living room? Not appreciating that, he did it before Sarah and scared her. I will ask her later, but in the meantime, I will get to the bottom of this and find out what he wants.

" Can I help you, sir?" I asked.

" Your majesty, my name is Dylan," he replied.

"OK, I know your name, but not what you want," I replied.

I did not care what his name was. I wanted to know what he wanted. He was a member of the shadow clan. That was one clan that was forgotten and never mentioned. They were made up entirely of rogues, and we did not deal with them unless it was wartime. He must be the alpha of the clan. If you want to, call him the alpha. They were rogues, and they did not belong to a clan anymore.

But I decided that I would indulge him.

" State what you want and leave," I stated.

He then went on to say that one of his warriors had found his mate in my clan and was asking permission for them to meet. I had not heard of anyone finding their mate during the battle. It was not uncommon for that to happen. He then gave me his report on his losses and injuries. I thanked him for his help and sternly talked to him about turning up here in wolf form and then shifting to his human form in front of Sarah. He apologized for doing that.

I was pleased that he was so humble. I then handed him some shorts and a T-shirt and sent him on his way. I still had work to do. I needed to plan our route to the White River clan. I was going to be extra cautious because I knew whoever wanted Sarah's blood could set a trap for us on the way there. I was going to make sure that they were kept safe at all times. I had arranged for at least a hundred warriors to accompany us.

There would be six vans. We would be in the third van. The warriors would be in the vans in front of us and behind us. Plus, there would be warriors in the van with us. The nannies would be coming with us. I told Randy to go ahead and load our luggage. We were leaving tomorrow evening. We were leaving at night because nobody would expect that. Everyone travels during the day. Not a lot of people travel at night. That would be the safest way to travel.

I had finished my business with Dylan. I then went to find Sarah. I needed to be near her. I missed her today. I miss her every day. I don't like being away from her. But I do have things to do. I know she is around because I can smell her intoxicating scent all day. Randy and the other guards were still by the door. I dismissed them and then went into our room. One of the nannies was standing outside the bathroom.

" I'm assuming the queen is in there," I stated.

" Yes, your majesty," she replied.

" You are dismissed. "I will take over now guarding the queen," I stated.

She then bowed and went back to the nursery. I opened the door and stared at her beauty. She had her eyes closed, relaxing. She then lifted her head and smiled. I knew I would not last long standing at the door. She could smell my scent. I walked over to her and kissed her on the forehead. I gave her a half-smile, then left the room. I went into the bedroom. I heard her exit the bathtub, and she entered the bedroom. She walked over to me and hugged me. I nuzzled my mark, and it was very comforting. After a while, she sat on my lap, and I held her.

I then got up, changed into shorts, and we lay on the bed. I pulled her close to me and held her. We fell asleep. We weren't asleep for long when there was a banging on the door. I got up and answered the door. It was terrible news. Rogue lycans were attacking from the north. I immediately ran out the door and down the hall.

When we got outside, I leaped into the air and transformed into Nash. Why were we being attacked again? They were all rogues. I knew that much, but why were they attacking us? A young one was charging at me. I dodged him, and he landed on all fours and tried to charge me again. This time, I bit into his ankle and locked my jaw. I was not letting go. I tossed my head back and forth until I heard his ankle snap.

He let out a yelp. I then let go, and he was not going anywhere fast. I had one of the younger warriors stand guard while I continued to fight. I managed to locate the leader and then charged at him. I had him by the throat. I could taste his blood in my mouth. He was whimpering and thrashing around, trying to get out of my grasp. Finally, he passed out from lack of air. When he fell, all the other rogues stopped advancing and retreated.

I then shifted back into human form. The rogues that were down did the same thing.

" Who are you, and what do you want?" I screamed at them.

" We will not tell," they replied.

I walked over and punched them in the face. They would tell me what was going on and why they were attacking. Brittany was going to participate in this interrogation, but Sarah was not. I did not need her powers. I wish that Donald had not left, yet I could use him. He can tell when people are lying or telling the truth. His kingdom wasn't far away. I could call him and have him come. We then dragged them to the dungeon.

I went to check on Sarah and see if she was OK. She was sitting up in bed with her knees pulled up to her chest. I knew she was scared. She let out a sigh of relief. I walked over to the bed and sat down on it. I then pulled her to me and put her on my lap. She wrapped her arms around me in a tight hug. She examined me and would not let me go until she was sure that I was not hurt.
