The Lost Princess Of The Lycans Chapter 193: Getting Away From Ray

Sarahs POV

After falling asleep again, I woke up again several hours later. Ray was lying next to me on the bed. He was sleeping, but I knew he wasn't in a deep sleep. He worried about me a lot. I moved to get up to go to the bathroom.

" Where are you going, princess," he asked.

" I'm going to the bathroom," I responded.

" Not without me," he stated.

He had tied a rope around mine and his ankle. He was making sure I was not going anywhere without him. The thought was strangely comforting. I would love to be forced to follow him around all day. I enjoyed being around him, so this was not a significant issue. He told me everything, and I'm sure he would appreciate not having to say everything to me after he finished the stuff that he had to do. I knew there was more to last night. I don't know what happened after I left, but it was not good. Everybody's actions told me that.

I felt alright this morning after cutting myself and then fainting. I believe I was also told I was pregnant, which was going to be a difficulty that I was not prepared for. I was not ready for the pups to be born in the Great Plains clan. When we had other clans to visit, but if that is what the powers-at-be want, then that is fine with me. I finished my business in the bathroom and then went to get dressed. I felt fine. I was hungry.

" Babe, you need to untie this so I can get dressed," I stated.

He untied me and stayed in the room while I got dressed and brushed my hair. While I was getting dressed, he got dressed as well. He then tied our ankles together again. He was serious about not letting go more than twenty feet away from him. I knew he was worried that I would get kidnapped or hurt again. He is just being silly and over-protective. I understood completely why he was being like that. But I knew it was going to get annoying. Especially when he had things to do, and I had things to do. It was going to be difficult.

I will talk to him later this evening. I will go along with him today. We stopped in the pups' room and checked on them. We did not stay long in their room. He had to talk to all the alphas and Darren. We went into this big room that I had never seen in all the years that I had lived here. There were maps all over the wall. Then, all the older weapons were there—swords, bows, arrows, and things of that nature.

The walls were lined with pictures of Lycans wearing armor. Then, there was a picture of them shifting from human to Lycan. The armor shattered. The walls were bloodred, and so was the carpet. The table was huge. It had at least fifteen chairs on each side, a chair at the head and a chair at the bottom of the table. There were a lot of places for people to sit. Ray called the meeting to order. While he was distracted and distracted in the meeting, I untied the rope attached to my ankle. I then snuck out of the meeting. I did not need to know everything.

Ray can tell me where he wants me. I knew there were no secret rooms to hide me and the pups in. There could be. After being in that room for the first time since I have been here. I lived here for years before I was rescued. I had never been in that room. I knew there was a basement to the main pack house. But that was it. The alpha would have the pack members' mates and children hidden there. But that was it. The house above it could still be set on fire. The house would burn above it. Everyone in the house was busy preparing for war. A lot of the Lycans that were there I had never seen before.

I had no idea where Donald was and if he was alive. I left him knocked out in the woods. He could have been eaten alive by other animals, like bears and lions. I wished that was the case. I know I was not that lucky. It felt good to hit him for betraying us. I wanted him dead. I was going to help in this war one way or another. I was going to focus all of my attacks against him. Izzy taught me a way to counter his shut-down spell. That is what she called the spell. I was not going to hide anymore. Pregnant or not, I'm going to stand by Ray's side.

" Forgive me, Your Majesty," a familiar voice behind me stated.

" But aren't you supposed to be in that meeting?" she started.

I turned around. It was Izzy. I ran up to her and hugged her. Then, all of a sudden, a thought occurred to me. What if she was in on what Donald had done? I quickly stepped back from her.

" Yes, I am," I responded to her.

" Sarah, don't worry. I am not here to do anything but be by your side and protect you, " she said.

" Sarah, I was banned from the witches for the spell I cast on you," she stated.

" Then why was Donald having you train me?" I asked.

She explained that she had been banned, but when she heard that I had powers, she took it upon herself to train me. Donald did not make a scene when she was there because he did not want to give away his plan to her. What about Ruby? Did she feel the same about Donald? I needed to talk to her. I said goodbye to Izzy, and she went to the kitchen after ensuring I was safely inside the guest room. She checked every corner and under the bed; she even used a spell that would show anyone who had cast a spell of invisibility. I sat at the end of the bed. I closed my eyes. Ruby, I need to talk to you.

" I'm here, Sarah," she stated.

" As to Donald, he was always a backstabber."

She explained that Donald became king of the witches after betraying his best friend. He was one of the reasons she was burned at the stake. It was sad that your brother would betray you. She had her soul leave her body. Without your soul, your body dies. She did not feel she was being burned alive. That I was grateful for. I did not need nightmares about being burned alive. I had enough nightmares. When I was done talking with Ruby, I walked into the kitchen. Izzy was still there.

" How long are you going to be here," I asked.

" As long as you are in danger," she stated.

" That will be the rest of my life," I stated.

That was a sad thought. Once word got out about my DNA, I'm sure people would always want it. I was always going to need to be protected. So, were the pups always going to be in danger? It was sad that they would always be looking over their shoulder. But that was going to be our life. Unless they were never taught how to use their power. But I was going to ensure they would be taught how to use it and control their emotions. Nobody will get hurt. They will not be surprised by their powers and what they were.
