The Lost Princess Of The Lycans Chapter 107: Bringing The Pups Home

After a night of intimacy with Sarah, it was a new day. I was still surprised about how tight she was after giving birth to our pups. It was like she was a virgin again. But I knew better than that. I would have loved to be her first. But a monster got to it before I did.

I headed to the hospital to see my pups. I did not get an opportunity to see them yesterday, and I was missing them. I was cautious when I got up this morning not to wake her up. I wanted her to rest. She has been doing a fantastic job caring for them. I wanted her to get a break this morning. I knew Sarah pumped, so there was breast milk at the hospital so that I could feed them. She ensured enough breast milk for at least a day's feedings.

I had a lot to do, but I would make time for my pups every day, regardless of the situation and what was going on. I also had plans to have a dinner date with my beautiful queen. She grew more attractive every day. But then again, I'm biased because she is mine.

I reached the hospital before I knew it and was greeted with the usual ceremony. I walked to the pups' room, and the guards did their job. They bowed to me, and I acknowledged their presence. I went into the room. The nurse was weighing them. She was startled when I cleared my throat.

" Oh, your majesty, you scared me," she responded.

"I'm sorry that was not my intention," I responded to her.

" Are you here to take them home?" she asked.

" No, I'm here to feed and spend time with them," I responded.

I was not going to take them home without Sarah being there. I wanted us to walk out of the hospital as a royal family. Besides, I was not going to take that away from her. She has been looking forward to the day we bring them home.

" The doctor is going to release them around noon." the nurse stated.

"I'll go get things prepared," I responded.

So much for not disturbing my sleeping beauty, but I knew she would enjoy this news. I quietly slipped back into the bedroom, and she was still sleeping beside the fireplace. I walked over to her, sat down, and rubbed her back.

" Baby, it's time to get up," I stated.

I got half a coherent huh, and she grabbed my hand. All I could do was chuckle. She was sleeping soundly. Her nightmares were less and less frequent now, and she was settling into her new life.

" Baby, come on. You need to get up. The pups need you," I said.

Her response was surprising. She jumped up and was ready to take on an army. I should have used different wording because she hit me on the nose while jumping up.

"What's wrong with my babies?" she shouted.

She was prepared to embark on a warpath and rushed around the room to get dressed.

"Nothing, my love, nothing is wrong. They get to come home," I stated.

" You made it sound like something was wrong," she responded, half pouting.

" Finish getting ready, and I'll have a car pulled around and the car seats installed so we can take them home," I responded.

" The nursery here and the one at the palace are ready," I stated.

She finished getting ready, and I had the car pulled around. I had the nannies summoned, and they were finishing the last touches of the nursery. Mainly just putting things up where Sarah wanted them. She was smiling ear to ear as she finished getting ready. This was the day Sarah had been dreaming about for a while. She double-checked the nursery, got the pups' clothes, and headed downstairs to the car.

We met at where the car was parked and waiting. She had a smile that could light up the room. She was so happy to be able to bring the pups home. I was, too. But I did feel safer with them at the hospital because of the impending war. Also, they had her DNA as well as mine. They had witches' blood as well as lycans.

I smiled, and we walked into the hospital to get our pups. She practically ran to their room. She was ready to have them home. I was happy watching her being a mother. She carefully dressed them, kissed each of their body parts, and then carefully put them in the car seats.

She insisted on carrying one of the car seats, and I had the other one. We carefully placed them in the car, and she latched the car seat into place with the pups in it. You would think they would break the way she was acting, much like the first time I took her home. She was so fragile at that time that I thought she would break.

But look at her now. She is so much stronger and gave birth to two beautiful pups. We drove the five minutes to the house and carefully got them out of the car. She went straight to the nursery, where she would spend much of her time until they got a little older. They would grow fast and learn to walk, then begin training for their positions in the pack.

Sarah was learning as she went, and Brittany wasn't teaching her anything. Brittany had the training from our mother, but she chose to be a warrior instead of a princess. If anything happens to Sarah, me, or the pups, she will become queen and have to run the kingdom. But I do not see that happening.

After we got the pups settled in the nursery, we went to the kitchen.

" My love, we need to talk about the coming war," I stated.

" I know," Sarah responded to me.

" What needs to be done," she asked.

" We need to prepare the warriors, and I want you and the pups to return to the palace, " I said.

From the look on her face, she had no intention of going back to the palace. She wanted to stay and fight by my side, which made me happy. But I was worried about her safety and the pups'.

" I will allow you to stay and train and set up the safe room," I responded to her look.

" Thank you, babe." was all she said.

She knew I could read her mind, which pleased her. I mind-linked Caleb and Brittany to come to the house. They both arrived at the same time.

" You will train Sarah and help her prepare the safe room," I stated.

I then dismissed both of them and returned my attention to my queen. I wanted to spend the rest of the day with her and the pups.
