The Lost Princess Of The Lycans Chapter 128: Ready To Get Out Of Bed

Sarah POV

After trying to get up and go to the nursery, I fell, and Ray was at my side as fast as lightning. I decided then not to argue with him about staying in bed for a few days. I watched as they moved things into our room, mainly a desk and a box of papers. I knew that he had work to do. I had no idea when war would happen, and he was making sure that we would be ready for it.

The nannies brought me the pups while moving things into the room. I nursed them and then held them for a while. I want them close right now. So did Karina. She wanted to know that her pups were fine. After a while, Ray took them back to the nursery. Today was a long day, but I did get things accomplished. I wonder who that lycan was and why he attacked me.

I lay down again and fell asleep. I wasn't asleep for long when the pups woke up again. I went to get out of bed again, but Ray stopped me. He meant that I would stay in bed for a few days, which is going to be hard for me. I enjoy doing things, caring for the pups, and helping where I can. I wouldn't get any better at fighting by staying in bed. But that is what the doctor ordered.

I could hear Ray in the nursery tending to the pups. It sounded like he struggled a bit with changing their diapers, but he got it done. He brought them to me, so I could nurse them. I finished nursing them, and the nannies took them back to the nursery. I had settled back in bed and would have Ray bring a book to read when there was a knock on the door.

I could not see very well. Ray had hung up a curtain to try to deaden the light so as not to bother me. He yelled," Come in!" and then I heard a woman's voice and some muffled talking, and then the door closed. I assume he took her out to the living room. I did hear that she was Donald's daughter. My head started to hurt. I then heard Rubys' voice.

" I want to see my niece," she stated.

"I'm sure she will be around, and we will meet her soon," I responded.

" I know," she responded.

It is hard when you have many voices in your head, but that is the way of life. We have a wolf and then our human form. But not everyone has a witch in them, so I wonder if witches have that. I will have to ask Izzy and Donald. Both Donald is the king of witches, so I'm sure he will know I was deep in thought when I heard the front door open.

Our bedroom was in front of the house, so we could hear what was going on. This house was just for the Alpha and his family. The pack house was still being built. That was where there would be lodging for the warriors who were single or if their mates wanted to live with them before they started a family. Ray had made sure that there was plenty of room for everyone.

The palace had been torn down. Things were being built, and the buildings were almost done. But things had to be put on hold because of the war. The warriors had to return to training every day to make them ready, and patrols had to be more frequent. I was laid up in bed but felt fine, and my thinking was not fuzzy or impaired. I want to get up and resume my duties.

I needed to do things before everything happened. I know how to control my powers now, and I have helped slaves and children be reunited with their families. But I still needed more training. I had plans with Izzy to learn more about my powers. Ruby wanted to come forward and meet her niece. But right now was not a good time. Ray was determined to stay in bed, regardless of how I felt.

I was lost in thought when the pups started to fuss. This brought me back to the present, and the nannies brought them to me and helped me change them. I then fed them and put them back to sleep. I then got out of bed to take a shower. That did not require much effort. I did not care what Ray said. I needed a shower.

He could fuss at me all he wanted. I was sore and knew the hot water would help with all that. I was healed entirely, but my muscles still hurt, probably from not using them and lying around. I walked to the bathroom, turned on the water, and adjusted it. I finally got the perfect temperature when Ray came into the bathroom. I turned around and was standing in front of him, completely naked.

I saw the bulge in his pants start to grow. I blushed. Of course, I could never get used to seeing that sort of thing. Ray was not a violent man. When it came to that, he was always gentle, no matter how horny he was. He was tender and gentle. But I guess it is just a girl thing. I have never had to talk with other women who were married, so I did not know if that was normal. I knew when I looked at him, I was instantly turned on. But that is what the mate bond does.

I know he would be the only one I would desire for the rest of my life unless the mate bond were severed. But that would only happen in death. I had no intention of rejecting him as my mate, and he had no intention of rejecting me. That would never be a concern.

He walked up to me, wrapped his arms around me, and kissed me passionately. I returned the kiss and wrapped my arms around him. I pushed my hips into him, letting him know I was just as turned on as he was. He let out a growl. Then, I helped him get undressed. I had put a shower chair in the tub because I liked to sit on it when I showered.

He picked me up, stepped into the bathtub, and gently sat me on his lap. I stood up just enough for him to enter me. He then started thrusting into me. I was tight, and he felt good inside me. It did not take long before we both reached our climax. He just held me for a while. Then he whispered in my ear.

" I love you, my princess," he stated.

" I love you too," I responded.

"I've got to go, but I will see you later," he stated.

He then kissed me, got out of the shower, and got dressed. I finished showering and let the water run on my sore muscles. I shaved my legs and all the places that needed to be shaved, got out, and got dressed. I then walked to the nursery and checked on the pups. They were still sleeping. I then went and laid down myself.

I needed to get ready for the battles ahead and be prepared to help my kingdom.
