The Lost Princess Of The Lycans Chapter 51: The Mating Ceremony

Sarah POV

Today was the day that I was going to be marked. We had breakfast at the kitchen table. I chose to have the ceremony in the garden. It was so pretty. It was designed in a circle of sorts. On the right side were rows of roses. There were pink, yellow, red, and white. The way they were arranged was perfect. Then there was an open green patch of grass.

In the next flower patch were tulips. They are pink, white and red. They were all intermingled among themselves. It was beautiful. Then right behind that was another patch of green grass. This patch was pretty big. I could run down the rows and shift with ease.

On the left were more roses and tulips. Right in the middle was a gazebo. I had them decorated with white and pink streamers. The entrance to it was perfect for me to come back after I shifted and carried the king. I was still regaining my strength, but I knew I could do this. Also, the flowers weren't so tall that you couldn't see me being marked.

I know a lot of couples marked their mates in just the presence of the king. But since I was going to be queen, there had to be witnesses. So that way there was no disputing who marked me. I will smell like him all the time after today. There was no turning back. Which I had no intention of doing. After I carried Ray, he would shift into his wolf. Then we would run up and down the rows and greet the people.

As queen and king. Then I would go into a little hut and change into the clothes that I had picked out for dancing and the feast. All the important guests would be seated up front and then the other guests in the back. To me, everyone was important.

Everyone was starting to show up. I was dressed in my white-cream colored dress. It was a little snug in the bodice. There was noticeable lace to outline my breast. It had baby-doll sleeves that covered my shoulders and a little bit of lace there as well. It came past my knees and flared out. It was good for spinning. The back was open.

I had already laid out my clothes that I would transform into my wolf. I really didn't care if they got shredded. But I did not want to be naked in front of everyone. I know others were not ashamed of showing their naked self to people. I was still self-conscious. I greeted the guest. I left the people and went to get ready to walk to the king.

There was the official of the ceremony. Ray was waiting for me as I walked up the aisle. I went and stood by the Ray. I was asked if I was ready to become his life mate.

" Princess Sarah, do you take King Ray as your life mate?" he asked.

" I do." I stated.

" Do you, King Ray, take Princess Sarah as your life mate?" he asked.

" I do" King Ray replied.

" You then may mark her your majesty," he said.

Ray licked and kissed the spot where he was going to mark me. His tongue was sending shock waves to other parts of my body. That was all to do with numbing the spot. There was something on his tongue that would make it less painful. He then elongated his teeth. He bit down. The bite was bearable, and it was also turning me on. I was having a hard time containing myself. I wanted to rip his clothes off and make love to him right then and there.

My legs got shaky, and I almost fell, but Ray caught me.

" If you want, we can skip the next part of the ceremony," he whispered in my ear.

" No, I want to show everyone that I can be a strong queen and luna." I whispered back.

We then turned around, and you could see where the blood had stained my dress. It would forever be there. Which I didn't mind. I would go to the mall later and get another one. I then went to the little partition that had been sat up. I changed into shorts and a tank top. I then went out.

I bow down to King Ray and then to everyone else. I then ran at full speed and leaped into the air. I shift mid-flight. Karina lands on all fours. I ran up to Ray, and he climbed onto my back. I paraded him up and down the aisles. We then went back to the gazebo. He shifts to Nash.

We both then go around the circle and greet our subjects. Then, all of a sudden, there were wolves everywhere. The people at the ceremony are still in human form.

" We are under attack," Nash states.

" What do you mean we are under attack?" Karina asks.

" Get yourself to Brittany NOW." Nash ordered me.

I don't stand around and argue. I'm running towards where I last saw Brittany. She has shifted. She and Calebs Wolf circle around me and stand in front of me. We are all growling. I'm pissed they ruined my ceremony. Someone will pay for this. There are three wolves charging at us. I duck just in time as one tries to go for my throat.

I remembered a little about fighting from watching the warriors at White River Clan. All of a sudden, everything went green. Then a howl I had never heard was let out and trees started flying everywhere. What was going on? Where was the witch that was using the elements to help us fight? Izzy was not at the ceremony because she had to go get her people prepared for the war.

So who was doing this? Then I realized it was me. I'm scared and everything is happening because of the powers the witch bestowed upon me. There were wolves impaled on trees. None of the guests were hurt. They had shifted to their wolves as well. They were ready to defend me and Ray. I couldn't find Ray. I knew he wasn't injured, but where was he?
