The Lost Princess Of The Lycans Chapter 164: A Prophecy
King Rays POV
I dialed Donald's number. He picked it up before it even rang.
" Yes, Ray, what is going on? Where is Sarah?" he asked.
" I do not know we were attacked on the road," I responded.
" I will be there soon," he stated.
He was quick to get to me.
" Where would they take her?" I asked.
He explained that there was a laboratory ten miles north of where we were. He was pretty sure that Richard had taken her. When I get my hands on him, he's a dead man. Nobody takes my mate. Especially someone who wants her dead to take her blood. He then drew a diagram of the laboratory in the dirt and explained where to attack it, which would be the easiest way to get entry. We then headed north.
When we got there, it was not heavily guarded. They had assumed that nobody was able to find it. It was cloaked to appear to be part of the landscape. But not everyone has a witch to help them. We arrived at the laboratory. We then surrounded it, and Myself Caleb, Brittany, Donald, and Doctor Bernard attacked from the left, where Donald thought it would be easiest. There were only two guards. They were not well-trained as witches. They tried to fight us without their power. Donald hit both of them with a fireball, and they were down.
We got into the building and started our search for Sarah. It did not take us long, as there were people screaming. We ran toward the screams. We did not have to fight, as they were running away from something. I ripped the door to where an orange light was coming from. I stood frozen as I saw Karina covered in fire, but she was not burning. Instead, she was as calm as could be. She had a man against a wall.
He was in as much shock as I was. I spoke to Karina, who had Ruby's voice. Is the prophecy true? That a Lycan who is half Lycan half-witch is the fire wolf. It looked like it was so. Karina attacked the man whose name was Richard. After they tore him to shreds, she shifted back to Sarah, who fell to the floor. It must have taken a lot out of her. I looked around the room, and hanging by a metal table were two small bags of blood.
That must be Sarah's blood.
" Take those bags of blood and destroy anything that might have her DNA on it," I stated.
I was going to make sure that no one could clone anything. I had no idea about cloning, but the pups were already a product of her mating with me. That was going to be a handful. I ran over to Sarah and picked her up. In less than a flash, I was at the house we would be staying in, and I gently put her on the bed. I then had Doctor Bernard come and check on her.
" Your majesty, she looks fine, but I do not know how much they took from her, " he said.
" I won't know until she wakes up," he stated.
" Thank you. That will be all for now, Doctor Bernard," I stated.
I then waved him off. I pulled up a chair and sat on it. I gently picked up her hand and placed it in mine. I then lightly kissed it.
" My beautiful queen, please survive. I need you, and the pups need you," I told her.
She was still passed out. I do not know if she heard me or not. I knew she was not dying, but that could change any second. The doctor did not know how much blood they took from her. I'm praying that it was only the two bags. She did look paler than usual. This poor woman had been through so much, and I had a feeling that she was going to have to endure a lot more before her life was over.
Brittany then came into the room.
" You know, if you wanted to see me, you didn't need Sarah to get kidnapped," she said playfully.
She was trying to get me to laugh, but I was not in a laughing mood. I gave her a weak smile. She shrugged, got another chair, and pulled it up to the bed.
" Go check on the pups and see how they are doing," she stated.
She was right. I needed to see how they were doing. The rooms were not connected, but the nannies had brought their playpen with us to put them to sleep so they would have something safe. I got up and went to check on the pups. They were asleep when I entered the bedroom where they would be staying. I walked over to their playpen and stared at them. Isabella looked so much like Sarah, and Raymond had her nose. I started crying.
I could not imagine this life without Sarah. I would be so lost; I would not know what to do. She keeps me sane, and she is an excellent mother. Making her come with me was the worst decision I made. She was kidnapped on the way here. Almost killed, and then the incident with the fire wolf. Speaking of, I need to talk to Donald about that. I bent over the playpen and kissed the pups. I then said goodnight to the nannies and went to find Donald.
I knew Brittany was with her, and she would be okay with that. Brittany would take care of her while I was gone, and as soon as I got done talking to Donald, I was walking down the hall when I ran into Randy, Brittany's mate. I was surprised that he was there. I thought he would have stayed behind to manage things while she was gone. That makes me wonder who is in charge. I will deal with that later. I was sure Brittany had put someone in charge who was capable of handling things for a day or two,
We were on the way to the stairs when I ran into Donald.
" Just the man I wanted to see," I stated.
" I was looking for you," he responded.
" I knew you would have some questions," he stated.
Yes, he was damn right. I had some questions.
"Let's go to my room and talk," he stated.
I followed him to his room. I sat on a chair and waited for an explanation. He started to explain to me that not only had the spell fused with Sarah's DNA but that the prophecy that Sarah was the fire wolf was true. He told me that witches would speak about it. A lycan would have a protection spell cast on them, and it would fuse with their DNA, but the witch's spirit would enter the body, and then the fire wolf was created.
That was not what I wanted to hear. Now, Sarah was part of a prophecy which would just put her in more danger. I'm going to have to tell her about it because I knew she would be freaked out when she was awake and knew about what had happened. This has been a very interesting trip so far. After speaking with Donald, I went back to Sarah. When I walked in, Brittany was washing her forehead with a wash cloth. I walked over to the bed and grabbed her hand, so I could hold it again.
Then Doctor Bernard came in and rechecked Sarah. He then said that we needed to transfuse her and put her blood back in her. She fell asleep.
