The Lost Princess Of The Lycans Chapter 54: Surprise

King Rays POV

After the battle, the king's son came to me.

" Your majesty, I beg for mercy. Please do not kill me or my family," he begged.

" I will not kill you, but you are stripped of all power, and you are sentenced to be a rogue," I responded.

" Thank you your majesty." the ex-prince then left.

I wanted to kill him, but I knew that would only lead to bigger problems. I wanted to be able to take my queen and have a few days of just me and her. But that didn't seem to be happening. I ordered Caleb to go to the Great Plains Kingdom. I wanted him to go and see what we were working with. If Sarah talked about the king encouraging slavery, then they needed to be sent free.

I could tell everyone was tired and sore. We started gathering the injured. The enemy injured were put in the prison unit of the hospital. If they don't acknowledge me as the new king, then they will be imprisoned and put to death. I had no patience for rebellion. Also, I did not have time for nonsense.

I went into the main hall and all the food was still waiting. I invited the guests that weren't injured to eat if they choose to. The guest quarters have been prepared already. I had Sarah taken to the hospital earlier to be examined. I didn't think she had been seriously injured. I believe she was just upset. I then went to the dungeon.

I made the announcement that I was the new king of all the alphas. Some of the people bowed down to me. All except alpha Mark. I knew I would have problems with him. The solution was easy. He will be executed tomorrow in front of the whole kingdom. As an example, now the question was how he would be executed. I'll let him determine that. I then locked him up in complete silence.

I was headed to the hospital when Caleb mind-linked me.

" Your majesty," he stated.

" Yes Caleb," I replied.

" The queen has fainted," he replied.

I ran up the stairs, out of the front of the palace and then to the hospital. When I got there, Dr. Bernard meets me on the second floor. That is where shewolves are taken care of if they are pregnant. This couldn't happen. We only made love a couple of times. I guess anything is possible.

"Your majesty." he greets me.

"Congratulations." he states.

" What do you mean congratulations?" I asked.

" The queen is pregnant," he stated.

This is something I did not expect. We have just fought a battle. The war that was supposed to happen never did. Which I was grateful for. From this point on, she will be by my side.

" That's not all your majesty." Dr. Bernard states.

" Yes" I stated in a frustrated tone.

" It is twins." he states.

I sat down quickly. I felt like I was going to pass out. Twins this can not be. There have never been twins ever among lycans. What did the witch actually do to her? I knew during the battle there were trees that went flying through the air and impaled several wolves. So how could this happen? I will have to hit the history books. Because I wasn't told anything. I knew she didn't know anything about her family.

Eric came today, then after the battle, went back to his kingdom to prepare for any attacks if there were going to be any. I understood that. I will call him later. Right now, I want to be with her when she wakes up. The doctor told me that she was completely exhausted from today. So he gave her something to help her rest.

I already knew she was going to have a bad night. I would rather take her home. Where she could wake up in some familiar setting. We spent the night last night in the guest house so she was familiar with it.

" Dr. Bernard is there anyway. I can take her home." I asked.

" Yes she will be asleep for several hours," he stated.

" I will carry her," I stated.

I signed the release papers. Dr. Bernard said he would be there every day to monitor her. Which was fine with me. Also, I will assign more guards and staff to her. She was really fond of Stacey. So Stacey will be with her at all times. We do have a lot to do between now and when the pups are born.

" Dr Bernard, is she healthy enough for this?" I asked.

" Yes, she is with proper medical care," he stated.

I will see to that. I tell Dr. Bernard, from this point forward, is to reside at the palace. So he could be there at all times. I told him to finish his business he had here and to assign other doctors to his patients. I then picked Sarah up and carried her to the waiting car. Caleb had already been there with the car.

" Caleb, I thought I told you to head out.," I asked.

" Yes your majesty, I was heading out when Brittany told me the queen was at the hospital. I wanted to make sure she was OK." he stated.

"Thank you for your concern," I stated.

"After you drop us at the guest house you need to head out. We will be headed that way in a day or two," I stated.

We went to the guest house. I already had some of the food brought. I knew she would be hungry when she got released. But now she would be eating for three. I carried her to the bedroom in the guest house. It's not much. It has a walk-in closet big enough for both our clothes. A bathroom with a Jacuzzi bath tub and a walk-in shower and a toilet. Not much. The bed is a king-sized bed. It has four pillars and blue curtains that could be pulled for privacy.

I gently placed her on the bed. She is in her black dress that I had her put on. So I just take it off her, carefully not to wake her. I then lay down next to her.
