The Inescapable Celibate Heir Chapter 198: Seduction

Paul leaned his face against Willow's shoulder, thinking he was being romantic. "Willow, can you honestly say you've never had feelings for me? You haven't dated anyone for so long, isn't it because of me?"

"Get lost!" Willow felt nothing but disgust. Paul's unkempt appearance and smell almost made her vomit.

She hadn't dated because she was busy with school, snooker tournaments, dance practice for hours every day, and keeping up with friends.

Until she won the "Starlight Dance Showdown" gold medal, she didn't want to make time for a boyfriend.

She stomped hard, her stiletto heel digging into Paul's shoe, causing him to yelp in pain.

His grip around her waist loosened, and Willow quickly broke free, turning to give him a resounding slap.

Just then, a woman's scream pierced the air. "What are you two doing!"

It was Maggie, who had come looking for Paul and saw them in an embrace.

The garden's bushes obscured her view of Willow's disgusted expression, making her think Willow was seducing her boyfriend.

Maggie, with a few friends in tow, stormed over, glaring at Willow.

Paul's drunkenness vanished, and he hurried to explain, "Honey, it's not what you think. She came onto me!"

"You homewrecker!" Maggie shot Paul a glance before swinging her arm at Willow's face.

Willow, who danced and played sports daily, reacted quickly and was stronger than Maggie. She caught Maggie's hand, immobilizing her.

With a cold smile, Willow used her other hand to slap Paul, leaving a clear red handprint on his swollen face. He stared at her in shock, holding his cheek.

Willow couldn't be bothered to look at Paul again. "Maggie, keep your boyfriend in check. Consider this slap a gift from me. Tell him to stop bothering me."

She shook her hand and turned to leave, needing to wash off the filth.

Maggie, trembling with rage, pointed at Willow. "What do you mean, Willow? Are you saying my boyfriend came onto you? You need to explain yourself!"

Seeing the growing crowd, Paul didn't want to admit his fault publicly. He quickly hugged Maggie. "Honey, I only have eyes for you. I had too much to drink and went out for air. Willow suddenly clung to me, saying she'd sleep with me even if I didn't break up with you."

Paul exaggerated, trying to paint Willow as a promiscuous woman.

Willow stopped in her tracks, shocked at Paul's shameless lies. He had just pretended to be affectionate, and now he was slandering her in front of everyone.

Maggie's friend angrily said, "Willow, your family is respected in Sunhaven. How could they raise such a shameless girl? Paul is Maggie's boyfriend. Even if you like him, you shouldn't seduce him at her birthday party. If this gets out, no decent man will want to marry you."

Victoria and Sophie, hearing the commotion, came over and saw Willow surrounded.

Willow, taller than the others, coldly said, "Are you blind? Which eye saw me hugging him? He was the one clinging to me. Only Maggie would treasure someone as disgusting as Paul. He chased me for a year, and I never accepted him. Why would I suddenly lower my standards today? It's laughable!"

Willow's tone was full of disdain and disgust for Paul, making Maggie feel sorry for him. "Paul is my boyfriend. How dare you insult him?"

Willow retorted, "You know he's your boyfriend, so don't let him out to scare people. He's like a mad dog. When I see him, I just want to get away. If I can't, I have to kick him."

Her harsh words made any affection Paul had for her vanish, replaced by hatred. He wanted to ruin her reputation.

"Willow, that's not what you said earlier. You said you regretted not being with me after I got with Maggie. You said you liked me but were too shy to admit it. Now you've realized you want to be with me and are willing to wait for me to break up with Maggie."

Sophie and Victoria finally pushed through the crowd to stand by Willow.

Sophie, barely steady, started yelling, "You're lying! My sister never liked you! So many guys chase after her, and you're the ugliest. Who would like you?"

Maggie shrieked, "I don't want to hear your excuses! Willow seduced my boyfriend today, and I won't let it go! I'll make sure everyone in the dance community knows you're a shameless slut!"

Dena arrived with friends influential in the dance world, who would likely side with Maggie. If this wasn't cleared up, Willow's reputation in the dance community would be ruined.

Willow frowned. No one had seen what happened, and there were no witnesses. Her and Paul's stories conflicted, with no evidence to back either up. The result would be that people believed what they wanted. After today, there would be many rumors about her.
