The Lost Princess Of The Lycans Chapter 125: A Very Productive Day

Sarahs POV

After dealing with the children in the orphanage and getting them squared away, the orphanage was empty. I was delighted that all the children now had homes. The teenagers that belonged to the White River Clan were brought up to the house. When we got there, Mike already had lunch prepared. He was surprised that there would be extra people. He handled it with grace and immediately prepared extra plates.

He always cooked a lot of food. His reasoning was for a late-night snack or a quick breakfast.

" Welcome, kids," he stated.

" Help yourself," he stated.

After getting the kids settled, I went to find Ray. He was right where I thought he would be, in his office. I knocked, and he yelled, "Come in." I knew he knew it was me. He held a hand up to silence me.

" Before you even ask my beautiful queen, I know what you want," he stated.

" I have already called Caleb to come to the office," he stated.

He was sitting at his desk. I walked over to him, and he pushed himself away from the desk just enough for me to sit on his lap. I loved sitting on his lap. I knew it was something we both enjoyed. He enjoyed it a little too much, as his pants would have a bulge in them when I got up. Sometimes, I felt bad.

I sat down on his lap and then gave him a deep and passionate kiss. I promised that I would take care of his needs later that evening, which I had every intention of doing. We were making out when there was a knock at the door. I could hear him say the word damn under his breath. Which told me he wanted more than making out. I also wanted more than that as well.

It was Caleb or Alpha Caleb.

" Where did you find Suzie and Jonny?" he asked.

" They were in the orphanage," I responded to him.

" Their parents will be thrilled," he stated.

" Is there a way you could have them come here," I asked.

" I will be leaving in two days. " I will take them then," he responded.

I wasn't happy with that thought. I wanted their parents to know that they were here, and I wanted to get them to their parents as soon as possible. I had no idea when they last saw their parents.

" I will call them," Ray stated.

" Thank you, my love," I responded.

I then got off his lap and left the room. I had said all that I needed to. I then went to the nursery to check on the pups. The nannies were rocking them in the rocking chairs. They were peacefully sleeping. The bottles that I had prepared were empty. I sat down and pumped some more milk for the pups.

I then went to the kitchen and got a bite to eat. I have been making sure to drink plenty of water and eat as much as I can so that my milk supply stays up. I want to be able to breastfeed the pups for as long as possible. After eating, I wanted to check on the pups again. I was extremely happy that they were awake. I held both of them and fed them. I spent a little bit of time with them.

I then change them, swaddle them, and kiss them goodbye. It will be a couple of hours before I get back. Now is the time to meet with the freed slaves. I hate the word slaves, but I do not know what to call them. I know that many of them will hopefully be on their way back to their clans and families. Again, we meet in the courtyard. All the people who are healthy enough to walk are there.

"Ladies and gentlemen, please quiet down," I state.

" I need you all to come up and state your name, what clan you are from, and whether you desire to go back to that clan or stay here, " I said.

I then sit down and take out a notebook and pen. Four other ladies are helping me. We make columns on the paper. The columns are name, age, clan, and mate. I hope that there are mates here and that they were able to keep it a secret. If there are, I want to have a mating ceremony for them. After everything that these people have been through, they deserve happiness.

After about an hour, we were not even halfway through the line. Also, I'm very pleased that there are mates here. Some were taken as mates and kept apart. Some found their mates among the clan here and kept it secret. No, the mates can be together. I have had people set up a tent for couples. There are dividers so they can have some privacy.

By the time we got through all the lines, there were thirty couples and several who had mates in other clans who were trying to buy them back. There are also single ladies and gentlemen who have yet to find their mates. Now, I will go talk to the ones who are still injured. Several of them were being injected with silver to prevent them from healing, so Dr. Bernard is flushing their systems like he did mine.

After speaking with the injured and finding out where they were from and if they still had family, everyone was sorted. The ones who wanted to return to their clans were granted permission to leave as soon as they were able. I am going to speak to Ray about having a large mating ceremony for the couples. Several had found their mates before coming here and were taken against their will.

All those people left that evening and headed back home to their clans and families. The couples who wanted to stay were granted permission, and the couples who wanted to leave were invited to stay long enough for the ceremony. Some agreed, and some did not. Either way, I was very happy.

Even though today was a long day, it was a successful day. I was tired and headed back to the house when I heard a noise behind me. Something inside me screamed danger. Before I knew it, I was hit from behind and knocked to the ground. It was a sizable black lycan. I did not recognize it, but I was pretty sure that it did not belong here. I let out the loudest scream I could. I wanted to warn anyone within earshot to hear me.

Before I knew what was happening, Nash appeared and had the wolf pinned. I scooted away as fast as I could. I was bleeding from my head and felt dizzy and lightheaded. I was healing, but not fast enough. I then focused all my fear and shot a lightning bolt at the lycan that was attacking. Then everything went black.
