The Lost Princess Of The Lycans Chapter 137: Torture and interrogation

King Rays POV

After embracing Sarah in our bedroom, we looked at each other and nodded in agreement. She then walked over to the nursery and kissed and hugged each pup. The nannies then headed to the secret room. I knew that this was killing her inside. I would not expect anything else. She is a mother, after all. It made me wonder about my own mother—how she felt when she had to put myself and Brittany into a secret room to protect us.

I looked at Sarah, and I could see the tears running down her cheeks. That made my heart break into a million little pieces. After that, she will no longer take part in anything so dangerous. If it is hurting her this much, she will never have to leave her pups again. After sealing the pups in the secret room, we headed to the dungeon.

But it took a long way to the dungeon door. Yes, it would have been easier to go through the door leading into the dungeon from the secret room, but I did not want it to be easily found. Doing it this way would ensure nobody knew about the door but me and the builders. Sarah did not even know about it. I hated hiding it from her, and I was doing it to protect her and my pups.

\` When we reached the door, Sarah froze. That was not like her. That is when the scent of fear was so strong. This is too much to ask of her. She was frozen in place. She was not moving. Just then, it felt like time itself just stopped. Donald was the only one that wasn't affected, which was different but understandable.

I was able to walk towards her slowly, and I put my arms around her, and time started again.

" Baby, if this is too much for you, then you don't have to do it," I stated.

" I'm fine," she stated.

I knew it was a lie but would not push the matter further. She is not OK. I can feel her emotions. She forgets that I can feel her feelings. I will deal with that later. The weather outside is already changing because of her feelings. It's getting darker outside. She can keep it together long enough to do what we need her to do. I'm still holding her and trying to comfort her.

She finally pushed me away, and I did not notice that the weather started to calm down. That meant she was calming down. We might have a chance at this. I wanted to get the interrogation over with. This was going to be a long night. Not only do I have to make sure that Zorro doesn't escape, I have to make sure that Sarah doesn't kill anyone. What the hell did I get myself into? I thought that I had thought this whole thing out. But I did not consider her emotions and everything she had been through.

" You put your mate in danger," Nash stated.

" So you decide now to say something," I responded to him.

" You are dumb," he responded.

I then made it, so I couldn't hear him right then. I will deal with him later. Right now, I need to focus on this interrogation. I winked at Sarah, hoping that would provide her with some reassurance. I got a weak smile from her. We are both very stressed about the situation.

When we get to Zorro's cell, he's fighting against the chains holding him in place. Donald releases the seal around his cell while we enter, and then he redoes it. Now we are sealed in. Brittany and Caleb were there as well. They were here to help protect Sarah. I walked into the middle, where Zorro is.

" Now, why are you after Sarah's DNA," I asked.

" I will never tell," he responded.

I nod at Donald, and he casts a spell that shoots blue light. Then Juanita shoots a black light. Izzy makes a yellow light, and then it's Sarah's turn. She shoots that white light. Over Zorros' head is a tube going down towards him. He had a look of fear on his face. I can only imagine what this would do if it touched him. He stands in place and braces himself. I don't know if he knows how painful this will be.

Just as the end of the tube touched him, he let out the loudest scream I had ever heard in my life. Sarah screams when she has a nightmare. But this scream is the loudest I have ever heard. Darren and Brittany, Caleb, and Chrissy cover their ears. He screamed and twisted to try to get away from the pain. They let up a little, and he stopped screaming.

" When I get out of the chains, I will kill you and take Sarah," he yells.

" No, you will not," I growled.

I then walked up to him and punched him in the face so hard it broke his nose. Blood started squirting everywhere, and when I looked at Sarah, her face was white as a ghost. I immediately went to her side.

" Are you OK?" I asked.

She just shook her head, yes. She is not OK; I can feel it. When will she learn that I can feel her feelings and that she can't pretend to be with me? I will deal with it later. Right now, if I were to scold her in front of Zorro, he would use that against us. I don't need that. I was about to tell her to leave when Zorro freed one of his hands and tried reaching for her. I immediately shoved her behind me. I then enlarged my nails and, slashed at his chest and tore it open.

Within seconds, he was bleeding badly.

" Before you bleed out, you need to tell me why you are after Sarah and her DNA," I stated and asked.

" I don't want her," he said.

" Richard does," he stated.

Who is Richard? Why did he want her? He was sending people to start a war and causing chaos.

"I'm losing my patience with you," I growled.

" You will tell me what the plan is," I stated.

Between starting to lose consciousness and the blood loss, he explained that Richard wanted to clone an army from her DNA. Then Donald began to cast a spell that was stabbing him over and over again. He was not going to be alive much longer. That was not my business. He is the king of witches and can do what he wants with his criminals. I escorted Sarah out of the room. We got out of his cell and started to walk down the hall when she collapsed. She started sobbing uncontrollably. I sat down on the floor, pulled her in my lap, and just let her cry. She needed this. I will sit with her in my lap for as long as necessary.

It was not long before she had cried herself to sleep in my lap. I gently started to stand up and pick her up. Everyone then came out of Zorro's cell. Donald was carrying his head and was covered in blood. I knew Zorro was dead. Izzy had burned his body to ensure he was dead. I was glad that Sarah was asleep in my arms. We all headed out of the dungeon. I take Sarah to our bedroom and gently place her on the bed.
