Mira dragged Victoria into the auditorium, where a crowd had already gathered.

Ella and her friends were there too. Jasmine was going on about knowing a famous screenwriter named Leon, which had Lila and Natalia showering her with compliments.

Trying to play it cool, Jasmine said, "Well, my mom's in the entertainment biz, so it's no big deal. I could introduce you guys sometime."

Ella beamed, "Jasmine, you're so awesome! It's great being friends with you!"

Lila and Natalia kept flattering her, making Jasmine laugh uncontrollably.

The surrounding students, overhearing their conversation, looked on in surprise, some even asking about Jasmine's background.

Lila soaked up the envious glances from others, feeling like she was now part of an elite social circle.

Suddenly, she noticed Victoria and Mira standing nearby. Raising her voice, she said, "It's important to be friends with high-status people, like Ella and Jasmine. They're rich, kind, and generous, and they help us become better."

"Being friends with low-status people only drags you down!" She made sure to direct her gaze pointedly at Victoria and Mira.

Jasmine noticed them too and remembered her past conflicts with Victoria.

Seizing the opportunity to humiliate her, she added, "Some people might be lucky enough to be our classmates, but their lowly origins can't be hidden. Our futures are worlds apart."

Ella gently tugged on Jasmine's sleeve, "Jasmine, don't say that. It's hurtful."

Victoria scoffed, "Jasmine's right. I've heard that daughters of mistresses often follow in their mothers' footsteps. Have you heard that?"

Though it seemed like she was asking Jasmine, Victoria was actually mocking Jessica for being a homewrecker, implying that Jasmine had no right to look down on others.

The other students were unaware of this backstory, but Mira knew and couldn't help but laugh, quickly covering her mouth.

Jasmine's face flushed with anger. She stormed over, pointing at Victoria, "What did you say?"

Victoria raised an eyebrow at her.

Jasmine's expression darkened, and she even raised her hand as if to strike. How did Victoria know about her family?

Just then, the auditorium doors opened, and a group of people emerged. Someone shouted, "Leon is here!"

Jasmine immediately lowered her hand, her expression shifting to a smile as she looked towards the door.

She couldn't afford to reveal her true self in front of Leon; her mother had warned her that Leon despised arrogant and bullying actors.

The teachers led the way, asking the students to clear a path. The students obediently stepped aside.

The crew followed, having finished their morning auditions and heading to the cafeteria for a break.

Jasmine quickly pulled out a small mirror to fix her hair and makeup, then ran over to greet them with a smile, "Mr. Schmidt, Mr. Myles, do you remember me? We met at the Riverdale film studio."

The teachers were about to scold her but paused, looking curiously at Leon.

The students began to murmur. "Does she really know Leon?"

"She seems quite familiar with him, but it's also possible that this girl has no sense of shame."

Some thought she was pretty and wondered why she hadn't run for Campus Queen.

Leon squinted, trying to place her face, but couldn't immediately recall. He remained silent for a moment.

Lyndon Myles, with a better memory, quickly recognized her, "You're Jessica's daughter? You've grown so much over the years, I almost didn't recognize you."

As the casting director, he was good at networking and had many connections in the industry.

Jessica had returned to the entertainment scene shortly after giving birth and had won several awards, maintaining a high status. He even considered having her cameo in a project.

Jasmine smiled sweetly, "Yes, it's me. I'm studying acting at Nexus College now. I heard the crew was here, so I came to say hello."

Lyndon nodded, "That's great. With your mom's talent, I'm sure you'll be a great actress too. In a couple of years, we might find an opportunity to work together."

Jasmine nodded eagerly, and Ella and the others crowded around her, eager to meet Lyndon and Leon.

Jasmine turned to Leon, "My mom always speaks highly of you, Mr. Schmidt. She says your scripts are excellent and you're a man of integrity."

Leon gave a polite smile but didn't respond, instead turning to Lyndon, "Weren't we going to eat?"

Leon's lack of enthusiasm made Jasmine's smile falter, but Lyndon, mindful of Jessica's connections, courteously invited Jasmine to join them.

Mira whispered to Victoria about Jasmine's two-faced nature, acting arrogant with them but polite and sweet with Leon. It was hypocritical.

However, Jasmine had achieved her goal of making a scene in front of everyone, and soon the whole school would be talking about her.

Victoria glanced at Leon, surrounded by people, and decided not to approach him.

As they turned to leave, Leon noticed Victoria's back and was about to call out to her, but was interrupted by a question from someone in his group.

By the time he finished, he couldn't find Victoria in the crowd and had to give up.

During lunch, Jasmine and her friends sat with Leon and Lyndon, trying hard to impress them, but Leon remained mostly silent, showing little interest.

After a quiet meal, Victoria and Mira left the cafeteria and ran into Dennis. He stopped Victoria, "Did you know Leon is here today?"

Victoria nodded, "I saw him. He's inside."

Dennis smiled, "I'm on good terms with him. I can introduce you."

Leon was the most respected screenwriter in the industry, and no acting student would refuse such an opportunity.

But Victoria shook her head; she knew Leon. She just didn't feel their relationship was close enough to approach him out of the blue, fearing it might disrupt his work.

Mira, however, was excited, shaking Victoria's hand, "Please, say yes! I also want to talk to Leon face-to-face."

"Alright then," Victoria reluctantly agreed.

The three of them approached the table.

Jasmine was in the middle of asking about the lead roles, trying to get some inside information.
